I took first place in a college talent show with Nailed It by Scott Alexander! Definitely one of the best closers! Love how Nick put his own spin on it with the funny sign.
As for “Russian roulette routines goes. Another version I find really interesting is “White Russian” by the other brothers. It uses shot glasses and acid. The convincers to show the acid is real are fun. Maybe not as suspenseful as the nail version but a fun safe substitute as well!
Great list! My closer I have found myself performing is usually either my Pokemon card to pocket routine (the one I ended my live act with) or my Chicago Closer. CC is great because I start my show with a blank deck of cards and CC allows me to end with blank cards kinda bringing everything full circle.
