You certainly had a good year percy awesome finds. And may 2024 bring you more supprises. Loved the silver fob and the little cannon. The half-crown was a beauty never found one myself. Your Roman finds were awesome. Take care mate see you on the next.
Just subscribed yesterday, i live on the West Coast USA and really enjoy what your doing ! Those are all very very Cool ! Look forward to watching you find more of these cool finds in the comming year Thanks and Happy New Years to you ! 😅😅😅😅
Fantastic. Thanks for the video. I know it might not be so important, but what would you guess is an approximate combined value for the 10 items you display?
Hi Daniel, as you say financial value is not my priority in my hobby, I do it for my love of history. Many of the finds in my top 10 are only worth around £25-50 each but there are a few big hitters there. The Victoria half crown £70. Hadrian denarius £170. George 3rd gold quarter guinea £500. I guess a rough totally value of around £1,000 would be pretty close. What is most important to me is holding these sometimes ancient finds and feeling the history in my hand and mind. In a way it is the closest thing to time travel that we can achieve. Thanks for your support my friend.
Hi Tony, it was a very hard choice for no.1 mate. The denarius just edged it in my mind because of the stunning condition of a coin nearly 2,000 years old.
