You said it at 9:05 that there's a few coasters that you expect/know will be great but the memorable moments are when you get a surprise one that blows you away. I've had a few of them over the years including Kraken at Sea World, TN Tornado at Dollywood, Shockwave at SFOT, and Twister at Knoebles. As for my favorite coaster dash memory from 2022 it has to be the Kings Island vlog and ranking video because it was my home park....and because when I started watching the channel I couldn't believe Marc had never visited. Favorite moment from the vlog was "where are we going" and "what is it doing" from the Beast ride. I had a good chuckle about that one. Can't wait for some more great moments in 2023!
Fiesta de Mágico at Parque de Atracciones was something, stumbling upon a Faire in Nancy-where I had already planned to break up my train trips between Europa Park and Lyon (and from there, Walibi Rhône-Alps) and riding a Chance Toboggan which wasn’t as bad as what people say about the one in Wisconsin and I’m like 6ft. Also every boomerang I rode this year fought for being my favorite Vekoma (it mostly goes between Stunt Fall for its sheer intensity and Jolly Rancher Remix for being a smooth and uniquely themed experience-although the Bayern Curve at the Foire du Nancy had stronger smell pods fitting the candy-based adds plastered on their Gadgetbahn and other places around town
Hi Marc, thanks for making so much great content this year! Sorry for my curiosity but if you don't mind me asking, around how much did your Europe trip cost in total? I'm just curious if I decide to take a similar trip in the future.
Thanks for the support! I really appreciate it. It’s tricky to answer that question since we bought things as we went, and didn’t purchase all trip expenses at once. I’d budget around $5,000 but if you take a shorter trip you could probably get away with doing it at a budget of $2,500.
@@CoasterDash Yeah, Paris has a different layout (sometimes called “backwards” version), it's really beautiful, and has a few extra scenes. While the Anaheim, Tokyo, and Orlando versions are somewhat copies of each other, Paris was designed to be an improvement. I think these changes make Paris the best "classic" pirates, but, I admit, as a European, I might be biased 😄
Hey buddy congrats on the fantastic year in coaster riding and traveling! That's what life's all about. I watched a couple of your videos when they first released, your Holiday World VLOG in particular as that is one of my home parks. Just wanted to say you've quickly become one of my favorite coaster tubers. Up there with Airtime Thrills, Coastoons, Canobie Coaster, Park Pros, Park Bros and East Coasters. Of course Coaster Studios is great too. If you get back out my way this year and want a local to hit up Indiana Beach with shoot me a DM on Twitter at Hoosier Rail Riders. Here's to 2023!🍻
