10. Sardines 9. Tempting Fate 8. To Have and To Hold 7. Bernie Clifton’s Dressing Room 6. Diddle Diddle Dumpling 5. The Riddle of the Sphinx 4. La Couchette 3. A Quiet Night In 2. Cold Comfort 1. 12 Days of Christine
Really enjoyed this. 12 Days of Christine and Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room are my personal favourites. I don't know how they manage to pack so much pathos into 30mins
I’ve watched every episode atleast 10 times,,, not an exaggeration and, the more i watch every episode, the more my favourite episodes switch. I love it. League of gentlemen and psychoville has been seen just as much :)
Me too! I love all 3 shows (slight obsession haha) and have watched them countless times. I also have the original LoG radio show on CD. I even binged watched all Inside No 9 just to find the hare! Love the crossover episode with psychoville in the new series!
1) Riddle of the Sphinx 2) Misdirection 3) 12 days of Christine 4) Sardines 5) Diddle Diddle Dumpling 6) A Quiet Night In 7) La Couchette 8) Tom and Gerri, 9) Devil of Christmas 10)To have and To hold. They're my top 10.
@@AaronattheMovies definitely, so far I don't think I've seen any videos that deep dive into any episodes outside of season 1, I think the twists or general themes and messages get a lot harder to interpret in later seasons and would love to see someone else's interpretation of what they were going for!
Spoilers S3 E6 Private View Private View is about the artist, Elliott, having donated his organs for transplant after passing away some time before. Each of the guests has received one of his organs. The only non recipient is the elderly Irish woman (Fiona Shaws character). She is in fact the late artist's mother who has set up the exhibition in order to bring those people there so she can take back her son's organs as she feels they are all undeserving. The final twist is Maurice (Reece), who had received the heart transplant, is shown exhibiting all the organs in jars and claiming it as his own art work which is receiving rave reviews and awards. The exhibition includes a heart. This must belong to the mother who he must have killed otherwise she would have killed him. That's my understanding of it, hope it makes sense!
could u do a spoiler filled review of some of these for people who’ve watched the show? my top 3 episodes would have to be: Bernie Clifton’s dressing room, A quiet night in, and The riddle of the sphinx
Dead line , 12 days of christine , once removed , sardines , misdirection , cold comfort , tempting fate , the seance , and bernie clifton's dressing room.
Ranked all 25 episodes from favourite to least favourite (imo): 1. The 12 Days Of Christine 2. The Riddle Of The Sphinx 3. Private View 4. Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room 5. Tom & Gerri 6. Tempting Fate 7. The Bill 8. Diddle Diddle Dumpling 9. La Couchette 10. Dead Line 11. Zanzibar 12. Once Removed 13. Sardines 14. The Understudy 15. Seance Time 16. Cold Comfort 17. Nana's Party 18. The Harrowing 19. To Have And To Hold 20. The Devil Of Christmas 21. A Quiet Night In 22. Last Gasp 23. And The Winner Is... 24. Empty Orchestra 25. The Trial Of Elizabeth Gadge
I agree with what you say except for the fact I would put deadline on top but you had to have watched it live to deserve it’s spot because of the sheer ingenius of the episode chosen to replace and the location it was “filmed at” The twist in the devil of christmas when the viewer comes to the realisation of a snuff film being viewed makes it deserve a higher spot two
Iron Maiden Feels really out of place compared to the other episodes as it takes place in a much older time period, plus the final twist involving Elizabeth herself seemed predictable
Have you managed to find the hare in all the episodes? I have found it in all but two episodes (and I know where it is in one of those but I didn't find it myself).
My top ten is made out of all the episodes I've watched so far 10: Misdirection 9:Simon says 8:Bernie cliftons dressing room 7:Diddle Diddle Dumpling 6:Lip Service 5:A quiet night in 4:The Twelve Days Of Christine 3:Cold Comfort 2:Deadline 1:Once Removed And this is my top ten worst: 10:Hurry Up And Wait 9:Wuthering Heist 8:The Referees a... 7:La couchette 6:Wuthering Heist 5:Thinking Out Loud 4:And the Winner is 3:The Understudy 2:Empty Orchestra 1:Last Gasp
I wish I saw Dead Line live as it would have floored me. I don't think I can give it a score as I did not view it the way it was meant to be experienced. It may have been my favourite if I watched it live but that title still goes to 12 Days of Christine
10. The Bill 9. The Stakeout 8. The Devil Of Christmas 7. Lip Service 6. Tom And Gerri 5. Love’s Great Adventure 4. Dead Line 3. Wuthering Heist 2. The Referee’s A W***er 1. The 12 Days Of Christine
I believe my personal 10 favourites (not in any particular order) are: Once Removed The Riddle of the Sphinx (currently I believe this is my favourite episode overall) Diddle Diddle Dumpling (I never really liked this one at first until I saw WeeLin's analysis of the episode which got me to look at the ending in a whole new light which really boosted the episode for me) Cold Comfort Dead Line La Couchette Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room A Quiet Night In The Devil of Christmas Nana's Party
@I LOVE KIP CLIPS I don't really know why but I just really like this episode. It isn't as dark or mysterious as some of the others but just something stands out to me about the utter implosion of the family unit, not to mention I think its one of the funnier episodes. Ive also got a bit of a soft spot for the Karaoke episode too.
for cold comfort. why did george kept posing as chloe to call the volunteers. if he needed someone to talk to he could have just talk to andy or victoria instead of stop talking and make it seem chloe died. also for nana party. did jim accidently slept with carol?
Diddle Diddle Dumpling is one of my favourites. So sad though 😢 Inside No 9 has made me she'd a few tears along with all the laughs. Such a wonderful, clever show.
I am obsessed with anything Reece and Steve create and give to us. Obviously, I'm super stoked about season 6 coming up in less than two weeks! Are you into any of their other work? Like The League of Gentlemen and Psychoville?
I'd have Christine in the top 2 - Sardines I love but I'd probably swap them (and then take Deadline to #2 and put Christine in its stead). Good vid Aaron.
