No mention of Gelatinous Cube? It’s such a unique design with its see through and dripping sides, the items floating inside, and even has a unique box that no other Pop has. It definitely has to be my Pop of the year for 2020.
I don’t collect pops and personally I think they’re a waste of plastic, but after looking at this video you half convinced me especially the Morton salt girl. And various others. I can see the appeal. There’s something for everyone. As idivualistic toys they’re amazing but in vast collections they tend to get lost as a whole! Vast not personal!! Great video. A lot of great stuff to spend some coin on. Cheers!!

Honestly, I ordered this pop before I even watched the show just because of how good it looked and I really lucked out because after finishing the show, she turned out to be one of my favorite characters of all time! I really want a whole collection of the mythical ones. Like idc if the sphinx may be bad, I kind of like it. I do wish they made her look more evil since she was knowing for killing those who could not solve her riddle.

My older sister who plays Death Stranding said that the Higgs pop isn't accurate enough but Sam Porter Bridges is more accurate and they even nailed his facial expression
Hi there, Im a Critical Role fan and I can explain what it is- Critical Role is a bunch of Voice Actors who play Dungeons and Dragons on Twitch. They recently had a multi-million dollar Kickstarter to create an animated show based on their D&D campaign that got picked up on Amazon for a few seasons. The Pops here are their characters from their D&D game and the main characters of the upcoming show. All that being said, They kinda started a D&D renaissance in the last few years. Hope that clears some things up
I liked the marvel zombie pops their cool specially the more detailed ones like mysterio and wolverine then they had a smaller scale that added more and some cooler dezined ones like deadpool holding a brain taco and venom just a cool line in general.
I think Funko might have underestimated the popularity of Critical Role. Very very very passionate fan base. My husband was lucky to get the full set. Getting Trinket (the bear) without paying ridiculous flipper prices was a Christmas miracle for me.
I am not a huge pop collector...i really only collect the stitch pops and some of the horror ones...but i just wanted to come here and say that your videos are so well done i cant stop watching

I'm kind of shocked that Exodia the Forbidden One (yu-gi-oh series) didn't make the list. It's the most detailed pop I've ever seen. It was also incredibly hard to find due to being released in April 2020. Most people got theirs in July.
I agree with your list it matches mine except Inuyasha is top series for me. Sesshomoru is the name of the dog demon pop which they executed very well as a 6 inch pop. You didn't mention the Yu-Gi-Oh pops, Slifer the Sky Dragon is the best 6 inch pop of the line. I love the background you used for this video and I'm glad you're okay during all those chaos :)
I think the David Rose from Schitt's Creek is one of the best chases of the year. His outfit is from a memorable and funny moment in the show that any fan would recognize and its different enough from the common that you would want both.

I have a few of the ones on your list, and some of them I did indeed buy because I liked the design, and not because I collect the particular series. Like the Kraken and Medusa for instance (I don't really feel I need the whole Myths line) and a couple of Naruto ones. But I think my fave out of everything is either the Ice Cube in his Impala. He sits on my desk and makes me smile at work. Or the "This is Fine" meme pop.
He is good, I just wish the Junji Ito pops were black and white like the original artwork. I think these pops are based on the Anime which I didn't enjoy really.
Critical Role is kinda a podcast although it's a twitch/youtube show with cameras where you watch this group of voice actors play DND each week. THey have 2 campaigns and they are growing into a major franchise with comic books to the first campaign's origins (as the show begins in the middle of the story) and an amazon prime show based on the show coming this year. And that show had a kickstarter that raised 11 million
Dispute the bad things 2020 gave us, Funko did come out with some killer pops. Making my list is definitely going to be challenging. Also, really nice picks, dude. 👍
The April O'Neil pops are different character versions, the original is from the cartoon version, the newer one is from the 1990 Turtles movie. They just put her in the yellow jump suit because she didn't have a definitive outfit in the movie and where afraid that the pop wouldn't be as recognizable towards the franchise.
I agree with everything but the fact that you didn't put Mushu on the Panda on the Pop Rides list! That was easily one of my favorite figures of the year
My favorite funko pops of 2020 are: the neon genesis evangelion shinji, asuka, rei, and Eva unit 1 and x men movies Hugh jackman Wolverine in x men uniform.
Nice video and well verse on Funko Pops. Some pops I got it like the Gringotts Dragon was really awesome as the colors were matched with the movie scene so my opinion is it's quite okay to be that way😊 well people have different opinions and I respect yours. In my opinion, the Evangelion wave was the best of the year And ironicly, was of the first pop's of the 2020 xD But like happend a lot of times, they just make main characters, I wish they make a pop of Shinji in his uniform or another important characters like Misato I actually made some custom concepts of that But funko need to make more anime pop's like attack on titan or Cowboy Bebop ._.
One of my favorite PoPs from 2020 is the Venomized Human Torch glow in the dark and the Venom vs spider man. I love Venom and am a huge fan of the venomized line.

11:24 Yes, summoning frogs (to ride them or use them in battle) its one of Jiraiya's two main techniques :) . Maybe the only "but" it's that they didn't make him pose in his main frog. That one is actually really big (like a dragon), but instead they used one of his secondary frogs (I can tell because this one doesn't have a scar across his eye). But I guess then we would have the Gringotts-Dragon-issue, so I guess it's fine that way. Edit 11:46 About Kaguya, yes, she's so accurate and beautiful! It would take long to explain the thing in her sleeve, lol, so let's put it simple and say he is her son / creation. I would like to add a thing about her red eye. In the anime, it grew up, opening the skin in her forehead and making it look unnatural. Looking at the Funko, that's exactly the feel that you get when you look at the skin around her red eye. Honestly, the more that you look at this Funko, the more you realize how amazing it is.
Fun fact about when we got our jiraiya funko, when we walked into hot topic the cashier lady was already going on about how they just got more in and the whole time we were in there she was talking to some poor guy about how baby gaara is 😳
