A 2D game isn't necessarly a platformer...

A platformer that I recommend is Gravity Circuit 👍 It has a Mega Man feel to it and it pays homage to the 2D platformer games of the 90s!

I enjoyed this video pretty well, but the clip for Shredder's Revenge, which I don't understand as a platformer, showed approximately zero platforming.

Dude... How do you make these videos without even checking the games yourself? Right there, on 22 second of the video - you actually don't play as "a famous Persian prince". 2:55 - it's not a platformer, it's a beat 'em up.

Only the last 2 would be considered platformers. They're called platformers because they focus largely on precision jumping between... platforms.

Prince of Persia lost crown isn't a platformer. It's a MetroidVania. This guy needs to do his homework before putting out these videos 🤦🏽‍♂️

Please Nintendo for your next console we need Warhammer , nfs heat , UFC , Star wars the new ones , and about 300 more aaa games anything else is a failure , and I'll just keep my own Nintendo for on the go Hulu. Hate Nintendo so far behind . When they had so much potential.
