When me and my family were in 50s Prime Time Cafe, my brother kept putting his elbows on the table so many times that one of the staff pulled him and his seat back to prevent him from putting elbows on the table again.😂😂😂😂😂
Love this list but also, would love to see a list about best immersive dining at the NON-park areas. I love the parks but the best dining I have found is typically outside the parks at the resorts 😊
Walt Disney World includes all of the resorts and Disney Springs... this list is a not a "Walt Disney World" list but a "WDW Parks" list... so the title is a bit misleading. Outside the parks the Hoop De Doo review and Whispering Canyon can easily be in the top two, far surpassing all of these listed here!
Isn’t your day just perfect when TPM Vids posts, a new video even if you’re having the worst day ever, he always manages to bring a smile to my face x and also I wish I had the money when me and my family went to Disneyland to be able to afford all of the lovely food at Disney, but the expense of it all is so much for something that you could get at a restaurant anyway, and it does add to the Disney magic but I was going to go to the ratatouille restaurant at Disneyland Paris and the food was so extortionate that we just couldn’t go, and I was so upset because I just wanted to experience the Disney magic of those restaurants, but I realise how expensive the food can be
6:57 I believe that's a reference to Minnie Moo, a cow located at the former petting zoo at Fort Wilderness. She had a Mickey Mouse-shaped pattern on her body which led Disney to purchase her from a farm in Minnesota.
My husband and I ALWAYS go to Primetime Diner when we’re at Hollywood Studios! The food reminds me so much of what my grandma made. We took my husbands sister, brother-in-law, and nephews to PTD and they were at a different table, coincidentally on the other side of the wall with “windows” next to us. We told our waitress we were the wacky “confirmed bachelors” who lived next door. Hey, it was the 50s!
You are sleeping on the canteen in Pandora. My sister and I went there for lunch one day when we had our annual passes, and we were thoroughly shocked and surprised how flavorful everything was. Relatively cheaply priced, for excellent soba. And the desserts were phenomenal. If you ever do another one of these, definitely try out the canteen in Pandora.
Be Our Guest is definitely one of my favorites! The first time my mom took my brother and I, I was seated with my back toward the music box and hadn't heard the Beast's announcement cause I was on the phone with my dad. I had gotten off the phone and was eating until I saw them just staring behind me and before I could turn, Beast plopped his hand on top of my head and scared the CRAP out of me 😂 He gave me a little apology hug and had the waitress bring me a special little grey stuff desert cause I was so startled lmao No matter what meal we go for, the ambiance is always 10/10 and I always recommend it whenever my friends tell me they're going!
The roundup rodeo experience was awesome. I was walking with a cast member and heard Andy’s coming and me and the cast member both dropped to the ground. Fun memory
When my family and I went to Florida in 2013, one of our favorite places was the 50’s diner. And they really do take it to another level, when my mom didn’t finish her green beans our waiter fed them to her. And they even had a kid go to the back to help do the dishes, it was such a unique and fun experience
I remember when me and my family ate at the 50s Prime Time Cafe us and some other people were asked by one of the cast members to name any Disney movies alphabetically and when she returned we had about most of them. It was a fun restaurant and would go again.
What an incredible lineup of immersive dining experiences at Walt Disney World! 🍽✨Thanks for compiling this comprehensive guide, TPMvids! Can't wait to explore these magical dining destinations on my next visit to Disney World.
We had an older auntie as a waitress who was a heavy smoker (by the raspy voice) and she just disappeared one time when we were there for lunch. A manager regular cast member attire had to finish out table and section. Don’t know what happened to the waitress.
We got back from Disney World last Saturday and experienced Be Our Guest for the first time. For me, the steak was amazing, but it all was too fancy of a meal. And every time I’ve gone to EPCOT, we’ve chosen Biergarten for supper and it never disappoints. The food is amazing, the cast member servers are wonderful, and the overall atmosphere there is incredible
I love Disney World! One of my favorite places on Earth to vacation to! I wanted to go here on my last vacation to Orlando last year during Xmas time, but my friend I was visiting told me it was way out of his budget and could not afford it. Luckily I could, but I did not want to go by myself. I told him that he should get a better job that pays him more if he expects to go there and gets his money’s worth. I did, however, get to spend the night at Disney Springs with another friend of mine who was already living there part time for the winter. Love everything about Disney!
I had anorexia when I went to Disney world with my family at 8-9 years old and I started having a meltdown when I had to eat food 😂, but it’s alright I’m fine and eating now and I’m grown out of it
9:52 i've been into that resturant, and speaking from my experience it was AMAZING. i loved the food there. the best part was the shows playing on the big screen. i remember that the show play on a loop. this diner is a MUST go-to. i've only been in there once and i loved every minute of it. i wish my parents could bring me in there again.
I’ve enjoyed meals at all of your choices except Roundup. We were scheduled to go there on our visit last week but we had to cancel because of illness. I think all of your choices were excellent. It’s been over 30 years since we’ve eaten at Germany. Your video has inspired me to add that to our list for our next trip. One of our favorites not included on this list is Tusker House. I would love to see a video on restaurants in the Disney Hotels. There are some excellent choices there as well.
When me and my family visited Disney World Hollywood Studios back in 2017, we ate at the Sci-Fi Dine In Restaurant. But sadly we were rookies because it was our first day there. So we didn’t get to eat at a car because we didn’t know you had to reserve a car, but the ambiance was so beautiful!
We really really liked Roundup Rodeo! We loved Crystal Palace too, and prefer those with buffets as we get more bang for our buck if we choose character dining.
And we always end up paying full meat prices when we get meatless 😩 and us solo people can’t even make use of getting the meat on the side for someone else!
It’s super worthwhile to mention that there are quite a few incredible restaurants in the Disney resorts as well as the parks! Oftentimes they can be even more memorable and a top tier value!
Skipper Canteen was my favorite. So much great theming and the cast members are great, punny, and quick-witted. If you’re willing to play along, 50s Primetime is a lot of fun, too. Both have good food, good times, and they were the ones that stand out in my memories.
This video definitely made me hungry, i wish i could eat one of those foods. In the meantime, have a happy sunday , TPM, take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well.
I enjoyed this video & have been fortunate enough to experience most of the restaurants mentioned. I don't know if these qualify as "themed," but I've always enjoyed the buffet at the restaurant in the Norway pavilion & the table hibachi at the restaurant in the Japan pavilion (both at Epcot).
Man the timing for this video is PERFECT! Im going to Magic Kingdom to celebrate the New Year and my family wanted to try ine of the restaurants. We decided to go for Be Our Guest and I told my family your visit. I SAY WE PICKED THE RIGHT CHOICE!!
Be Our Guest was the best food we had ….and the setting amazing…..totally agree with you. We had the filet, the trout almandine, escargot, kids meals…..fantastic! Our crew liked Tuskers too….but “Be Out Guest” in Beast’s Castle was special…..it was also $488 for 6 of us.
during my trip in 2021 my friend and I ate at Skipper's, Primetime, and Yak & Yeti. We were most impressed by Yak & Yeti of those three, with Skipper's falling just behind it. I've never been to Royal Table, Space, Rodeo BBQ or Biergarten, but I think that trip was still when Be Our Guest wasn't open as a table service and so we popped in for drinks and snacks or something to check the atmosphere out, and as for Sci Fi, I've been to it on multiple trips when I was growing up and went with my family.
Liberty Tree Tavern in Liberty Square is awesome!! The food is family style and it is like thanksgiving food! It’s one of our favorite restaurants when we go to Magic Kingdom! And OMG BIERGARTEN, SO GOOD! The performers were awesome and the food was amazing!!!!
@TPMvids I’m heading to Disneyland in 2024 and i hope to have lunch at Alien Pizza Planet and I would love to see your top 10 themed restaurants at Disneyland thanks very much DISNEY ROCKS!
Thank you for this video. My family will be visiting WDW next month. We have reservations for Roundup Rodeo BBQ and Be Our Guest, and we were already planning to visit Yak & Yeti. So excited!
I was lucky enough to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table last year during my Disney College Program with my friend, and it was a major highlight for me! Especially since I got to watch the fireworks show during my meal.
My family sat in the sci fi dine in for about 90 minutes great way to eat a meal and a nice break for your day 10/10 experience not great food but still good, if your planning to go to Disney I would make it a must
i’m a Universal die hard fan and will choose Universal over disney any day but one thing disney gets right is their immersive restaurants, pricing aside
