Germany definitely has some great coasters.

I would have liked to see Fluch von Novgorod or Schwur des Kärnan but I pretty much like the rest of the list👍

I’m surprised that colossos wasn’t on here tbh but certainly not surprised Taron was number 1. That ride look so good and I can’t wait to ride it one day

I really miss Kärnan in your list. In my opinion, its by far the best Roller Coaster experience in Germany. Nevertheless, again a good video!

Silver Star is fun! Went on it when it was fairly new 😁. Need to get back to Europapark and Phantasialand, as I haven't been for a while, and there's loads of new rides I haven't been on yet. Europapark is like home to me, as I lived/worked there for a few years. It definitely has a place in my heart 😊💖

Here is my Top 10 list: 1st place: Kärnan (Still after 43 german coasters my favorite for its crazy intensity; in Hansa Park) 2nd place: F.L.Y. (This Flyer by Vekoma is just stunning, from all aspects; in Phantasialand) 3rd place: Taron (this World Record Coaster by Intamin is just insane from all aspects; in Phantasialand) 4th place: Black Mamba (Insanely good Inverted B&M, which lives from its pacing and all the Near-Misses; in Phantasialand) 5th place: Colossus (My favorite Woodie in Germany, by far; in Heide Park) 6th place: Flucht von Novgorod (one of a kind Euro-Fighter with an intense launch and amazing indoorsections; in Hansa Park) 7th place: Hals über Kopf (brilliant Vekoma STC which also interacts nicely with the Boomerang; in Tripsdrill) 8th place: Karacho (brilliant Gerstlauer Launched Infinity Coaster, i just love it; in Tripsdrill) 9th place: Wodan (Amazing GCI Woody, with perfect pacing; in Europa Park) 10th place: Flug der Dämonen (brilliand unique Wing Coaster with 5 great Inversions; in Heide Park) if someone is interested, here are places 11 to 20 11th place: Blue Fire Mega Coaster (this Launched coaster is quite underrated, i also love the last Inversion; in Europa Park) 12th place: Star Trek Operation Enterprise (heavily themed Mack Triple Launch coaster, with great hangtimeinversions; in Movie Park) 13th place: Silver Star (This B&M Hyper is a bit boring, at least the first half, also some more theming would have helped; in Europa Park) 14th place: Krake (Germany first and still only Dive Coaster, with an amazing first Drop into the maw of the Krake; in Heide Park) 15th place: Nessie (The oldest Looping Coaster in Germany, with a forceful loop and a strong ejector airtime moment; in Hansa Park) 16th place: Colorado Adventure (literally one of the best Vekoma Mine Trains out there; in Phantasialand) 17th place: Mammut (Nice Familywoodie; in Tripsdrill) 18th place: Van Helsing Factory (The theming is stunning. i think this is the best Gerstlauer Bobsled coaster out there; in Movie Park, Ger.) 19th place: Winjas Fear & Force (i rank this as one, but i count it as 2 credits, since both have seperate tracks; in Phantasialand) 20th place: Crazy Bats (*with* VR) (usally not a big fan of VR, but this VR is amazing; in Phantasialand) I have not ridden Expedition GForce yet, as well as some other german coasters, but i will do next year. And i think Expedition GForce will at least be in my top5

It's pretty tough to choose a top 10 in Germany. But here it is. 1 Taron 2 Expedition GeForce 3 blue Fire Megacoaster 4 F.L.Y. 5 El Toro 6 Karacho 7 Hals-über-Kopf 8 Flug der Dämonen 9 Black Mamba 10 Dynamite - My rides on Schwur des Kärnan in autumn 2019 were quite rough and a disapointment. - The first part of Colossos - Kampf der Giganten is good. But that slow helix ruined the experience. - It has been since 2017 that i visited Europa-Park. My expectections for Wodan were too high. Maybe with a new visit and the right expectations Wodan will end up in the top 10. I'm not a Silver Star fan. - Freizeitpark Plohn has two great coasters and they deserve more attention. Go visit that park! - Honorable mention for Arthur, but it's more a dark ride with coaster sections than other way around.

Okay is your Taste. For my taste I would recommend Heide Park - Colossos, Phantasialand - Colorado Adventure, On Streetsfairs Oscar Bruchs - Olympia-Looping too.

So glad you're doing a top 10 favourite coaster vlogs, especially with all the rides statistics, especially the rides hight and speed and length, plus all the track layout, inversions etc , it really shows your research and knowledge, I just wish other theme bloggers would do the same, its all good to show us the ride, but I can never understand why they give us a quick breakdown of the ride stats, after all isint that the most important part of the ride, apart from the experince, would love to know your thoughts on this, but for us In enthusiast, this I feel is vital information, thanks and I hope you keep up this going forward🙏, so professional btw👍😉

Everyone’s asking about Karnan and Novgorod, but I’m wondering why you don’t have a different ride in here; how come Colossos at Heide Park didn’t make it, out of interest? Your Heide Park vlogs seemed to paint a mostly very positive opinion of it from yourself, so I’ll admit that I’m surprised that Colossos didn’t make it in. I haven’t ever been to Germany, though, so I’m not sure I’m really at liberty to determine how the coasters there compare with one another. Also, I’d be intrigued to know; have you ranked every roller coaster you’ve ridden, Shawn, or close to that? Only asking because you seem to have a fairly firm idea of your top 10 coasters in a number of different countries, as well as your coaster rankings at different parks and the rides that only just missed out on being in the country top 10s. I rank every coaster I’ve ridden, although it’s reasonably simple for me compared to some, with my coaster count of 74; I can’t imagine it would be easy with your coaster count, so kudos to you if you do! Sorry to bombard you with questions, Shawn; these are just some things I’d be very intrigued to know!

Did my first trip to Germany in 2020 and went to 3 parks, hoping there's something I missed in this video from somewhere other than movie park, phantasialand and ofcourse europapark. I live in the Netherlands so this video might inspire a summer road trip!

Wow, thats really kind of a weird list but I guess you definately prefer B&Ms over Gerstlauers and also like more themed rides better. Really strange to miss out on the two fantastic coasters at Hansa Park, especially Kärnan is just an incredible intense experience. Being a german myself I would say: 1) Schwur des Kärnan, Hansa Park 2) Taron, Phantasialand 3) Blue Fire, Europa Park 4) Fluch von Novgorod, Hansa Park 5) Wodan, Europa Park 6) Black Mamba, Phantasialand 7) Colossos, Heide Park 8) Olympia Looping 9) Silverstar, Europa Park 10) Flug der Dämonen, Heide Park I still need to ride Fly and visit Holiday Park and Tripsdrill.

Great to see Flug der Dämonen on there. It's a very underrated coaster, probably the best wing coaster in Europe. That said, I have to ride Colossos again... I rode it a few times pre-refurbishment and found it to be abrasive and inelegant. I left that park thinking Flug der Dämonen was better. I probably misjudged it.

I don't know that anyone noticed it but you go true the mouth of a dragon if you ride taron. One of the rocks got the shape of a huge dragon.

I love these type of videos! Germany is an amazing country if you look at their parks and coaster line-up! Going to visit Europapark and Phantasialand this year if Covid is okay so I can keep on riding!

My top 3 are: 1. Expadition G Force 2. Colossos Battle of the Giants 3. Kärnan

I thought Fluch von Novgorod or Schwar das Karnan would be in the list but I think the list is pretty good and I really want to go to Europe and Germany to ride so many good coasters because I live in Brisbane and my home park is Movie World

Have been to Germany a few times, but unfortunately have never been to any of their theme parks. However, Phantasialand is totally top of my list. Taron, Black Mamba, and F.L.Y. all look like absolutely world-class coasters, the fact all three are in the same park is unbelievable. Really have to give kudos to the park management and creative team for such an awesome line-up of rides. Reckon either Black Mamba and/or Taron have the potential to topple Nemesis from my number 1 spot! And that's not even mentioning the other rides. Always thought Winja's Fear/Force looked like a great laugh, and as a fan of water rides, Chiapas is also top of my to-do-list. So yeh, as a park, it's certainly calling out my name!! But anyway great video as usual, and really looking forward to your next countdown. Keep up the good work :-)

I like how opinions are so different. My top 10would be: 1. Kärnan 2. Silverstar 3. Taron 4. Black Mamba / FLY equal 6. Wodan 7. Colossos 8. Bluefire 9. Fluch von Novgorod 10. A few, probably desert race and karacho will be here. Also old Eurosat has a special place in my heart. Sadly I wasnt on Expedition Geforce yet, so cant judge that one. Also, Unpopular opinion: Taron wasnt as good as everyone says, at least for me. Second launch is an absolute banger, but it feels to me like if something's missing on the coaster.

Great video - definately the best top 10 so far. Taron had to be number one as it’s just so far ahead of anything else based on both theming and ride experience. Great to see a big shoutout for Expedition g-force as I had no idea it was such a great coaster.

Thanks for this fantastic collection. Just to give you some additional details: Expedition was named best rollercoster of the word for 6 times. ( Roller Coaster Poll, 2002 - 2005 and 2012 - 2013) and had been 189 times the best steel roller coaster in Europe" „ Stahlachterbahn Europas“ (Amusement Today, 2002 - 2019) - this data come from the park website and it is quite known in Germany, but not promoted too much to the outside, I agree.

Really nice list. Miss some rides, but however it's a personal view. I totally agree with Wodan! It's by far not the fastet and the highest wooden coaster, but one of the best worldwide.

I largely agree with your list, aside from my #1 would be Karnan - incredible, incredible coaster. I would push Blue Fire just out (as fun as it is!), Karacho would be well out, and Freischutz might just make the list. I agree about Silver Star - it's one of those that grows on you over the years! Heisse Fahrt is super too, but again probably not quite good enough to make it, even if for what it is - it's super!

Can you do a video of your favourite b&m flying coasters and also b&m coasters of different types wing coaster/stand up/ sit down/ floor less/dive/hyper&giga/inverted. This is my favourite manufacturer as well. I've also had the thrill of riding all 3 b&ms at alton towers a good few years back. But I would love to see top 10 vids specifically on b&m models

dude, do you know the Hansa Park in nothern Germany? definitely you should put the "curse of Nowgorod" coaster or "the The vow of Kärnan" coaster into your top ten :D. I mean, 97 degree drop and from 0-100 in 1,4sek. thats incredible :D
