@@billnyedarussianspy1921 it is because lore wise is more heavy, first phase, you are fighting the Beats than once was Ludwing, making his theme obscure, menacing and depress, since you are fighting the one than you read so much, you enter with high expectations, and them you find this MONSTER, now Second phase is a waltz, one last fight with the legend, since Gascoine fight, those who fall under beasthood never come back, yet you see Ludwing coming back. One last dance one last fight againts him, doing the favor to redeem itself, yet for taste we have colors, for music is the same.
@@cristerlydioniciocastillo4696 I love Ludwig's lore too, a really well thought out character, I really also like artorias the abyss walkers lore from DS1
@@itachileesanI do not think he’s the best (unlike many others) both in terms of music and overall boss. I prefer Gehrman, Orphan of Kos, Ludwig, Maria, Soul of Cinder, Nameless King, Twin Princes, O&S, Artorias, Manus. Gael is either a strong A-tier boss or weak S-tier for me.
@@questionablezoomer764 i think as far as a technical fight goes, gael is the best, ost wise there are better imo, but there are lots of good bosses, midir, nameless, dragonslayer, alonne, artorias, mohg and radagon
I think it’s definitely the best ost, hits the same emotion as the gwyn theme does with the violin but it’s also so much more powerful with the choir. Makes me want to fight the boss with an un-upgraded weapon so I can draw out the ost as long as possible. I also think lady Maria’s theme is really good and kinda similar to the twin princes
Dude I just did my first BB playthrough last week and I thought the same thing lol. I was thinking to myself how cool the music is for how lame the fight is. Lady Maria right after was slapping hard though
imo it's def really good, but nowhere near the #1 spot, that is solely reserved for Ludwig the Holy Blade. (Maria's theme is prob about #8 in soulsborne) I have Ludwig, Laurence, Gehrman, Mohg, Godskin Apostles, Lichdragon Fortissax, and Gael (also if it counts cuz it was sulyvahn's originally theme, then ds3 main theme) above it
Gwyns is so tragic a great king that ruled all turned into a meir husk of witch was its formal self and the music tells it so well as the great king who fell before
@@questionablezoomer764 I don’t think I’ve seen as much as that but I’m sure it does happen. I’m a Dark Souls 3 fan so it just annoys me when it gets so overlooked
all of these themes are very good, but i'd say Ludwig is 1, Mohg is 2, and Gehrman is 3 (tho Laurence the First Vicar pushes it, and Lady Maria is also prob top 10, but on the lower end)
Sooo im not a souls fan but i love the music and i want to playit and try it, witch game is best for me to start? And dont hold back because i love hard games, im not the quit type.
I started with sekiro because i loved the more stealth based and parry playstyle, it's also considered to be the hardest because of it's much different playstyle than the others
I’m late to this thread but I would start with ds1 and go in order. If you play the newer games first it will be harder to play the older games with their clunkier controls and slower gameplay. I think it’s better to ramp it up as you get better, also ds3 is a lot cooler of a game if you play Ds1 before it. Also don’t read too much into the internet hate surrounding ds2. Just make sure you level up your agility and you’ll still have a great time with the game. As a tip here are my gameplay notes for the games: -demons souls/ds1/ds2: slow and clunky, more emphasis on defensive gameplay -Ds3/bloodborne/Elden ring: much faster gameplay, more emphasis on dodging opponents attacks and finding or making your own windows to get in damage -Sekiro: you’re a ninja, games super fast and high octane, gotta make sure you’re ready for it to pass the skill check
