'Danger Close' is as accurate portrayal on the 1966 Battle of Long Tan, you're ever going to see. ~100 Diggers v 3000 NVA and VietCong. I went to Battle ground and Nui Dat recently. (Dad 9Sqdn RAAF pilot '68) Vietnam and Vietnamese are amazing... go visit asap 🇦🇺🇻🇳
I know. This are modern movies many of them with CGI but there are movies from the past where all special effects were real like ONE BRIDGE TO FAR,THE LONGEST DAY ETC. 😊
I've watched all of those military action movies before in the past, except for Sisu (2022). I'll be sure to watch that one next. Thanks for the recommendation🙏!
The most underrated military movies......The Ambush, Megan Leavey, American Sniper, Behind Enemy Lines, Greyhound, Outside The Wire, Land Of Bad, Kilo Two Bravo, Kandahar, Sand Castle, Tears Of The Sun, The Siege Of Jadotville, The Patrol I have more list if you i can comment List of documentary, web series and movies let me know 👍👍
Have seen every movie in this list. For my opinion, the best of them are: 13 hours, Fury and The Outpost. Ryan and Black Hawk Down are classic today, they directed the others in the future... Top Gun is very nostalgic for me. Yesterday I watched it again on TV 🙂
Great list! Sisu is the only one I haven’t seen. If that made the list ahead of Act of Valor and We Were Soldiers, it must be really good. I will watch it this weekend. Thanks for the recommendation!
American Sniper (2014) - Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper as a real life Navy S.E.A.L. sniper Chris Kyle. It follows his life during and between several deployments, but the action scenes are great and the movie is really worth a watch in general.
@@heliummannen3095watched already kimmey operator is procudure for jsoc rescue operation and the last of end they were caught kept tunnel prison before airstrick
Apocalypse Now (original version), and Bravo Two Zero. .. However, there's a few more: Full Metal Jacket Platoon Jarhead Heartbreak Ridge Das Boot Catch 22 Where Eagles Dare The Dirty Dozen The Great Escape A Bridge Too Far The Longest Day Kelly's Heroes
The contractor was a really amazing movie with some pretty messed up unspoken truths to it. Any time you see Ben Foster in a movie, you can already rest assured it is gunna have some Amazing stuff that follows.

While military action movies based on true stories are my favorite genre, the movie Special Forces, starring Djimon Hounsou, is a great war movie and story.
@@ericvandruten Maybe another candidate for the list…. Duel - Enemy at the Gates. Based on a true story in WWII about a russian sniper. Also a great und underrated movie.
