The humans are so dumb for bringing Kong on water. Godzilla is obviously gonna sense Kong and try to kill him. And not only that but the humans sedated Kong so they screwed Kong's chances even more during that fight. That's one thing that bothers me in the MonsterVerse. When the humans make the dumbest choices.
Godzilla vs. Kong took monsters fights to the NEXT LEVEL. The graphics, the backgrounds, the choreography, the camerawork, the sound effects; don't get me wrong, the other movies had these qualities as well. GvK just perfected them. This movie is just magnifique 😙👌
I gonna say Godzilla and King Kong vs MechaGodzilla is the most epic,awesome and incredible fight ever in the movies of Monsterverse and is a masterpiece
When I saw King Ghidorah's head in the end credits, I thought we were going to see Mecha-King Ghidorah. But using it as a machine to control Mecha-Godzilla, well that was different and a little confusing.

Well the new qraphics and the way of fighting was quite new but the fight between Godzilla and ghidora was magestic it was like two gods were fighting and sound effects were on par and mothra and Rodan made the fight more good...
@@SmileyBoiEXE Yeah I just got it in the mail yesterday actually. Its still a little dark during their battle but you can make out the fights now so its all good the 4K release did that movie a lot of justice.
Normally I would agree, but then there’s Captain America saying “avengers assemble” that fans had been waiting 11 years for him to say. That’s the best scene in cinema history
I love the detail where the craft shoots at Kong trying to escape and then he caught it, he first looked deep inside to make sure the girl was not there. then BOOM.
Still one of my favorite scenes was Godzilla roaring right in Kong's face and Kong roaring back at him. And before when Godzilla grins when he hits Kong with his atomic breath
If they ever make another monster movie, maybe Mothra will come back. They did show a picture of another Mothra egg being found in the news papers during the end credits.
@@_T0AST_ it kind of was a draw. I will not be biased I refuse to because I love Godzilla and kong but here is how it went. Water fight (fight one): Godzilla claps Kong. 1 point Godzilla. Hong Kong fight one: Kong wins after knocking Godzilla’s into a building making Godzilla unconscious Hong Kong fight two: Godzilla gets up and beats kong (I love the part where they yell at each other!) Godzilla wins Mechagodzilla vs Godzilla and kong. Godzilla was getting stomped on because he had just fought kong. But then kong saved Godzilla’s life and kills mechagodzilla. So I mean I guess it would be 2-2. If you call saving Godzilla’s life a win.
Great warriors are known to do something like that, when they want to keep fighting. How about the time the Scorpion King pulled out an arrow from his back just to fire it at Memnon? My mom was creeped out about that scene, and told me never to do something like that in real life.
That moment the humans think your spats with your rival/bro is a Great War... The end of the Kong VS Godzilla fight had a serious "So...same time next year, loser?" vibe...
Kong never surrendered tho. Roared back, tried to get back up. "Im willing to die rather than bow." Godzilla was just merciful. The whole purpose of kong is that he doesnt bow and he shows that. So yea kong lost but he never surrendered
True, I am not a Kong fan but I understood that that Kong did not surrender to godzilla, and like you said Godzilla understood and liked it and left him alive
Yes he did, Kong did surrender, at the end when they killed MGodzilla, Godzilla started coming at Kong again, Kong looked at the axe in his hand and dropped it, Godzilla then said Thats right and dont make me come back
As much as I loved GvK I still like KOTM more. While the fact I saw KOTM in IMAX while I watched GvK at home may have helped that but while GvK had some epic moments I won't lie but the pure feeling of child-like giddiness I felt when watching KOTM still hasn't been topped. Ghidorah, Rodan's and Mothra's awakening, the entire Boston fight, and Burning Godzilla are moments that will live on forever in my Kaiju nerd brain.

@An Angry Ninja Yeah, as much as GvK had epic moments, epic battles, KOTM was Awesome, ghidorah, rodan, mothra, the battles, everything is so cool, but GvK is also really epic and cool

My personal favorite combo move was when they each grabbed an arm and rammed mechagodzilla through a building. Mostly because charging the axe had no need for communication. Godzilla gave him power, Kong used that power. But when they both were in sync with the building, there was unspoken experience they both showed. "There's a building. Let's put his head through it."
This isn’t really a fight but my favorite moment in the whole monsterverse Has to be when Mothra protected Godzilla from Ghidora. Seeing the Queen protect the King was EPIC
Its the final fight of Godzilla vs King Ghidorah for me. I grew up watching the Big G fighting his arch nemesis in the old movies. Seeing it brought alot of good memories.

I just hope legendary pictures will make more monster-verse movies and The Director of the first pacific rim stated that he would love to see a crossover between Godzilla and Pacific Rim maybe you guys can talk about that in the next video
That director would have to go through legendary first to try to land a collab deal, then afterwards get the okay from Toho which I don’t think they will give, only because toho doesn’t want another “Godzilla” 97 disappointment. & plus it doesn’t stick to Godzilla’s routes
I love how Godzilla seems to go from long range fighter to 'enough is enough' in their second fight, and just went beast mode on Kong. Usually, he seems more calculated in his fighting style, going for more punches, tail slaps, and atomic breath, but when Kong pissed him off, he went down to all fours and just tore shit up.
Yeah, It feels like in the second fight kong was holding a grudge after round 1, while godzilla was more like "this has nothing to do with you anymore"
@@boltzgaming4280 Pacific Rim isn't part of the MonsterVerse, the director wants them to be, but they haven't decided yet, personally I hope they aren't, it makes the Titans so much more badass when humanity doesn't have much to match them in strength with.

My Favourite fights 1) Godzilla(2014) Final battle. 2) Kong skull Island- Kong entry fight and final battle. 3) Godzilla king of Monsters - Final Battle. 4) GvK - No doubt all battles😁 especially the final battle were two legends fights with mechagodzilla.

Haha you think so? Honestly Rodan doesn’t pose much of a threat to Ghidorah due to his lack of abilities. In terms of size, Ghidorah’s sheer mass surpasses every Kaiju so far, has gravity beams, and can make storms just by him being present. Rodan kinda stood no chance
@@mgutierrez097 agreed! rodan just lack abilities to battle out against a kaiju of ghidorah’s level but i would like to have them fought a little bit longer. aerial battle scene would be awesome if todan uses some maneuver and avoid or snipe ghidorah for a vrief moment before getting captured and blasted by gravity beam. i wish they gave rodan beam or something. mothra even has different forms which makes her powerful while rodan has nothing . rodan and kong has the same issue but kong is slightly better since he has intelligence on his side.
@@mgutierrez097 he has supersonic speed and faster than Ghidorah and he did withstand the beam to a certain extent. More than qualified to have a battle.

I think Godzilla was overpower in the movie. No way he could have used his atomic breath so much consecutively compared to the previous movie against Ghidorah
