Superb video as always Luke ! This being from 2016, you now have Leyton Orient's Brisbane Road at no. 7. Although it's a 9,271 all seater stadium - as recently as the 1990's it held 21,000. In the 70's there were a number of 30,000 + gates - including FA Cup ties against Chelsea and Arsenal. However they were outdone by a league game v. Birmingham on a Monday night ! Attendance given as 33,383. The record though was another Cup tie, 34,500 v. West Ham in 1964. In those days we had 3,500 seats - and room for 31,000 standing !!
Two of these stadiums (plus the one you mentioned at Widnes) are shared with Rugby League teams, they could have done with a mention given how they're more well known for their rugby teams.
Merthyr Town has one of the most beautiful badges I have ever seen... You now have a new fan. Tranmere, what an example of a badly run/managed club, hope to see you guys in your proper place soon. Wrexham, one of my greatest football memories ever. I was just a little kid and traveled with my father to see Wrexham obliterate FC Porto and kick them from UEFA cup, I think.
As an American that route 66 sign annoys me because the colors or red white and blue are for an interstate sign but route 66 is a national highway whose colors should be white with black trim.
Mate, the Shay Stadium has a 14,061 capacity. It went down to around 10,000 when the North Stand was closed due to maintenance. Therefore FC Halifax Town should be second on your list
They were when the video was uploaded and in that year they won the national league then efl trophy and then won league 2 to where they are currently in the play off spot in league 1 to have a chance to get promoted into the championship 😱
