When Evil Lurks has some exceptional horror scenes!!! The story though is abysmal. It’s absolutely worth watching even though the story seems incomplete and the characters make idiotic decisions that unleash complete hell on the Earth. When Evil Lurks COULD have been a Masterpiece but it has so many flaws!!!

"the characters make idiotic decisions" yea it's called being realistic and normal human behavior "the story incomplete" yes it is but i get some ppl wouldn't understand the story because it's a metaphor about rural argentina areas about farms (basically the movie has a political angle about farms and rural areas there that they took this idea and turned it into a horror story) when evil lurks is one of the best horror movies in 2023 oh and btw only the main guy make dumb decisions which effect others around him (even in the movie they hint that he tried to off his entire family rather than the wife leaving him and take the kids his brother say it's a rumor but his actions in the movie says it wasn't a rumor)
@@jhinkhada546 they always has been gore tho, or at least the two last ones, the series and the old ones were really gory too but less serious. I understand If it's not everyone cup of tea tho, they can be really disgusting and cruel and uncomfortable. I like them, but when I saw that the protagonists were literal children I thought they were going to tone it down a bit but nope, really icky but at least consistent.
Serioulsy ? Evil dead rise is pants . The orginals are great , the reboot wasnt bad BUT rise is just plain awrful . They changed the look of the necronomicon ffs and its daft , its got big stupid teeth on the side of it ? I like the " ash vs evil dead " tv series more than rise . Sorry , rant over 😂😂😂

I absolutely LOVED Scream 6 and M3GAN. My two favourite movies of this year, hands down. Had zero interest in watching M3GAN either when I first heard of it as I don't like killer doll movies but decided to check it out after seeing clips of it and seeing the trailer. I ended up loving every minute of it. Heard they're making a sequel and that it's coming out in 2025. I can't wait for the sequel. Cocaine Bear was also good. It was different but not that bad. Funny and scary at the same time. Probably wouldn't watch it again but I didn't mind it. Haven't seen The Boogeyman yet but I want to check it out someday. Looks pretty good. Might check it out for Halloween actually.

Spoilers *** I guess. The Bone woman was ridiculously underwhelming. Some cool scary scenes but then it just went into a woman deciding that she is indeed lesbian. Like what!? When it comes to horror the bone woman left PLENTY of MEAT on the 🦴
