I remember years ago seeing an interview with Michael Jackson where he stated that as a kid his brothers made fun of his nose. THAT is where his insecurities came from. I can imagine some came from his father as well, as he wasn't the nicest person.

NOBULL ziggster yes , I somehow just turned 60 and no wrinkles but sag starting. I’ve got virgin skin , not one shot. Good thing I an a recent kidney transplant patient w now no immune system. I attribute it to only lots of water , clean living and healthy lifestyle. Cause I’m not allowed enhancement. Aging gracefully , healthfully !

As an older woman (57) I look nothing like the woman I was when I was 23. Sadly, people expect these stars to maintain their looks. To look the same 35 years later. It's not physically possible! These women are trying to stop time but they've got to learn that it's okay to grow old naturally...gracefully. And we, as the viewing public have got to learn to accept the fact that they're aging just as we are....and it's OKAY! :)

it is not just "people" who expect stars to maintain their looks, but a tiny fraction of them. most people will respect somebody who ages in dignity, and even more if maintaining a good body. nobody gives a rats ass if you are 60 and look like 60. except you ruin your body with food, drugs etc.

People dont expect celebrities to look the same at an older age, celebrities expect to look the same n people follow. If celebrities embrace their looks at older ages then the public would be more accepting but because they dont for fear how they look on camera, then they begin influencing how the public thinks and look at them and even how them theirselves should look when then get older. It is really sad how this world is fixed on looks and they influence the younger generation as well rather they no it or not. I am who I am as God created me and I will age in his grace not touching a thing or my body so he will recognize me when I return home to him😁

I think they think too much about their appearance, they only listen or talk with other actors and overthink about it, and also, the plastic surgeons have a HUGE business around them, so they move around them in parties like scavengers convincing them they have the solutions to all of their insecurities. If not, how is possible that a woman like Angelia Jolie, a woman with an astonishing beauty, fell in to the trap of plastic surgery?

The best way is just to care for yourself, like using sunscreen and have some regular skin spa, I mean these women have the money. They can reverse some of the time by just taking care. Not surgery. But hey they are moviestars

Michael Jackson's plastic surgeries: 7/8 rhinoplasties, his scalp treatment (due to the accident where he suffered third-degree burns in 1984) and his dimple. He had insecurities, but his skin color was not one of those. He was proud of being black, and his skin had depigmented due to vitiligo.

Same. A lot of so called celebs are really insecure deep down. they have immense pressure on them to remain a certain way, and there's always someone younger / prettier coming up to steal their thunder so to speak. still, it's up to them to develop self worth and put their foot down about not changing a thing instead, eating healthy and staying fit. that's all is needed. instead, they turn to drugs, plastic surgery, and end up a complete mess in all areas. tragic!

Michael Jackson did not get plastic surgery everyone just said that he had various diseases and was severely burned which he had to have surgery for and that and the disease changed his appearance drastically the media bashed him and made it seem like it was plastic surgery he did have his nose done that's all trust me he did not want to look like that he said that many times in many interviews but part of his disease caused tissues to die so his cheeks and face changed. the media is sick trying to make it seem like its something it's not but also making him seem like a bad person for it. He did not like his appearance but he could not do anything about it. I'm sorry this just really annoys me because looking back on some interviews the things he said and how sad this made him was horrible. He even sadi sometimes he felt like he wanted to die and when he got upset his body would break down and he wouldn't eat until he passed out so stop saying its sad he did this to himself he did NOT and the media is sick for making him feel bad about what he cannot control. Ikr...when I was a child we had to write an essay about whether plastic surgeries help or not. And I was on the "no" side because you are not your natural self and they are useless. Let's put the "I want to look a bit prettier" case aside for now, my mother who helped me write the essay told me that sometimes people *need* plastic surgery from accidents, etc. Sometimes these silicone stuff are helpful. Same goes with the phrase "money brings happiness". Yes, if you're a screwed up mother fucking billionaire maybe you'll get depressed I don't give a shit, but for people who *need* money, these can bring happiness.
