Music! Not necessarily recording something together, perhaps a nice chat about what music to play for a nice night of games? Or if it's actually better not to play music at all, who knows.
1. You 2 are really funny together 🤣🤣🤣 2. I only know 4 games, so in fifth place Gloomhaven. 3. You guys mentioned the dice tower more than they are mentioned on their RU-vid channel 🤣🤣🤣
This was fun! The next best thing to hanging out and playing drinking games is watching other people hang out and play drinking games (or talking about them), and it was cool to sense your ever-so-slight inebriation throughout the video. I also have a long history with Perudo; it was my friend's favourite game, and while I didn't love the game itself, it was always a joyful experience to play it with him. Especially while drinking.
i played Spicy as a kid but we used a regular card deck and called it Bull Shit. you would go around puting cards down in ascending order someone would be like "four 5's" and another would call Bull Shit to call them out. fun game. would definitly play with this more interesting deck though. nostalgic yet new
I run a bar, we have boardgames, the most popular are, Anomia X, Jungle Speed, Crokinole, Ravine, Jenga, Klask, Skull, going to have to check out Rhino Hero, thank you
A game that I love to play that easily turns into a drinking game is Irish Snap. It's similar to snap, but you're trying to get rid of your cards, when two cards match everyone snaps, last to snap picks up the cards and starts again. But also when you play a card you say a card value (usually you count around from Ace to King and back around again). When you get rid of all your cards and the pile has gone to someone else, you get to add a rule. Can be simple like: if you put down a queen everyone snaps. But can be harder like: before snapping you must stand up, shout snap, then sit down and snap. The fact you stay in the game even after losing your cards (you still count in the Ace to King) makes the game more and more confusing with rules being added and removed.
Thanks for including Blurble, I've never tried it as a drinking game but now I think I might have to. If you like a bit of shouting how could Happy Salmon not be on the list? That's the ultimate noise generator game right there.
In college our drinking game was Risk. Every army you lose, you drink shot of beer. Starts very easy, as what is a shot of beer? Super easy. But as the game goes on and big battles, they start to add up. I can only remember game actually being finished one time.
Forbidden Desert. Everybody takes a shot every time a "sun beats down" card comes out. Best gaming night of my life xD guess it could also work with Pandemic and the epidemic cards, if you don't mind losing.
Animal Upon Animal - it completely fits the getting harder as you get drunk criteria! Flip Ships - same deal Downforce - players drink when their car gets blocked?...
Hey Jon, your order in the description is off. Apart from that though, fantastic video, and I don't even drink, so that's how you know it's good. Curious what your thoughts are on "Blergh"
Thanks Leron? Do you mean the time stamps? I've changed it to "Jon's Five" and "Ed's Five" now to avoid confusion. And yes, these games are all great without drinking - in fact, I've played them all much more sober than drunk. I've not heard of Blergh - what is that?
It if makes you feel any better, the Dice Tower does have a Blurble video, but it has fewer views than most of your videos. Clearly you're the superior Blurble RU-vidr.
Camp Wildfire, it's in late August, early September in Kent, UK. Although the board game tent isn't run by Ed anymore, the rest of the festival remains the same :)
My friends are such lushes. They're always too.trashed to pay an ounce of attention. I vote for Loopin Louie and Coconuts for smaller groups. Cash n Guns for larger. 2 Rooms and a Boom for big parties. Lascaux is great with drinks and needs to be reprinted ASAP.
Really liked this one :) Have learned some new games from this. Since you like a bit more obscure games here's my favorite drinking game (which I also play as an Energizer at work) is.....Illusion. Have you ever played this?
Counterpoint, people can't even play Codenames sober. "This is a bit of a stretch, but I think Jenny will get this, Angel, 2, remember from that movie we watched the other day?" "Hmm, it could be Halo." "Shit, I didn't see that, can I give a different clue, or just fuckin start putting agents on the board at this point?"
I am ashamed of this on a deep level. I have an engineering degree from a prestigious university, and I still don't get skull. I watched like 3 videos of it, skimmed the rules, I don't know what is going on, at this point, I am too afraid to buy it.
Picked up Rhino Hero after watching this played it for the first time tonight, what a blast! I came back to this video as I discovered there is a Giant Edition of Rhino Hero that stacks over 6ft and would be a awesome at parties ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vVk-WGWiHHs.html It's quite pricey and the shipping alone to outside of US is nuts but I think I might have to pull the trigger.
