Cheers Dan - some unexpected (or at least unknown’s!) for me. I find myself wearing a lot of Cigar Rum Intense (Strangers), Memoirs of a Trespasser (IA) and Oud For Greatness (Initio), as well as others. I love it when the cold arrives and I can break out the heavy hitters 😊👍

Interesting selection mate. I’m lucky to have a 2012 bottle of Eau Sauvage Parfum which I treasure. Just learned that my beloved VC&A Pour Homme has been discontinued. To say I’m gutted just doesn’t cover it.

Im thrilled you put Brutus Aoud! I ordered a sample and loved it. So unique. It smells like a newborn baby’s skin. I wore it this weekend in Chicago. I definitely want a bottle. When I saw the brown juice I was almost afraid to spray it on. Not what I expected. Very light and sexy. Again, smells like clean skin.

Strong, diverse selection of scents. Great presentation. Recently tried Amtaeus and thinking Chanel can do no non-bleu harm for me. For cold weather prior Smelly praised Dua Invasion of Barbers, Lalique Pour Homme, and Givenchy Gentlemen Only Absolute rule for me. Gotta check out the Profumi di Firenze and few others I haven't. Antheus is a real power house, perfect for the winter when you are looking for a strong floral in the winter. Two thumbs up! Farenheit is my "signature" scent. My wife would blow up the thumbs up on this video... Brutus oud... you are tickling my interest here... Casino Royal nights... if you go for a date, entirely worth it. Your picks were awesome. Three fragrances I like already and one I will have to acquire. Thanks for the review!

In winter I'll be wearing: Mancera Black to Black (beast mode performance and so dark and mysterious) Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Dore (opening reminds me of Prada Luna Rossa Black but dry down is better to me and lasts a lot longer for me too) PdM Godolphin, Herod & Pegasus Amouage Jubilation XXV YSL Kouros & Opium Chanel Antaeus & Egoiste Mugler Pure Malt & Havane Dior Homme & Fahrenheit (both are parfum edition) Bogart Pour Homme (thx again for bringing that to my attention MrSmelly) Givenchy Gentlemen Only Absolute (again thx MrSmelly) And of course JV Dark Rebel😈

If only pour lui had staying power it would be a true beast! The performance and projection is just a bit rubbish. I somehow doubt that was a problem back in the day!

This chap doesn't appear to be a fan of tobacco perfumes. No prominent tobacco note frags listed in a winter list. very odd.

Wearing Cento today...not the parfum...can't find it

Excellent list at a range of price points to match all budgets. This winter I will be employing just two heavier winter scents. The first, and my personal favourite winter scent, is Floris Honey Oud. A wonderful, sophisticated and smooth take on oud. The second will be Lush Gorilla Coffee Cardamon, a rich and spicy take on a coffee-centric fragrance. I don't generally hold a lot of autumn/winter fragrances as the fruity, lighter spring fragrances such as Cedrat Boise, Gorse or Guarlain's L'homme Ideal Cologne, but I feel these can be a bit out-of-step and overwhelmed in the cold of an English winter.
