Looks like you read all the big books last year. I keep waiting for brain space for Proust and recently got myself The Magic Mountain, currently planning for an Easter adventure, let's see if that works out.

Perhaps, War and Peace is all too fresh in my mind. I could’ve easily included it. And for The Magic Mountain, all I can say is that I don’t understand why someone who speaks German would refuse to read it 😉
We had Mann's _Death in Venice_ in our European literature paper. It's a rather complicated read and the interpretation is heavily dependent upon the reader's comprehension. I've heard about Fowles' _The Magus_ but haven't read it yet. The only book by John Fowles I've read is _The French Lieutenant's Woman_ which is a remarkable example of metafiction as well as one of the best postmodern novels. The way you've presented and summarised these books is remarkable without doubt. It'll be really helpful for new students of literature. Thank you sir.

Só uma pequena sugestão: Tente segurar de forma fixa , por alguns segundos, o livro que vc está mostrando na tela ,pois facilita no reconhecimento do livro. Bjs.

Ah, glad to see you liked All the Pretty Horses! I recently acquired a copy of The Magus myself; maybe I'll get to it this year. I've had The Magic Mountain for a while now, but I'm a tad hesitant to tackle it yet for whatever reason. I also have the first volume of In Search of Lost Time that I would like to get to this year if possible. Glad to hear your thoughts on these books! :)
