@@HYoung777 Hm my experience last time was quite ok, the traffic was heavy on the roads near to the hotel, but not serious traffic jam. But i guess it also depends on the time (morning or evening peak) and weather conditions on the specific day. Maybe you want to check the traffic condition using Google Map after landing.
Mastercard or Visa should work just fine in most of the big hotels and restaurants. Taxis, they're mostly a cash-only deal. but I would suggest using transport apps like Grab or Bolt instead of taxis. you might want to give your bank a quick call. Check that your debit card can be used in Thailand and how much Fx conversion fee they charge
