Another great video! Thank you for putting us on the list. One thing worth mentioning is that most board companies' production times are 4 to 6 weeks... Ours is 7 to 10 business days..!
my guess is that if Buffalo Boards were in that $400 shipped category they EASILY take the #2 spot! AC gets #1 by default because they're the ones ACL uses on TV blah blah.. if money was no factor, Buffalo Boards hands down! 💪🏻
You definitely need to do this list every year. I wish it was around when I was deciding what to buy last Summer. I ended up with Ace Cornhole boards, which seem to be the best combination of quality and price. I pat myself on the back, didn't do too bad for someone who never played cornhole before. lol I found a lot of companies I was unaware of on this list. Thanks for putting this together.
Thanks for the list- keep them coming and updated. I have Buffalo's and you'd be hard pressed to beat the craftsmanship and design combo. Throw in unbelievable customer service- I can't recommend them higher.
From my understanding, it shouldn't matter as long as they are finished on top with polyurethane. If you finish with just paint or just epoxy, it will be too sticky to slide and will not hold up well in humidity. Hope this helps.
I got a set of ace boards and mine only had one brace in each board and I seen everyone else’s got 2 braces and one of them got warped very quickly, prolly just a bad set but I was very disappointed in mine
@@ronh.5809 we haven’t come across these boards yet. We are always happy to support made in the USA products like this, hopefully they can get us a set of boards to check out some day.
Just gonna add a few Flux Cornhole, pro boards are unique and in many acl regionals St. Pete Cornhole, no finish like it Get Outside Games, superb build for top level backyard
Not this time. We would like to see Ultra update their design a bit, the thin top wood is not our favorite. They play a bit different than boards with 18mm bb.
I have a set of ultras and I’ve played on multiple different ones on this list. Ultra definitely the best quality and stability. They also have a built in leveler.
They are but they arent great. You really want the surface of the board lit up and most lights are just a strip around the hole or the edge of the boards. You need to board itself lit for depth perception.
I develop these light kitsfor cornhole boards. Would this be interesting to you? I am doing some small product runs at the moment. Seem a simple video of a demo: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I2CklIRba-I.html Would love to be able to connect with you.
When we go to your site to check out your boards it is very hard to figure out what we are looking at. It seems like you are more focussed on printing designs than the performance of the board. I can't tell if the edges are routed, what the cross-bracing looks like, or if there are any details of your design that makes them unique. It seems that you use domestic bitch for your playing surface which isn't on the level of the boards on this list. Also we have not heard of any players advocating for your boards in forums and other discussion groups. These are the things you will want to focus on if you want to make the list.
@@CornholeNetwork I'm in the midst of a wesite overhaul, the redone site just went live this week and there is a good amount I still need to edit. All my boards have 3/4" Baltic birch frames with double cross-bracing and a leg brace (supplied by MAC until I get a bigger cnc), and 3/4" tops with rounded corners and rounded over edges. I use both domestic birch and Baltic for tops, depending on what the customer wants (many backyard/rec players opt to save some money and go with the domestic). As far as the playing surface goes...after the direct print and clear coat, the playing surface is the same between the domestic and Baltic. The only difference is overall board weight; a domestic birch top board is 2.6 lbs lighter. Performance is just as good as some of those on the list, based on my testing as well as feedback from leagues using my boards. I'm not very active in forums or discussion groups; I'm just a very small local company started last fall after 13 years of building boards as a hobby. I do enjoy doing the custom designed boards, that is definitely a focus as most of my customers are just looking for a good set that looks unique. One nice feature is my 4 year old daughter and I hand stamp both sides of the leg brace. It adds a personal touch and shows cornhole can still be fun and not so serious all the time. Appreciate the reply and feedback!
@@rwrusso Nice, sounds like a great board! We also use the Mac frame kit for our boards and it is awesome. Have a look at what Logic Cornhole is doing with their boards. I think they are a great example of innovating the design of the ACL spec design. If you want to get a following you will probably need to add some features to the design to make it different/better, as well as get the boards out into your local cornhole scene in tournaments etc. There are so many people making ACL spec boards these days it is tough to stand out in the crowd. We are always happy to help how we can.
While they look like nice boards there are some features we are not that crazy about- 5/8" wood instead of 18mm, as well as solid wood frames which can be prone to warping over time versus baltic birch ply which resists warping. If you treat them right I am sure they will last forever but we often leave our boards out for a night here in San Diego and solid wood frames have been a problem in the past.
I can understand why All Cornhole Pro is on here, but not the top. They are good boards, but other than being on TV, they shouldn't be in the top 5. That said, I agree with most of these being in the top 10. I don't think "best price" should be on here, just best period. I think price can be mentioned, but not part of the ranking. Mac Cornhole isn't in business anymore, so hard to know if they are actually good. Which is why a bullet point of the main selling points that makes them better than others is what should have been on the screen for each model. 1: frame/deck thickness. 2: leg thickness 3: rubber feet 4: handles in more than one spot. 5: UV Print/Sealant 6: cross braced/x factor 7: designs offered (this is subjective buy if you don't want to come up with your own art, then this is important) 7: weight/movement 8: Other features such was lights/cup holder/side printing. If I were doing a top 10, and listing the features that make it the best, it would be: In no particular order at this time, but I could come up with it if I were making a video or creating an article, top 5: WGC, Wicked Cornhole, Logic, Cornhole Solutions(they need rubber feet), Buffalo (due to artwork). Bottom 5: Bourbon Boards (check out their bracing), Queen City Yard Game(must upgrade to Premium Frame/legs), All Cornhole Pro(no handles at all, no rubber feet, moderate leg thickness, etc) Ultra Elite, OVC. And then honorable mentions: Chi town just because they offer something different, and Ace.
@@CornholeNetworkPlease work on a a 2023 updated list. Thanks. Also a mini board list too. Great video. I went with Cornhole Ace, and have no regrets. Best board at a reasonable price.
Where would u put bg boards on your list? I have a set of their older boards and see the new boards have better legs and another brace at the bottom. I’m fixing to upgrade and not sure if I want to go with bg again or go with the x-factors
This is very off. No reason why acl boards are number one. Cornhole solutions pro boards weren’t mentioned and cornhole chaos should be in the top five as well. Also you choose logic at number because your affiliated with them.
Mostlikly sponsorship list? I always see the more expensive the better? How can an item have a higher price in the lower bracket and then have lesser prices be in the hight bracket? Make sence? Or?
I hear what you are saying but there are valid reasons for these choices- the ACL boards get the top slot because they are the standard- pros that we know all own ACL boards because at the highest level thats what is played on. That plus the build quality earns the slot. Cornhole Solutions boards are on the list. And Logic is in the 2 slot because it is loaded with innovative design, the quality is as good as it gets, and the price is nuts for what you get. And yes we happen to see them in person and get you a discount, we are not affiliated in anyway other than liking their boards. With as many boards as there are in the world it is impossible to squeeze all the great ones in a list of ten. We will have a look at Chaos for the next list.
@@3AmericanPie This list is a mix of value and premium boards but all considered tournament grade- some people need a less expensive board, some people just want the best at any cost. I wanted to show best value and the best premium in the same list so people can make the best choice for their needs.
Bunch of Karen’s in the comments. Ridiculous guys don’t be so offended they didn’t pick the board in your back yard. This was educational and based on opinions
@@ryanbooker5555 The board we are talking about that weren't mentioned are Pro boards. The ones they use on the Pro circuits. Maybe you've migjt of seen them on tv? Wake up SNOWFLAKE.... SMH-! LoL.
Ultra make some nice boards but we find they are a bit more reactive than the competition ACL board, which is the standard at the highest level of the professional game. We personally own and play on Ultra boards and love them, but when we look at price to performance I think the more conventional 18mm baltic birch design wins slightly.
Where is Chi-Town Custom Cornhole? Built-in drink holders, box style design that is more durable and aesthetically pleasing than any boards on the market.
Chi-town has a long way to go before they make this list. They are more focused on art designs than board construction. And they sell corn filled bags. Come on now.
@@CornholeNetwork Have you ever played on their boards? They are well constructed, do not bounce, and obviously have some of the best artwork on the market. I believe the name cornhole derives from corn filled bags..
@@lukasmeowingaming-6622 I tried my best to see what the build looked like on their site and didnt see anything about the construction. I cant tell what wood is used, if there is cross bracing, if the edges are routed, etc. Pretty hard to know if they are any good without any details of how they are built. While the name of the game certainly is derived from corn filled bags, these types of bags are relics of the past in the modern world of cornhole. Kind of like how a 3 wood in golf is no longer wood. But hey you know all this if you play bags.
How is this a Review? There is NO Basis for why one is ranked higher than the others or lower...it's ridiculous. The Wicked Cornhole Beast or Quadzilla boards have handles literally everywhere you can have a handle and the legs are thicker than all others here...the #1 Boards are #1 why? Because that's what's on TV lol
