For busy folks, fragrances mentioned: Honorable mention: Aqua Atlantique 1. JV Artisan pure 2. Dior Higher 3. YSL L'homme de parfum 4. Pepe Jeans Cocktail 5. A&F First instinct 6. D&G Light blue Italian Love 7. YSL Y EDP 8. Acqua di gio EDP 9. Dior Homme cologne 10. Rasasi Hawas
For summer, I tend to wear: Rasasi Hawas (Absolutely love this one!) Versace Dylan Blue Armaf Hunter Intense Aqua Di Gio Profondo I bought Bulgari Alantique right before it was discontinued. Sprayed it once. I've set it aside in original box and plan to hang onto it. Just picked up a box of Invictus Aqua and am leaving it sealed and holding onto it. BTW, I was in High School when the first original Polo cologne was released (1978). Yep, I'm old but still like to smell good. No Brute or Old Spice here! Dear Lord, I survived "Old English" cologne and disco. Heh, just as I posted this comment he says "Hawas may not be for older gentlemen." Wrong! This is probably my favorite and I'm almost 60. I rock this fragrance!
@@samuelanyaehie6557 I think so. I blind bought it and ordered Versace Dylan Blue at the some time. I like Dylan Blue better, but found no fault with Atlantique. Just thought I'd save it, since it was discontinued and use it for special occasions.
Not underrated, but not all-the-time available in many countries due to the importing from Dubai, only less than a handful of legit retailers/online parfumeries offer it, sometimes its out of stock and can take months until stock is back up.
Hawas is good but that little middle eastern vibe turns a lot of people off.....its slight but enough to make people not like it .....but if you was beast mode hawas wont dissapoint
@@treymillea88 The only middle eastern vibe to say is that it is spicey, not even as spicy as some european fragrances (Armani, Dior, V&R, PR to name a few) 🤔 I have yet to meet people that dislike Hawas but there's always one in a Million that dislikes something 😄
Fun little tidbit I had to share about 3 or 4 days ago I got my haircut and I was wearing aqua atlantique and I got an unsolicited compliment for that fragrance, she told me oh what is it that you're wearing it smells good and I told her what it was and she goes wow you smell really good..😁 it's always nice to get an unsolicited compliment..
For summer I use a combination of Wildstone Code Steel (its a super cheap long lasting Indian brand, smells like Acqua Di Gio) with Rasasi Hawas and it gives me tons of compliments. This has given me most compliments than anything else.
@@hritik21 I was referring to Wildstone Code Steel which is a body perfume and comes in deodorant type cans, actually its a body perfume and smells close to Acqua di gio. I got it super cheap here in Dubai close to $6. Its super cheap last long enough for that price, smells great in the air and can be used for layering with several fragrances.
@@kennethhenderson5098 hi its the greenish blue can. Blue one is code titanium which smells like invictus, don’t confuse them. You can search on RU-vid “Wildstone Code Steel”
My dumb reach would be Nautica Voyager. For a very cheap fragrance, I get so many positive attention and compliments and girls absolutely love it. The performance is not lacking either. It last like 7-8 hours and it projects otherwise I won’t be getting many compliments from it.
The edp is not summer type, especially in places that has weather such as in California. Its too syrupy sweet and thick for this heat. Edt, freich or live are better
For Summer I wear. Acqua di Parma Bergamoto di Calabria Bad Boy Cobalt Intensely Fresh JPG Fresco by Illum Dean (The very first Aventus Clone) Cedrat Boise Mancera Citron Vert Yves Rocher First Instinct Together Vetiver Pamplemousse Jo Malone Zara
Dg forever for the beach. Hawas for daily wear and Y EDP for casual evening wear. Chanel allure homme sport for daily wear and eau extreme for summer nights.
My experience with YSL Y edp. I like the smell of it but, is one of those fragrances that I want to get done with it so I can put on something different... Is not bat but IMHO is very linear. I enjoy the fragrances in my collection to the point that I spend a lot of time sniffing my hand because I just can't get enough of the scent. But with YSL Y edp it just can't happen. My favorite from the brand that remains at the top of my collection is L'Homme Ultime; That's a totally different world.
Another awesome review! I am well into collecting and wearing niche but have been rocking Hawas regularly. Incredible scent especially w the price point. Thanks for you work and quality content.
15:27 wow, saying that rassasi hawas is not as synthetic as invictus aqua is saying a lot. i don't own invictus but i have a bottle of rassasi in my collection, and i find that the whole scent comes across as quite synthetic already. i feel like it could be worn in summer, but only in the open air, not in closed spaces, and not in high humidity either. don't get me wrong, i like the scent and it lasts and blasts, but i feel like one needs to tread carefully with this one.
For some reason my y edp 200 ml is weak unless I’m noseblind but I purchased through Ysl when they had sales for it and the atomizer is also a different color as my older batch of y edp is a black atomizer and the recent 200 ml is clear, I’m assuming the reformulations is what’s the issue on performance/longevity
hello i just bought ysl edp also, batch made in 2021, white atomizer 100ml bottle and i think i have performance issues but maybe nose blind to it too, need a bit more sprays.
@@marko3054 correct I have the same atomizer it might be the same batch that we own, but yes for some reason it doesn’t perform well and I need to overspray to get longevity/projection
Thanks for making this!! Living in San Diego ca , The weather is pretty nice all year around, so most of my collection is for the summer or spring. Our so-called winter Doesn’t it really last long lol
