My favorite is definitely “MMORPGFPS” from the tiny Tina dlc.

You can do some stupid shit with Face McShooty. Like sniping him from atop the tower where Angel is. I did it and it was beautiful.

Bar room blitz is a reference to the the song "ballroom blitz". Most of the missions in the torgue DLC are actually references to classic rock songs.

Best mission... talking to Granny Torgue.

I like the missions in both Borderlands 1 and 2, where you go around and locate patricia tannis' echo logs Seeing how she first reacted to being left on pandora by dahl, what her reactions were when all her friends were dying around her, being killed by skags and landslides, how she had a simple conversation with the last surviving member of her team who was, at the time, dying due to being crushed during a landslide, and then killed her to end her suffering. And then in Borderlands 2 seeing how she was crippled by fear of talking to people after so long alone in the pandoran wilderness, and her records of trying to adapt to life in sanctuary, it really is interesting, the chronicles of her journey. She is one of my favorite characters from the borderlands series, and it's fun listening to her records.

For the Opportunity side quests, I love the reactions of Handsome Jack, like the statues even though I hated defending the machine against Constructors

One of the funniest sidequests for me was the Game of Thrones references in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. Top 3 for me.

Honestly I love the good, the bad, and the Mordecai. The fact you could get The Veruc, Moxxi’s Endownment, and The Lyuda (or Lyudmilla or whatever it’s called) is a win-win for me

I think the Grandma Flexington mission from The Waddle Gobbler DLC is one of my favorites. Mostly just the inherent comedy of "hey, wanna go on a perilous adventure? Then listen to this old lady."

From what i can gather, he commands the siege dancers from an imperial land tank just outside of rubicon. he's well protected, but with the right team we can PUNCH through those defenses, take this beast out and break their grip on Freehold.

I like the one where Claptrap sends you after Jack's statues.

I'm fairly new to the borderlands series (having just gotten into true vault hunter mode on my first character) but the "A real boy" and "shoot this guy in the face" questlines are the type of thing that make me absolutely adore this game.

I missed the children of the firehawk questline. It's a Iot of fun, and even gives a good legendary item at the end. We also get some background and characterbuilding on Lilith.

Now I wait for a mod that changes •=n00bkiLLer=•'s name to TheLegend27

outlook missions in the highlands. Dave is so funny

shoot a Norfleet in between the Hodunks and the Zafords on a low level difficulty, and both sides die, but only one side fully attacks the player, and since most people died, you cannot turn in the quest

I’m hoping you can play as a loader bot in borderlands 3 and I think Mal would be a nice character to play.

Honestly I liked the out of body experience, it was one of my favorite quests and even though the gear I got from it was worse than what I had I enjoyed it.

I'm pretty sure that Clan War (at least the last one) is a reference to the Sheperdsons and Grangerfords in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

There's a secret with the quest: Clan War: Zafords vs. Hodunks, no matter which side you pick, when you Turn In, you can kill the person you Turned In the quest to with a vehicle, you hit em for a while but the health bar doesn't go down but after a while of running em over, he'll die and have his Legendary have a 100% drop chance!!

I loved the nisha missions in lynchwood, i love the buildup quests and getting to see how nisha end up in borderlands 2. I also love the bane quest-line i thought it was fun and interesting

I love the Ice cometh or something, claptraps silly voice explaining humor just makes me crack up every time. And also that one with the AI core you end up putting in the radio in moxxi's bar pretty funny aswell.

I really loved Tina's crumpet obsession in the dlc also when Mr.torgue has you go kill people just cause they dont Luke his game. Also the overlook missions are pretty interesting especially when Dave dies

"Perfectly Peaceful" is such an underappreciated side quest. In terms of world-building, it does wonders to illustrate just how greedy and bloodthirsty the corporations that colonized Pandora were. Not to mention it has, what I consider, the most "human" character in the series. Security Officer Booth deserves more love.

This Just In quest is actually a reference to the Jet Set Radio game franchise, that is a game about Graffiti and revolves around a Radio Station in Tokyo. Hunter Hellquist's design is also fairly similar to Beat, JSR's first playable character. He can also drop the Bee shield, and it's description (Float like a butterfly) is actually similar to the name of a song in JSRF called "Fly like a Buttlerfly", who actually uses the same Muhammad Ali voice source "Sting like a bee, float like a butterfly". I know i'm late by some months, just wanted to comment because i don't see people talking about it very often.

i got the slagga through my second run of the story. i was happily surprised because i didnt have to grind for it.

I love the loader Mal, his voice is so cool and he reminds me of a claptrap in the ROBOLUTION!!!

I also really like The Good, The Bad, and The Mordecai.

I like Rocko's Modern Strife and Dr. T and The Vault Hunters the most because of the easy to do consistent strategy

something I really like about the quest in sanctuary for the order shield is that one of the people has a corrosive tank on their back, it was first seen on badass lance corrosive troopers in BL1 Armory DLC and it is not seen anywhere else in BL2

tbh Claptrap's Birthday Bash is the best mission by far. So much lore and plot is revealed in it, and you even get to eat pizza during the mission.

I really love the tower defence mission brick gives you after you become a slab in thousand cuts (I forgot what the mission was called) not only was the mission really fun, but you can get some pretty good loot, simply because of the unreasonably large amount of loaders you kill before the mission is over. I always love the slab missions where you're fighting along side the bandits instead of against them, and this mission is the best example of it. you can also get a max level Goliath without any effort if you place the Goliath beacon at the bottom of the hill where all the enemies spawn

In BFF's I got SUPER lucky, I listened to the story's, got fed up and literally just shot my rocket launcher and killed the right guy

the mission where tiny tina makes you eat cookies to get stronger is my favorite. it’s the dialogue.

Face mcshooty is the best I also love how petty jack gets when you cut down his statues XD

My favourite was the "Too Close for Missiles" quest, given to you by Loggins. Top Gun was and still is one of my favourite movies of all time, so I appreciated all the references in this quest.

I got a tubby Midget to spawn while doing tina's quest during the second wave

I would actually replacing the "Lost Souls" side-mission with the "Doctor's Orders" one that Tannis gives you. And the reason for this, is because if you merely accept the mission and NOT pick up any of the 4 audio logs within the Wildlife Preserve, you can farm the Legendary Loot Midgets that pop out from the 4 cardboard boxes in the room located next to Bloodwing's cell for easy legendaries/pearlescents.

Nice video! My favourite was Winter is a Bloodt Business with all the references to Game of Thrones and Mordecai discussing the Stuffy Aristocrat show at the end with Tina.

I doubt you'll see this comment now that it's been nearly two years since you posted this video. But I think the best side quest is "The Great Escape" side quest in sawtooth cauldron. I couldn't stop laughing it was so funny! I laugh just thinking about it. And if you by chance haven't completed it, I recommend it!

How about Perfectly Peaceful? That side quest is possibly one of the most emotional moments in Borderlands 2

The mission where you need to search for map pieces that bandits hold and then go to caustic caverns and find 4 levers using tips there to find a treasure chest and get an e-tech gun as a reward. I expected it to be dull and take ages to do, especially when the dude said that map pieces can be found from enemies all around the map (can't remember exact name), but you actually get them pretty much all at one any place you go from random enemies. Levers are really easy and fun to look for and explore the map as well and the reward is pretty cool too.

Law and Order being so far apart in the main story really killed it for me. The level difference really hurts in normal or tvhm. Less of an issue later on, but say you’re getting a friend into the game, and then they find out their favorite gun has a shield that goes with it, but you need to beat the game 2 1/2 times to get versions that are close enough to each other to be used together. I hope I’m just being an idiot and missing something here.

Too Close for Missles. The Top Gun Quest in the Dust. I'm not a huge fan of fighting all the buzzards during the quest but I am always appreciative of the references to the movie and their slow-motion volleyball.

For me the Clan War side quests were hands down my favorite

Bar Brawl Blitz - reference to Ball Room Blitz song. My favorite side quest unlocks the ability to farm Mobley and Gettle for some SWEET legendaries.

My fav side quest is probably statuestte hearing jack scream and all his sarcastic jokes are too funny

wish the Lost Souls reward was a parody of a Moonlight blade which has been in every FromSoft game to date if i remember

Personally i enjoyed the animal rescue series of missions. Its fun raising and feeding dukino just so he helps you beat the shit out of bandits.

Back then, I've suggested couple of times in Gearbox forums to add a new vault hunter character to be the robot Mal. I wrote skill trees which were very interesting but they never turned attention to my comments and suggestions. The time I did that, Gage and Krieg weren't released yet. I know many people suggested and posted new vault hunters with skill trees but all the suggestions were pretty similar to Zero. Couple of people marked my suggestion as great but those I needed to take a look and take under consideration, they never did! Action Skill was summons Badass Constructor (just like Axton's turret) and the different skills from the skill trees defined what kind of Badass Contructor would be and what it can do. Skill trees names were something like: 1. Humanity , 2. I forgot the name of that one cause it was years ago , 3. Hyperion! I've carefully arranged all skills so Mal can't become too weak or overpowered. Took me 2 weeks to build. There were some pretty useful skills I remember one of them was: "Decontamination" - automatically releases a water shower when hit by corrosive elemental type during DOT which is reducing the damage taken by this element. There was a skill: "Laser Eye" that can increase accuracy with all gun types and set enemies on fire while shooting them. Also included a skill that eliminates enemy shields and does damage the same way as the robots does in the game when they lose their limbs - they attack with some kind of electrical charge coming from their eye. "Hyperion" skill tree had a skill: "We Were Made At The Same Place" - significantly increases damage and reload speed when using Hyperion weapons. And the last skill of the "Hyperion" skill tree was: The Badass Constructor can build loaders and surveyors to fight on your side while the action skill is active. Everything disappears (the constructor and whatever it managed to build) once the action skill cooldown finishes. There were skills from the skill trees that are increasing the cooldown rate for using so its fair. The Badass Constructor is extremely powerful and depends on which skill tree you're using it can build loaders and surveyors OR it can launch nukes OR it can launch homing rockets BUT the action skill cannot be used in too narrow areas that are too small for the Badass Constructor to fit inside (like small houses or narrow alleys and holes). I forgot how I've arranged the skills but they were very interesting, people said it - not me! Mal fits perfectly as a vault hunter cause he wanna be human, right?

I hold that BAD HAIR DAY is a key early mission. You get, as your quest reward, a decent Jacobs sniper rifle, which will be your good right arm until you reach Sanctuary.

Know what’s funny? That Hyperion train mighta had orphans for real. Tina did say “BURN ALL THE BABIES!!!”

I got lucky in Clan War. First time doing the quest in tvhm Slagga dropped...couldn't believe it.

My favorite sidequest has to be all of lynchwood. You rob a bank kill the sheriff, you get to help out dukino, and etc.

What sells the Censorbot quests is what he says when he gives you the first one. "Please murder him because morality"

In Won't Get Fooled Again, if you accuse the wrong guy, the right guy will say something along the lines of "Haha, it was me, sucker!" and you can just shoot him. I love the Triquetra shotgun, it stayed with me for a large chunk of the game, all the way up until Sawtooth Cauldron when i found a Coach Gun that outclassed it.

My unexpected favorites are the ones where Handsome Jack (and Tyreen in BL3) have you commit suicide to get a reward. The dialogue is some of the funniest ever. Especially when you get the SellOut I’m BL3
