Lefkada is a gorgeous Greek island sitting in the Ionian Sea. It's one of the few Greek islands that's fully accessible by car, connected to the mainland by a little bridge. I love Greece and I was a frequent visitor who always stayed at hotels in Greece, at least 60 days each year. But I will not visit Greece until the documents about Covid, and all the questions about vaccines and also all restrictions will be removed. See you in 1 year! Or 10 years? It's up to you, dear Greeks! The very best of the bests!

Great video . I’ve just been to Parga on the main land and loved it. Is another name for Lefkada, Lefkas?. Where on the island is the best place to stay?… beaches, traditional, villages , tavernas. Thanks and keep vids coming💥

Lefkas is the name of the capital city. Don't worry you will find everything you want. Lefkada has to offer beaches tavernas traditional villages and more :)

Lefkada is the name in modern (demotic) Greek spoken today. In katharevousa (the version of the Greek language used until the 18th century, before demotic and which was directly derived from ancient Greek, it was called Lefkas. The name of the island and its capital is the same, which is the case for many Greek islands. Some older signs and maps still use Lefkas instead of Lefkada. Many other words and names have both a demotic and a katharevousa version, for example, Triada/Trias, pateras/patir, etc, although katharevousa is rarely used today and not taught in schools anymore.

Ausser in spanien hat man die natur und architektur gelassen wie es war. In spanien ist fast jede kueste MIT tuermen verbaut . Lefkada ist sehr schoen und nahe am festland

@@TheTravellingFoot western side of the island is full of only fine sand beaches ⛱️!!! You will find some rocky ones, only in the eastern side of Ĺefkada! Happy Holiday 🏖🌞

@@user-pj1gk4oh4f sorry but I'm in Lefkada island now and I've already been to a lot of beaches in the western part and the beaches are full of white peebles and no white sand😑
