Not having Martinez is crazy. You lot don’t watch him but you pick one thing (his height) and label him as shit because of that. Still somehow wins a lot of areal duals, his passing range is exceptional. His smartly aggressive in a way were he doesn’t just run straight into you and give a way a foul, he times it perfectly. His recover pace is quality and his overall intelligence outshines a lot of Prem CB’s but he’s short tho so he’s not good enough to be a prem cb🥴

Martinez and Varane not making this list is insane. They've kept 8 clean sheets this season when playing together and United haven't lost a game when Varane has played the full 90 minutes.

The reason Saliba a very good debut season (even though he's already had an own and given a penalty) is because the system allows, or should allow him, to have the least mistakes. He's the deepest of all our defenders. Gabriels steps up to be more aggressive. Zinchenko/Tierney/Tomi go into the midfield inverted. White is an overlapping RB. The average position of our defenders, you see Saliba deep. That being said as an Arsenal fan, i dont think he's the best center back in terms of quality, but on form i guess you could say that. When we go to a White - Saliba pairing, people will see just how unique White is as well.

It's really not, Romero is overrated as hell, he's just a rash defender that makes dodgy challenges a lot. Gabriel is more solid defensively, playing in high line just makes him look worse than he is
