the best part about imaan's walk is that she doesn't look like she's pissed off and doesn't wanna be there. i get it's kind of standard in the catwalk world but it's a dumb standard. I hate when models look like their parents forced them to be there
the 90's models (still unrivalled, in my opinion) were all big smiles and really made you want the clothes, the vibe, everything. In most recent years the 'straight' face was supposed to 'erase' the model and enhance the look - but it turned to having a bitch face instead.

@@sommerleelester Sommerlee Lester naaah. They look like robots to me. Models today have nothing on the supermodels of the 90's. That's why its so exciting to see personalities like imaan, adut and kaia. They were the ones that were memorable on this list.
Me too. Adut walked really nicely, Sora walked in a way that made the clothes flow around nicely, and Imman had a walk and expression that made her look like she owned the runway and left me very impressed

@@Jaybandz1540it’s control. The best walkers of the 20th century had still shoulders. Yasmin, Kaia, they are like a seesaws, good for the street, not the runway. Adut is easily the best walker on this list
Mariah&WhitneyLamb I’m no expert but I’d actually prefer runway models compared to insta models, they’re amateurs (it’s my own opinion don’t attack me) and they focus more on digital capture and aesthetic, same can be for runway models but more “professional”
There's a commercialism to many of these girls that I don't necessarily find interesting, but thank god they're bringing some personality back to the runway.
Honestly, Cara Taylor slays them all. Adut has an amazing body, Sora an interesting facial expression but Cara's walk is impeccable. Her and Imaan should share the first spot.
I love Cara Taylor, too. I used to think she was cold because she never smiles. Then, I saw a profile of her on YT. She's a sweet little chatterbox! Total 180°. My favourite is Yasmin Wijnaldum. She can be anyone.

Imaan Hammam is unbelievable but surely Naomi walked in enough shows this year to qualify? She is still easily the best walker in the business when she chooses to do a show.

Im sure these new girls are great but still cant get over the late 90s and early 2000 girls!! Natasha, vlada, hana, isabeli, maria carla, eugenia, daria, etc. I never see anyone new now who has that same fierceness as they do. 😻
I came here after watching videos of Naomi Campbell walk...most of these women seem bland and heavy footed in comparison. Imaan seemed to inject a little flair into her walk, as did Adut.
All of them are insanely good. Kendell, Bella and Gigi need to go home!!! Wow i am shook how Bad those three actually are compared to real runway models
can i just give a shout out to Birgit Kos ,Camille Hurel ,Jessie Bloemendaal , Faretta ,Mayowa Nicholas ,Alanna Arrington, Yoon Young Bae , Kiki Willems, Teddy Quinlivan, Roos Abels, Greta Varlese, Aira Ferreira & Aiden Curtiss....these are also girls with high level walks ...any of them could be in this top 10 ...for me only imaan & yasmin are a class above these girls..they could fit in with the best from 2006 -2009 very easily maybe even amongst the best ever to hit the runway ....also Adut got the potential if manged correctly & given fair opportunity to be in that class...
