I think he should’ve kept the list under $200 US dollars to be fair… some of these are not affordable for others, and might not be able to purchase at the retail level, bc of availability and being SOLD OUT, which means you have to have to pay resale and that can go into higher $200s for some of these models.
@@elliotpage_ fair enough… but factoring different US state taxes & shipping for the AJ1s they come out to just under $200 barely or some going slightly over. So they technically qualify. Bc they are $180 USD plus tax. Unfortunately all AJ1 Highs here in Canada cost well over $200 CAD with $235 plus tax so they come out to well over $265 CAD, that’s with the currency conversion… The Black Toe Lows are $180 CAD plus tax they come out to $197.80 so they are also barely under. Jordan’s here in Canada are too overpriced man. I remember I used to buy the AJ1 Mids for $135-$140 CAD but it seems everything went up. Mids are now $175 CAD plus tax. Bc Highs were impossible to get back then. At least everything these days are now more readily available on shelves…. Jordan 1 Hype is not quite dead but there are models you can’t just walk into a store and expect to find.

I agree with this but Elliot has been becoming a HypeBeast lately unfortunately, esp with his channel growing….and that means these shoes are the affordable for the common or avg Sneakerhead. Not for school, unless you mean university kids who can afford them. There are other brands like New Balance (entry price models), DC, Timbalands, Rockport, Reebok, Puma, Vans, etc…. that he could’ve expanded on. He likes to focus on Nike, Air Jordan’s, Yeezys, and adidas, not much on New Balances or Pumas unfortunately.
our definition of affordable is very different, great choices im not saying that there all great everyday wears but i was expected a list full of great picks for under 150

Can never go wrong with the Nike P6000 for about $60. They're what people call dad shoes but theyre comfy af and different. The colorway i got is just gone now I cant find it on Nike, so I went to stockx and goat because I wanted another pair since mine are pretty beat and they're listed around like 2k for some reason.
I wear sneakers pretty much year round any suggestions on sneakers with best traction on icy or wet surfaces, maybe even in combination with Goretex? I’ve noticed the last few years that even just on wet sidewalks it’s been dangerously slick. Thanks for any feedback.

How y’all complaining about this? Most students don’t reallyyyyy care about shoes till middle/high school and if you in that range without a job then that’s on you. Go get a job get your money up and you can get these and others. All it takes is a shift wherever you work everyday for a summer and you can easily get shoes of many prices. This summer alone from working everyday I’ve been able to buy Lost and Founds, Military Blacks, and most recently Hyper Royals. Get a job and stop complaining about these shoes being “expensive”.

Anyone who wears bigger sizes from lets say size 12.5 can‘t cop most of these shoes under 250 $. Maybe you should focus more on the size and set a bigger size lets say a size 13 as your starting point and build from there on the list because bigger sizes are more expensive. I can‘t find the SB Gardenia under 300 € anywhere so the list is not accurate for everyone. Just my thought about it thats all.
back to school affordable is $150+ now? jeez. Used to think $60 shoes from the outlets were nice, $80-100 was a privilege. Didn't grow up poor or anything, parents had more than enough money and we lived in a nice area but $150 for back to school shoes is insaneeeee lmao.
