What about Soriah’s on 13th? It’s really delicious with a bent on Mideast flavors. They have excellent wines and a full bar. It’s a staple of Eugene.

I really enjoy Tacovore my wife is vegan I’m a meat eater but they have both for us cool vibe, and the Margaritas are awesome.

I live in Eugene but have Celiac disease so it is hard to eat out and feel safe. Tasty Thai is a great option.

Isakaya Meiji. It is a unique experience, Japanese tavern style food and American whiskey.

@@CarolynSteppSmartLiving The owners are the son and the daughter-in-law of friends of mine. It’s not a mainstream type of restaurant, to fit in a top 10 list, while at the same time it fits into a few of the cultural areas that make Eugene interesting. I mean, the restaurant draws customers from beyond its neighborhood. And even beyond Eugene.

Rye on 3rd St., Laughing Planet, Silva’s Taqueria Autentica Comida Oaxaquena food truck in Friendly neighborhood, Royal India near Valley River Center.

My #1 goes to Placido’s Pasta Shop x) Honorary mentions to Bar Purlieu and Rye on 3rd. As for Springfield- George and Violets steakhouse takes the cake!

Someone recently told me Cafe Soriah had great steak, however there are always the classic chain restaurants like Texas Roadhouse

I'm surprised you didn't have Cornbread Cafe on your list. Yeah, it's all vegan, but you wouldn't know the difference. The old diner atmosphere is awesome there and the staff is wonderful in my experience.
