Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a pretty cool crossover, and it’s awesome to see the Dark Knight fighting against Shredder. Also, Ninja Turtles being in Injustice 2 is extra awesome as well.
Same, I mean i notice that a lot of people dislike it. So to those people I say, Say what you will about Batman Vs TMNT but It's one of my all time favorite animated Batman films! Seeing Batman fight Shredder is totally badass!
There is one crossover I always wanted to see when I was a kid: Teen Titans / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Greg Cipes is the voice of Beast Boy and 2012’s Michelangelo so these two radical dude would enjoy eating pizza and playing video games like bros.
@@zeldagameryt4018 Shredder teaming up with Slade makes more sense. Brother Blood? I dunno. But one thing both Ravanger and Karai have in common is both have daddy issues.
Sequel bait be damned! If they were going to do a sequel, they would've started working on it by now. I guess DC and WB don't want to bend over backward for Nickelodeon so much anymore.
Say what you will about Batman Vs TMNT, But It's one of my all time favorite animated Batman films! It was totally awesome seeing the turtles team up with one of DC's most badass heroes! Hell the scene where Batman fights Shredder is one of the best parts of that movie!!!
I noticed Turtles Forever wasn't on this list, other than a passing mention. While it was cool to see the '87 Turtles and the '03 Turtles join forces, the movie was ridiculously one-sided and went out of its way to insult everything about the '87 Turtles. Heck, they even went as far as having '03 Raph constantly throwing out jabs and insults towards everything involving the '87 series! Worst of all, If you thought the TMNT were poorly-written in Power Rangers In Space, the '87 Turtles were portrayed as incompetent, catchphrase-spewing buffoons who never took anything seriously! My sister put it best when she said that it's like taking the Teen Titans, but giving them the personalities of Teen Titans Go! That analogy couldn't be more perfect. Worst of all, Turtles Forever never even got a proper video release! It's bad enough that the DVD only feature the edited-for-TV version, instead of the uncut one, the cover featured generic stock images of the '03 Turtles, rather than the epic poster used for its limited theatrical screenings! Turtles Forever was an ambitious anniversary movie, but it was plagued with many problems. In fact, it should have made it into this video, both as an honorable AND dishonorable mention. I wouldn't be surprised if the '12 series did 'Trans-Dimensional Turtles' in order to give the '87 TMNT a proper crossover/tribute.
Trans-Dimensional Turtles wasn’t the only team up between the 80’s and 2012 Turtles, there was also a 90 special at the end of the 2012 series called Wanted: Bebop and Rocksteady. It had the newer Bebop and Rocksteady team up with the 80’s Shredder and Krang, and the 2 teams of Turtles worked together to stop them, and allowed for several comparisons between the shows and was a great way to send off the 2012 series.
Actually Raphael: Mutant Apocalypse is the series finale. They even payed tribute to the creators of the source material before the credits rolled. However, it's more like a what if scenario rather than an actual canon event. Fun fact: Raphael: Mutant Apocalypse is split into three episodes, The Wasteland Warrior, The Impossible Dessert and Carmaggedon. They were also the last episodes to be produced for the show.
The most iconic will always be a TMNT and Usagi Yojimbo. ANY TMNT and Usagi Yojimbo. But I like the animated Bat-Turtle crossover. Also, the comics did have a proper xover with Moo Mesa once.
Because villains all have the same goal. Heroes do clash at first, probably due to trust issues at first. I just got used to it. The worst is when that clash is all part of the villains' plans.
Well, part of it is planning. The villains set up the meeting to plan to work on some scheme whereas the heroes bump into each other accidentally in the process of trying to deal with it. Still would think at least some of them shouldn't have to punch it out before agreeing to work together, but it's the fact they never really meant to meet up that leads to them fighting usually. At least the Batman vs TMNT one makes sense. Batman doesn't generally tolerate others in his city, so it's natural he wouldn't initially be willing to work together.
I actually like the batman Collab and the injustice collab one of my favorites but the power rangers and TMNT Collab was funny I still liked it brings back memories from my childhood 😭
OF COURSE Batman works well with the turtles. They remind him of his kids The oldest is a perfect son who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders but is also a massive dork who makes lame puns (Dick/Leo) Next is the loose canon with anger issues in a red mask (Jason/Raph) Then comes the socially awkward super-genius with a bo staff (Tim/Donnie) And they’re all best friends with a ginger computer genius who’s the only girl and might be shipped with any of them depending on the writer (Barbara/April)
@Optimal-Megatron05 Tim is totally Donnie. He’s too smart and self-conscious to be anyone else. And Babs is April on so many levels (especially when TMNT makes April smart too) That game just has April instead of Mikey
If there’s one TMNT crossover that needs to happen, it’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Spider Man. Why? They’re both heroes in New York, and Peter relates to all the four turtles.
I’m happy that Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made the list as one of the best crossovers. It became an instant favorite for me after I first watched it! Why haven’t they made more TMNT/DC superhero crossover movies yet? I’d love to see the turtles team up with Superman or the Justice League or the Teen Titans.
Michelangelo being a Batman super fan introduced to the characters for the first time was one of my favorite parts of the movie. I'm still hoping for a sequel. Jokers "Virus" is running rampant in New York. In reality Karai and the foot are infected people to develop a cure for Shredder.
@@hayleyyeager8008 Well in the Injustice 2 game, you can have TMNT characters fight against Mortal Kombat characters (Raiden and Sub Zero) and basically all the members of the Justice league since it is a DC comics fighting game.
It wont work.... Street fighter characters are way too op. They are Dragon ball z characters prior to Namek saga... Akuma is like Frieza level if not higher
If you think that the Batman/Ninja Turtles crossover is great, y'all should totally check out the Spectacular Spider-Man/TMNT 2012 crossover fanfiction story "Along Came Some Turtles" written by author Legendary Dragon Reaper! The story takes place after the events of the finale of Spectacular Spider-Man, Season 2. Months after Peter Parker, A.K.A. Spider-Man had his final confrontation with his archenemy Norman Osborn, A.K.A. The Green Goblin, the Webslinger stumbles upon four brothers, the Ninja Turtles, as they're rescuing April O'Neil from the insidious aliens known as The Kraang. Realizing that the Kraang are a threat to New York City and the whole Earth, Spider-Man teams up with and befriends the Ninja Turtles and their mentor Hamato Yoshi, A.K.A. Master Splinter who also teaches the Webslinger the way of Ninjutsu in order to battle not just the Kraang but also the Foot Clan led by Master Splinter's deadly archenemy Oroku Saki, A.K.A. The Shredder! I guarantee that this crossover is the G.O.A.T.
TMNT recently got a crossover with Street Fighter. BTW, I wish Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles deserved a crossover with The Masked Singer in the later seasons part of Nickelodeon night or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles night.
Batman/teenage mutant ninja turtles (the comic book versions) and power rangers/teenage mutant ninja turtles (comic book versions) are the best ninja turtles crossovers, closely followed by Ghostbusters/teenage mutant ninja turtles 1 & 2 comic books
The initials and lame line from Raphael in the 2012 is directly taken from Turtles Forever when the Raph from 2003 is trying to convince the Mirage Turtles the 03’ versions aren’t wannabes and the 87 versions are lame for the initials.
Mine too. I think it wasn't the worst crossover at all like WatchMojo says while the comic book crossover sounds so better where the Turtles meet the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers even though I haven't read it. I also loved the Trans-Dimensional Turtles, Turtles Forever, the Batman and the Injustice crossover! Of course I love the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers: Zeo, Power Rangers In Space, Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy, Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue, Power Rangers: Time Force even Power Rangers: Dino Thunder and some of the other new Power Rangers seasons and the latest/current one Power Rangers: Dino Fury/Cosmic Fury along with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always, the 30th anniversary/reunion special the best. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers are both great even DC and Marvel too, the Justice League and the Avengers especially Superman, Batman and Spider-Man along with my other favorite franchise/universe above all, Star Trek! 😊
Mikey was certainly out of character in the Cartoon All Stars special. Raphael or Donatello would have been more appropriate options for that. Maybe Master Splinter or Casey Jones could fit the role better than Mikey.
I have the Batman/TMNT Comic Crossover along with the Batman/TMNT Movie and Adventures of Batman/TMNT and the TMNT/MMPR Comic Crossover and I love those crossovers! I can’t wait for to get TMNT/MMPR 2 in a full graphic novel.
I liked turtles forever better than the 2012 and 80s series crossover tbh because the turtles forever movie had the original hardcore mirage turtles besides the 80s and 2003 universes.
@iraford5788 Ok I was confusing the 2003 turtles with the mirage, I just re-watched that episode yeah the mirage turtles were in it like 30 seconds and not even fully animated sadly why I thought they weren't in it they practically weren't compared to Turtle's Forever. Would have been cool to see all 4 universe of turtles showing up or one team missing rather like turtles forever we had the 87 turtles, 2003 and mirage showing up. And of course that movie the entire multiverse of turtles were threatened and universes getting erased.
I think a TMNT needs to do a crossover with Transformers. I could definitely see Shredder and Megatron hitting it off and combining Shredder’s martial arts prowess and spikes with Megatron’s enormous size, firepower, and transformation!
Since Nickelodeon made a Transformers series and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is part of Nick history, I’m surprised they didn’t make a crossover between the Rise & Earthspark iterations. It’s probably because of the difference animation styles but considering that the Jimmy Timmy Power Hours are some of TV’s best crossovers, this isn’t really a problem on Nick’s end.
@@ShockwaveFPSStudios I think a crossover between Transformers Prime and TMNT 2012 would’ve been better because they used the same animation styles and the transformers did fight in underground New York once
The "Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" crossover was AWESOME! Especially with Mikey referencing the original cartoon's theme song. The reference in question comes when griping about being out of his element stating that Donnie "does machines" and that Mikey is "the party dude".
Smash Up had only 16 characters total to celebrate it's 25th anniversary and three of them were those stupid Rabbids. It may been a Smash clone but Brawl that came out a few years before had 3 times the amount of characters.
I think that Batman vs Teenage mutant ninja Turtles was the best Turtles Crossover and. I like to a crossover with Scobby do as they have both met Batman.
Im still waiting to see daredevil crossover with tmnt seeing as how both their origin stories are tied together. & it would be cool to see the hand & the foot ninja clans together
my favorite is batman, usagi, comic power rangers crossover. but the hilarious crossover Garfield where a Garfield comic had Garfield fail at auditioning to join the tmnt so he can lounge and eat pizza.
10:39 - 10:46, that'd be impossible now for any who haven't read the comics yet, because you showed more than one second of the crossover in this video.
I'm still waiting for a TMNT/Gargoyles crossover! Even in comic form, it would be awesome to see the Angels in the Night team up with the Ninjas in the Sewer protecting New York from the Foot and Quarrymen!
The injustice 2 dlc was good enough to wish for a Turtles Fighting game Granted it may not be as great as the crossover But if anyone could do it, it would have been Netherealm studios
Kid Danger: *wearing his big trucker pup outfit* without making my bad side showing it's ugly head, *holds up 2 wing feathers* i can name 2 off the top of my head, one is tmnt 2012 meets Usagi and B. My favorite behind tmnt 2012 is tmnt vs. Batman! Do not dare put either of them on the worst list or so help me! Fyi: THAT episode was aired 2 day BEFORE my birthday! *winks*
Denji Sentai Megaranger VS Mutant Turtles (manga reverse-adaptation of PRiS VS TMNT) Shuriken Sentai Ninninger VS Mutant Turtles ((digital only) console port of Ninja Steel vs TMNT 2012 game)
@@arilumani6194 I know but Turtles Forever is better! Trans Dimensional Turtles feels sort of like a retcon because the 80s Turtles don’t remember going to the Mirage Universe (Earth Prime)!!!
Making crossover is like combinding two of your favorite dishes. If you find. Two medias that complement each other and stay true to each one then it like an ice cream cake. If you find two medias that don't seem like they fit and you take then time to review the ingredents and subtitute other ingredients, you could get some like good resturant fusion food. But if you mix the food, thinking too much about the outcome, or what it should look like it will fail and audience will be disgusted. Leaving a bad taste in everyones mouth. Even the simplist of crossover concepts have shown to fail.
OMG! Batman and the turtles was awesome! ...And they fought with the Moo masa crew?! That is awesome! The drug PSA would have been better if they used Leo instead of Mikey!
For aMarvel Crossover, really y'all young. Daredevil TMNT the origins of both literally crossover with each other. Really the Foot are just the Hand . Seeing rhem mix it up woukd be cool. Rrad the first Batman Crossover, and the second comic where Bane takes over the foot and almost New York. It got so deaperate that Batman teams up with Shredder to fight Bane. Another missed was the TMNT and the Ghostbusters. Though scariest site of all time is Mikey wearing a Proton pack. Though in story Donnie dons a suit and a pack. What caused this a spirit in the turtles world that possessed Casey. This had a second crossover but missed it.
One of the best things about the multiversal team-up story is the revelation that 80s Kraang was one of the Kraangs from the 2012 series that got kicked out to another universe for being such an utter failure
Going to see the movie next Saturday locking forward to it grew up with the 1987 and 2003 version my little brother watches the 2012 version being compared the the orginal teen titans loved there dlc in injustice 2 Christmas of 2019 was awesome 😊😊😂
I want see TMNT 2003 crossover with Sonic the hedgehog, My little pony and Avatar tla and korra❤😊👍👍 And especially waiting tmnt crossover with popular anime shows: (Digimon , Naruto, Sailor moon, Yugioh, Rurouni Kenshin, Dragon ball, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x hunter, Pokemon and Shaman king ) , I imagine how turtles and anime heroes will fight in the arena of the Nexus Kingdom / Battle nexus ❤❤❤. Crossovers are awesome 🤩🤩🤩 . Example Leonardo 2003 vs Kenshin Himura (Battle Nexus Tournament)
The Batman TMNT crossover SHOULD have taken the number 1 spot... dunno WHAT that "number one" computer CG mish mosh was... since at least part of the lineup was the later versions after the late 90's that I had never seen.. kinda lost my flavor taste for them in truth when they were candycoated so badly from a few other attempts at "re envisioning" them into the early and mid 2000's...
Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an Awesome Crossover animated movie seeing Batman fight against Shredder was Awesome also seeing the Ninja Turtles in Injustice 2 as DLC Characters is also Awesome as well seeing the Ninja Turtles fight DC Characters was Awesome
7:28 seeing Mikey in this Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue left way to preachy and bogus teaching kids to stay off drugs when really the writers themselves were on the drugs when they came up with is lame crossover special when it shouldn't been made to begin with
The Trans-Dimensional Turtles is by far the best. I absolutely loved the Turtles Forever movie, but also seeing the 80s and 2012 come together makes it just as good. I love seeing connections between the characters and is what makes us love the characters even more. Seeing the live-action of Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles crossover made my eyes hurt honestly. It really is the #1 worst. I would never watch and the Ninja Turtles, I don't even like this version. If it was at least the live-action movie ones from the 90s, I would've liked them better. Though the #2 worst was bad, I honestly like it. True, Mikey's preachy personality made him so out of character, I don't exactly hate it.
