Woooah so excited to see this! Very happy to hear Bayoneta’s been your top to go gloves. I’ll make sure I try all these other brands you’ve mentioned, to keep getting the best from it. Thank you Carlo, appreciate your labor and value brought to this community! ✌🏻🤛🏼
edgar! i purchased the 16 oz teal premium gloves from you a couple weeks back, you reached out to me but unfortunately i dont have IG. but i just wanted to thank you for the lovely pair of gloves, i've had numerous gloves from winning, cleto, boxeo tm etc etc... but yours by far are my favorite of them all they're not perfect but they're phenomenal all around gloves. i hope you can make some all white premium with double cuffs one day & i'd love to buy another pair from you later in the future... i check your site out more than i should, its like a kid in a candy store. thank you for the business edgar! i hope to continue to support your business in the future, thank you
agree on the Eizo’s bro, thanks to your original review and responses to my comments I was able to feel confident enough to grab em a while back and def in my top prefered and underrated!
This has to be the most insight and well presented reviews of boxing gloves ever presented. HIs knowledge of the equipment is second to none and all his presentations are superb. I would take his suggestions as spot on.
I love all your videos. The detail and honesty in your opinions make you unique. Each video captures my attention. Your knowledge of boxing is amazing. Keep up the excellent work!
im super happy to see bayonetas at #1. Such an amazing glove from a genuine and amazing dude. When he did his black friday sale i couldnt help but grab a 2nd pair even though i dont need one. I usually rather get a new brand/glove over getting duplicates but the bayoneta premiums are really the best thing ive tried by far such a joy to train in. Love ur list bro keep killin it!
Thank you for this. I keep trying to put people on the Venum Pro boxing gloves! Hammer and Shields 10-12oz are my favorite glove of all time. + affordable with their sales.
Man, for Carlo, Christmas is at the end of November! 'Cause it's Christmas come early with this video! I love seeing you summarize all the gloves you have tried, this is a treasure for addict like us.🎉🎉
You've convinced me on trying Eizo. I went to their site and they're sold out of a lot of colornway/weight combinations. I'm going to buy a pair as soon as they're in stock!
@@csquaredboxinggreat list. 3 thai gloves that I believe edge Primos. Raja Pro Boxing Gloves SiamTops custom Lace up SKS Lace ups Also I think if you reviewed Tiagro it would be on this list for sure.
I was just talking with Coach John Yesterday about a new pair of gloves he mentioned eizo and of course hit n move, then i came across your video and see a training video with him 😂. Good video! Cant wait to train with John again.
would you recommend primo 2.0 for heavy bags or sparring? I'm debating if I should get primo 2.0 or rivals guerrero 16oz for sparring and a 10 oz for bags.
That’s because I actually train in my gloves, 5-6 days a week. Anyone that knows me how much time I put in the gym. The gloves on this list are the gloves I just really enjoy using. It’s not a knock on other brands, even some of the popular names. Just my personal opinion.
Hey man, nice top 10. I was wondering, in your list of 2021 you had 1v1 on number 2 i believe, did you forget them or, did not add them intentionally. thanks
Thanks for this awesome list! Learning a lot from your channel. What would you recommend for smaller hands? I've been trying to find comparisons of hand compartment sizes between models. My hand circumference is 7.25in, weight 125lb, height 5'2" and I'm looking for probably a ~10oz glove. Hope you have a rockin day.
Love your vídeos, as someone just getting into the sport i got Venum Razor 16oz (still to arrive), havent seen any online review, would be really nice if you could test them out
Hey I am curious why nobody ever mentions Greenhill boxing gloves they were used in aiba back in the days. Rn they have the "Boxing Gloves LEGEND PLATINUM" Line for 110€ they feel tight and great to me and have nice wrist protection I would love to know where u you would rank them
Im trying to decide between these options for my first pair of kickboxing gloves for sparring, bag work, and drills. Im taking classes for kickboxing and dont own a pair of gloves yet. I want something that will last and be high quality but im torn between these options - SUPERARE ONE SERIES "SUPERGEL" V GLOVES - Hayabusa T3 - MK1 SELECT HOOK & LOOP BOXING GLOVES - Fly Superloop X - GLOVES EIZO SUPREME PRO VELCRO Any help deciphering the differences and quality between all of these would be great! Currently my top picks are: #1 Fly superloop x #2 Mk1 #3 eizo supreme or superrare one series
I haven't used any gloves you mentioned but tbh I think all of them will be fine, especially for a beginner since they are on the pricier side, I have however read that some people don't like the fly velcro that much because there were different 'batches' sold during the years and apparently they differed in terms of quality, you should research a bit more to make sure about that. Good luck
Great vid Carlos, I’m looking for pliable gloves you can easily open your palm in like mk1s, but also have satisfying pop like new sportings. any recommendations?
I've definitely been checking out my good friend Edgar's Bayoneta Gloves, now I'm more convinced to buy them. Carlo, which of the latest Everlast training gloves do you think are the best in terms of value for money, the Elite 2, Powelock 2, MX2 or the 1910 Pro, if you have tried them. I hope you can help me have a little more idea because the attention is also convincing me a lot.
@@csquaredboxing I got full custom colors, even left and right gloves were different. Embroided and Full leather. 16oz for sparring in hybrid closure. Took 3 months to get to north america. Very nice thumb, reminds me of Winning in that sense. What did you get?
In my experience ...none of them beat Rival, dollar for dollar, all things considered. Whether it be training/ bag glove or sparring glove, the Rival's simple last the longest due to the firm foam construction and micofibre construction which is relatively new but it beats traditional leather in EVERY aspect including ripping and tearing. I do find Rival's take some time to be "broken in" and can be quite stiff but once broken in and moulded, they are truly sweet. They are a punchers glove, in that you can feel the punch and power vs a pillow-like soft heavy cushioning glove which "eats up" the punch. You know when you land a nice, sharp punch in a Rival glove. They are light, shockingly light, and fit on the tight / small side especially compared to Everlast and Title. Best on the market. Hands down. I will use and wear nothing else now after many years of amateur experience.
Maybe in the future. Problem is I don’t practice Muay Thai, so I can’t comment on certain features especially when it comes to clinching, knees, elbows, without sounding like an idiot. Just my 2 cents.
@@csquaredboxing clinching really is just based of palm space and being able to open hand and of course glove bending. you could always do it based off comfortability padding stitching etc that’s what’s really important.
I really love my hayabusa gloves for this exact reason. Wrist support on them feels awesome and sturdy from my personal experience, as I have smaller wrists and many gloves I’ve tried in the past always felt like they could never really hold onto my wrist properly and would feel a little loose. Any hayabusa glove is what I would recommend you to try out. I have the S4 model. Also don’t underestimate the importance of using hand wraps!! Good luck to ya :)
I have a pair of the MK 1 Selects (purchased based on your review; thank you Carlo👍) and they are excellent gloves. And to answer the question as to whether they also are available in velcro: YES they do make the MK 1 Selects in velcro (which is what I have) and I can honestly say that have have superb wrist support. No fancy over engineered quadruple strapping system that you need to use your feet to secure, just very well thought out placement of denser and stiffer padding in just the right places. My only complaint is that the price has gone up significantly since I purchased my pair for $120.00...but still an exceptional glove just not the crazy bang for the buck deal they used to be.
Hey, please, I'm about to buy bag gloves, will you update your list of best gloves soon? Or maybe could give me a hint? I'm stuck with my decision, I need good wrist support and I'm looking at Phenom, Rival and Cleto Reyes without knowing what to choose... You'd be very kind to help!
So I was looking at buying my second pair of laceup gloves. Have the hammers in 16oz velcro already so was looking at other brands to try something different this time...Then I saw the hammers lace @ venum 50% off free shipping 18oz in stock. For the price i couldnt resist. Venom sucked me in...another pair of hammers again lol
Trevor Wittman and his fighters never advertise them. I only know them bc I freeze framed A Ufc embedded episode to see what Gaethje was using. The only other person I've seen using them is Andrew Tate - he's one of the most Notorious men on the planet and they're still unknown. They are also expensive.
If your interested in reviewing gloves that haven’t been reviewed yet, the Combat corner Champion Boxing gloves are completely unrevised on RU-vid. Alex pereira uses them and I find them to be very stylish and interesting yet idk how they match up against other boxing gloves
What happened to 1v1 Fight Gear? I remember that used to be on the top of your list. (Looks as if they've significantly raised the price on those gloves!) BTW: Thanks for making this video. I enjoyed it! 🥊🥊
Still enjoy 1v1 but just didn’t make my top 10. Love the company as they’re made here in the USA by a Veteran like myself, but these were the top 10 gloves I found myself using a lot more than others. Not a knock on other gloves/ brands because picking 10 is extremely hard with how many good gloves are available.
@@csquaredboxing Thank you for the reply. I completely understand. I was just curious as the reason. On another note, I was curious about another thing and thought your perspective might be good on this. As we've seen, with the death of HBO and now Showtime, with amateur boxing in the Olympics not being what it once was, with amateur boxing in the US not being what it once was, it appears that boxing as a sport is dying. However, I have NEVER seen SO MUCH boxing equipment being made. It seems as if there are hundreds of places making boxing equipment and the only way that would be sustainable is if there were more people boxing. So what do you think is going on? Are people boxing just to stay in shape? Or is our sorry amateur and professional boxing state not really the case? Thanks Carlo 🥊🥊
@@funkrates4778 muay thai, kickboxing, mma are taking a lot of the pie now compared to the past. People in those three sports still use boxing gloves and headgear, primo for example is heavy in muay thai as a brand along with venum (which now sponsors the UFC so that gives them MMA as well). I do think boxing is on a major decline as far as combat sports goes tho. Recent entertainment boxing has been clutching to the rope, but people have more options now than before for sure. I think people are tired of all the talk, the ducking, etc.
You mention that the Bayonetas allow you to open and close your hands easily, can you recommend any cheaper gloves that open easily to make catching and parrying more viable?
Have you taken a look at the Hayabusa open thumb bag gloves?? They're really bag mitts. They look like they could be nice but I have a mixed experience with Hayabusa.
@@csquaredboxing thanks. Should I consider any of the others below instead or is there anything better than the eizo for a similar price since you made the video?
