Catholocism is very different from any 1 of the thousands of Protestant Faith's. Google says there are 39,000 different sects of Protestantism. Catholics are united in our Faith and God has never stopped speaking to us through His Saints and many died for Him and horrendous deaths they bore for the love of Christ. Protestants have only 4 or 5 Saints while Catholocism has thousands. While God apparently stopped His conversation with Martin Luther He never has been silent with Catholics. I beg you please investigate the real,true history of your founder Martin Luther. Did you know that Luther authored a book entitled "On Jews and Their Lies " late in His career ? In this book Luther encourages the burning down of homes, schools and synagogues and the nazi party even used quotes from this evil book to further their propaganda and to convince the german people that antisemitism had a long Christian history. And there are audio files of "On Jews and Their Lies " on youtube if you want to listen. It's shocking and a gamechanger. @@richardkasper5822 it is true that michael the arch angel did appear to daniel but does this mean he can intercede for since it is Jesus who intercede for God's elect? i'm thinking about it!

@@jd-gw4gr My thoughts are it's one of those gray areas that could go either way. But you gotta keep in mind that if it was just Jesus interceding for every Christian under the sun ? He'd never get a break. I know as a human being that can't fathom the intellect of God maybe that seems improbable.... but God who said He is a jealous God seems to be subject to the same emotions as humans are... I've had small miracles happen as a result of praying to the Saints namely Mary and Joseph and since we know all good things come from God that has been my experiance.Jesus said the devil comes to steal , kill and destroy.

You're correct that the Catholic Church doesn't "choose" anything. But it is the Church that Christ began over 2000 years ago. Why would you cling to a belief begun by a mere human a couple hundred years ago instead?

Fully agree! Praying to the saints is not in the Bible. 1 Timothy 2:5, which states: "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus".

Especially the Mother of God, she who moved her Son and Lord to perform His public miracle, even though it was not yet His hour, touched by His Mother's compassion for the wedding couple, as we are God's coworkers and the prayers of a righteous person have great power in it's effects!
