I want a open world game like genshin impact. Weathering waves looks promising. Update: it needs optimisation and imo need to hire better writter cause the story is very boring. Don't try to download it if your phone is around 2 year old,you will just waste your 7gb data.
I tried ToF and I got really disappointed. It just immediately reminded me of all the bad parts I've leant how to put up with in Genshin. The battle system is terrible, with all those waves of enemies that pops out around you from nothing, heavily reliant of your stats and very little tactics. The gacha in this game seems simply pointless to me, because you are betting for some kind of stat stick, not a character you'd love to play. Add to that all the usual MMO-ish crap like daily login, claiming rewards for every move, constantly required internet connection, grind, and random players in your game. Unfortunately, even if it tries to compensate with the open world exploration, it still is not enough for me.
You will never beat Genshin, its all psychological. It came out during a rough time in the world. We all needed an escape from all the bad news and stress. 2020 was a different time, we explored Teyvat and made great memories. Genshin impact will always have a special place in my heart and I know others feel the same.
Let's not forget that first end game boss in Liyue. THEY HAVE NOT duplicated that since then. Remember when the gods gave you extra power to beat the god coming out of the water. BRO I've been waiting on an endgame experience like that since then.
Wuthering Waves gonnna be a huge competitor to Genshin. Base on what I heard from CN community, the one thing Wuthering Waves need to improve is only the story, then Genshin will start having a real competitor
@@tomas2818 Nah disagree. Genshin story has always been amazing, or it won't win so many awards in the last 2 years. But ofc I am talking about Archon quest though/
@@FireBlueZ I wouldn't say amazing, but the archon quests are good. The problem (and the reason so many people quit) is that the game is dragged down by unskippable filler conversations and an RNG grind that doesn't respect your time
@@johnhallowdont you realise that the only real necessary grind in genshin is getting to ar35? Anything besides that is brainded farming that doesnt do much besides give you bigger numbers, "instead of 3 tapping every enemy ill 1 tap them" kind of energy, get it?
I just want to be immersed again like the first time I played genshin impact. The story, the music, the animation was just so good that I didn't even know it was a mobile game 💀 and it's my first gacha game aswell cuz usually I don't play gacha games because it sucks in my opinion but I didn't even know what gacha game is back then. Still can't find a game that can give me the same feeling as genshin did. Tower of Fantasy? I didn't even pay attention to anything except the combat that's also bad and I just skipped everything. I couldn't care less about the story and music is eh it's okay I guess idk I didn't pay much attention to the music either which means it's not good enough.
Tbh both have their ups and downs. Genshin story flow is bullshit if you play it for quite a while, the thing about their design is that you will know instantly whats gonna happen 95% of the time playable chara won't fight you. At least ToF story is brave enough to put "surprise boss fight" against frigg and theo at the beginning of the game. If they are made by genshin devs those 2 boss fight will only be replaced by 30 sec cutscenes lmao
@@william_riku bro idgaf about surprise boss fight 💀cuz genshin quest, characters, animation, music and story is so much better. The first time I played Tower of Fantasy, my game bugged and the fuckin sound was mute so the cutscene was just silence 💀 my first impression of that game is already bad dude I'm not gonna play until I get a surprise boss or someshit. The first time I played genshin, it legit feels like I'm playing a 30 dollars game or probably more idk I'm not a game dev but the music, the animation, the characters and story was really hooking me in unlike ToF it's was a very polished game and not some rushed and buggy games that needs "time" to be better lol I ain't waiting.
I like Tower of Fantasy, but I don't like how it always lagging whenever login in. I got tired repairing it again and again so I stop it. I do hope they fixed the problem though so that I can play it. I fond of the characters I designed. I will miss them. 😢
You have to go into task manager and force quit gamebar presence writer. Many many games auto force that app to start and has a small body but destroys your pc. The second you end the app you can literally hear your pc calming down. There is no way I've found to actually end that application other than when it shows up check on the games you know force it open and quit it immediately and it stays gone until you launch another game. Anything related to Xbox will also auto run the app. Jjst close it and live your life
Tower of Fantasy is the game i play as opposed to Genshin. This game has the closest chance to outperform the genshin but fail to do so. Now my expectation goes for wuthering wave. But things you have to consider, mmorpg vs srpg difference. Keep in mind that.
Fucking ToF pisses me off so much. I really liked the combat but they did the details so badly, the thought of the game still pisses me off to this day.
The barrier that Genshin Impact inspired games are their grinding system and leadership. Most of the game features a Co-Op required grinding system that is impossible to do on solo. Even you are in Co-Op, thr game obligates you to top up so that you the grinding will gonna be less harder. The let down is since the grindings are Co-Op required, if you are a newbie on the advanced server, there are no one who gonna help you. Younhave to join to a newst server. Genshin grindings are doable on solo intentionally and you don't need Co-Op so much except for Weekly Boss which we do once a week.
@@mihaelatrpevski3857 Don't be so hard on them. You know Genshin took it's inspiration from Zelda. Every game takes its inspiration somewhere and that's the beauty of it, we get to have some incredible games sometimes
@@P.honeY_ bro if ur talking aby the gameplay mechanics such as: walking, running, climbing, swimming and the scenery. How the hell are you supposed to make an open world game?? Just stop and think for a sec..
I heard the same words players telling "tower of fantasy is gonna be the genshin killer" but it never happen kinda sad for tower of fantasy making too many servers and alot of players left forcing the devs to merge servers to try and save the game xD
@@quochuyduong9421I don't think so. Recently people have been leaving genshin and there isn't really any hype around Foutain as it was for Sumeru or Inazuma. Edit: minor nitpick*people. You spelled it wrong.
Genshin is actually the only open world gacha that people really enjoy when big patch is coming. They are attach to the story and characters even if wuthering waves or anything else comes out. They must have a good story and good character design Hoyoverse has really colorful/uniqueand appealing Design. It's very hard to beat them in their own field@@Beeeeeewwwww
@@quochuyduong9421 Well yeah they're going to be at the top but their open world revenue might decrease since even though it's the same company Hsr is taking in all the new and old players alike. They will get the attention and such from people who want eye catching visuals but that almost it. Pretty visual. And that won't last long perhaps. Wuthering Waves could bring something new to the table of open world gacha RPGs( aside from tof they've actually been bettering themselves). Even then however everyone is well aware that they won't be the top but most likely number 2 behind Genshin.
There is actually one in the game Wuthering Waves called „Yuanwu“! :3 If you like characters with facial hair, consider checking out the game to it‘s release! It looks really amazing
The main reason why no other Genshin clones or similar games WONT EVEN COME CLOSE to genshin is its budget.. Genshin's profits are in the $2B+, So they invest atleast $100M+ in making genshin better.. the music, the design, the voice actors, the Trailer, the promotion etc etc....the Big budget simply cant be beaten by small developers.... and good to see they are trying their best.
No way you put WW at 2 with ToF at one💀💀 Although it isn’t out yet, it’s def better “competition” to GI than ToF. Considerably, Kuro Games, from what I’ve seen, aren’t douches like those from the developers of ToF. Ain’t no wayyyy
I love tower of fantasy the only problem is their story quests are too short for me I like a long story but that’s just a personal preference lol I am lvl 90 on there I believe
The best games that are very similar to Genshin Impact are Stella Fantasy, Manasis Refrain, Crystal of Atlant, Dawlands, The Legend of Neverland, Wuthering Waves, and Tower of Fantasy. The most similar to Genshin are Stella Fantasy and Tower of Fantasy.
Legend of neverland basically came from an old and shut downed mmorpg mobile game where 80% of it's gameplay mechanics where still used until now to Legend of Neverland. Treat it as an remake upgrade.
This video title said Mobile games. But why you included the non-mobile game like Stella Fantasy in? I had been searching for it like crazy, 'til I read your description which's saying its as a PC game!
Why Genshin is getting all the credit? 😭 The game is not so original tho. Dont get me wrong, I love the game but should credit something like Breath of the wild
because Zelda : Breath of the wild is not cross platform game and not all people have nintendo switch to play Zelda : Breath of the wild. and we can see all the game on the list is open world + gacha + free, meanwhile Zelda : Breath of the wild is open world game without gacha element + you need to buy it to play the game.
As a genshin player, try and take a look on *Wuthering Waves* it's the best fr. They have better exploration characters plus if you're the type of person who focuses on combat gameplay instead of storyline you can SKIP the story if you're on a rush or just don't like long dialogues. Their combat game play is also have a faster movements rather than genshin (it's kuro afterall their combats and bosses r always good 🔥) It's not even a disappoinment, it's actually very good for a new game (Their storyline is still under development it's a new game afterall, so if you're gonna say it's boring just wait first, like how you wait after finishing zhongli's and raiden's quest 💀💀)
I want a game with single character gameplay and rpg also the system will be similar to those action manhwas like solo leveling and stuff that allows players to fight in domains or go up in towers with a single character and get items for themselves from the stages or the monsters and they can change their weapons or maybe even their roles... Maybe it's too much ok but is there no such a game? I mean after all these type of manga and manhwas there should be something right? Or I need to become a game developer myself to finally play such a game?
Actually I think I can suggest you one. Though I don’t think its much like Genshin, its actually still pretty cool. You should try Epic Conquest 2. It can be played offline and it has almost everything you stated here, except the changing roles and weapons one. I’m not sure if there are towers though (Last time I played it was last 2019) but here are some more things I can add: -It is a solo levelling game(?) -I think it can be considered as an open world game -Lower quality though, but still good -Some levels may be harder than you expect -cute characters -A story game -A single-player game Yeah try it first though. I hope you’ll like it as much as I did
Guys i just brought a 128 gb redmi tab can i run genshin smoothly in it ? I dont wanna wait tho like additional data downloading every time i open the game :')
@@arvinolivarez8471 well the SSR rating of the Genshin lore is an overstatement, because I'm sorry but the story of Honkai Impact 3rd is WAY better but the graphics and visuals can't be beaten
Wait, what is this sorted by? Tower of Fantasy at No. 1 seems quite questionable considering how much it dropped, literally causing the game to plan a complete overhaul in the near future xD
Discovering Tower of fantasy was quite something , especially when you look at the lastest cutscenes today Holly Lord … Hoyoverse should be worried about it s buisness !
Some reminded me, not of Genshin, another games, like PSO, or order and chaos 2 redemption and other titles. That has some green environment or some places look like Sumeru or Chasm, doesn't mean Genshin to me.
