it was okay. i thought their team up was better in Daddy's Home. The hang up I had on The Other Guys was that it was one of Mark Wahlbergs first attempts at comedy. Just felt to me like he was trying too hard.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are my favorite because of how they use arguing in the film to confuse the bad guys (or hyped up store owner) and defuse the situation. I thought they had perfect chemistry to feed off each other as characters and actors.
10 Lethal Weapon 1987 9 Blue Streak 1999 8 Beverly Hills Cop 1984 7 National Security 2003 6 Rush Hour 1997 5 The Other Guys 2010 4 Hot Fuzz 2007 3 21 Jump Street 2012 2 Bad Boys 1995 1 Starsky And Hutch 2004
Hot Fuzz should have been number 1. I laughed my ass off seeing this guys living out the stereotypical movie cops, even spoofing movies like Point Break along with some other running gags from the Cornetto trilogy.
I'll hand it to Lethal Weapon, it was Danny Glover's soon to be retired but didn't get killed off. Thanks for having ONE movie that didn't do the cliche.
The French Connection deserved an honorable mention. Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider are the only buddy cops that got an Oscar nomination (with Hackman winning).
Writing both names are too much of a hassle... anyways, here's my top 10: 10.Superbad 9.The Other Guys 8.Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang 7.Hot Fuzz 6.Starsky and hutch 5.Bad Boys 4.Se7en 3.21 Jump Street 2.Rush Hour 1.Lethal Weapon Guess I loved 21 Jump Street more than most people. Also, if this would go by sheer quality of the film, Se7en would be at number 1
10. Cop Out 9. Hot Pursuit 8. Beverly Hills Cop (same) 7. Bad Boys (same) 6. 15 Minutes 5. Hot Fuzz (same) 4. Rush Hour (same) 3. Lethal Weapon 2 2. Lethal Weapon (same) 1. In The Heat of The Night
