Remarkable what Orient puts out in quality and cost. No they're not perfect nothing is. At present my Triton is out for repair, the original store screwed it up, so sent it off, they're doing a complete over haul, almost could have bought another but it has sentimental value and still saved a few dollars over new, has a perfectly sized strapecode in itself saves frustration. Did buy a Mako II USA for $200 in white. And ordered another in black (what was left from the sale) to be given as a gift.

Have an older Mako II and all black Raven . Love them at the time, and noting wrong with them. Just don't need so many. A long with the above mention, have a Kamasu in red, a Kano and a Bambino in anthracite for the few times I have to get dressed up,

I really like that PVD finished one with the carbon fiber dial but 46mm is insane, even for me and I prefer a bigger watch, but when I say bigger I mean around 42mm , not 46 😂

Not sure I understand the obsession with open heart watches. They make an otherwise beautiful watch, ugly. At least they seem to be done with 21mm lugs.

Hi brother, I am actually new fan of Orient. I was wondering about the text behind the watch : some of them "Movement Japan" and some others printed "Made In Japan". Are the "Movement Japan" varians not Assembled in Japan?

Be careful. I purchased an Orient in December and within 6 months it was either speeding up or slowing down by 3 to 4 minutes a day. I hate being late and this watch caused me a few problems. Stuff happens, so I contacted the manufacturer a couple of times and I never received a response or even an acknowledgement. Eventually I asked Amazon, who supplied the watch for help. They were tremendous and although they said Seiko/Epson (the manufacturer) were being difficult they would arrange a refund. You learn by experience.

If they were swiss made, they would be ten times the price. Orient are the best kept secret among mechanical watch fans but with all these youtube videos, the cat is slowly coming out of the bag. Buy now before it's too late..

Orient, please make 36mm cases in you watches. Large, wall clock style cases no longer get the attention of people. It may even ridicule or smile at your wall clock ob your wrist..waiting for your 36mm cases!
