To me Ultimate Spider Man from 2005 is the number one of all, the comic look a like gameplay and having the ability to play as either Spidey and Venom was just fantastic for me when i was 15 that same year when it was released.

Spiderman web of shadows, Ultimate Spiderman, Shattered dimensions, and the first 2 sam raimi games were all childhood classics of mine. Shoutouts to Spiderman (ps4) and miles morales. I have yet to get spiderman 2. 🔥🔥🔥

My favorite Spider-Man game didn’t make the cut. The Amazing Spider-Man. It may be an unpopular opinion, but I had a lot of fun with it. I didn’t care much about the story in its follow up, but I enjoyed the experience on that one too.

I've got a real soft spot for the Ultimate Spider-Man game. I truly appreciated that they tried bridging it as part of the Ultimate comic continuity beyond just adopting its art style. The map wasn't as big as the Spider-Man 2 game from 2004. But it was more bustling with people and had a wide variety of detail (for its time) when you got down to street level. I really liked having a good amount of skins to cycle through, like several versions of Peter Parker, as well as variations of the Spider-Man suit. It was fun to be able to alternate between Spider-Man and Venom. I liked the inclusion of iconic Marvel buildings like the Baxter Building and Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. The cameos were very cool, like Wolverine popping up in a brawl. I loved having several races with Johnny Storm (took at least 5 tries with the final race). It was a blast! Too bad it hasn't been remastered. Even though it's quaint compared to expansive games now, I'd play it again in a heartbeat!

With the Spider Verse movies being mainstream these days, I think they should make a Spider Man Shatter Dimensions 2 with both returning Spider Men from the first game and new ones introduced in the sequel.

I'm so glad the 2002 Spider-Man is getting the attention it deserves. I distinctly remember the Oscorp stealth missions scaring the crap out of me when I first played them. Overall, a phenomenal game, with the Xbox version even having two extra levels focusing on Kraven the Hunter. Plus, the playable Green Goblin is so much fun to use.

My top 5 Spider-Man games are Marvel Spider-Man 2 , Marvel Spider-Man, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Spider-Man 2(2004 tie-in), and Ultimate Spider-Man(Because I love the Ultimate Universe). Honorable mentions: Spider-Man Web of Shadows, Spider-Man Edge of Time, and Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions.

It disappoints me how underrated Spider-Man Edge of Time is. People hate on how it has half as many characters and that the plot is “drawn out”. They managed to create an interesting and dramatic plot with higher stakes than Shattered dimensions and had a better script and was able to focus more on the characters of the 2 Spider-Men much better than the ones in S.D. where, personally, I felt now real serious enjoyment from the spiders outside of noir because of his personal reasons for his own storyline even though it was only really touched on at the beginning of his levels

I'd day rhe best spiderman games I've played are, spiderman ps4 (or ps5 remastered is better preferably) , miles morales on the ps5, isometric spiderman 2 (I'm 50% into the game), spiderman shattered dimension, and spiderman web of shadows. I always loved playing web of shadows, it was ahead of its time, between the good and bad decisions to seeing wolverine and electro and black cat as symbiotes, web of shadows is a crazy ride from start to end!

You guys didn’t really give shattered dimensions it’s due and I believe it should be higher. You should also know that the four different voice actors did play Spider-Man in some form or fashion previously so they were all reprisals.

Spiderman Maximum Carnage is the best spiderman game. Spiderman for the snes, Spiderman seperation anxiety, Spiderman and Xmen Arcade Revenge, and Spiderman for the Genesis come in at 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Spider-Man 2 PS2 era, because that was more of a game than a cutscene infested cinematic experience, with long restricted on rails slop that made up a huge chunk of the second movie-game, hurting replay value. Sad news. The web swinging mechanics were also better in Spider Man 2 PS2 era because they were physics and skill based, not the strange pre-animated automatic slop that is the new, hip, modern swinging. Sad news.

Fuck the graphics Spider Man (2000) by Neversoft should be and is Number 1 because it's the most fun of them all it's never boring nonstop action amazing story a lot of iconic characters, sick soundtracks , a lot of cool unlockables like many many custumes and game modes. I could go on and on. Like it's just the perfect Spiderman game...
