Realy ? he won the Giro I guess it is a grand tour ? What did quintana win to place him in 1 place ?? And there is no ARU in your list also hhh that's strange.
Yeah, I should have put Aru on my list, I regret a bit, but I still don't see Contador being better than Quintana and Froome in the mountains at this point.

George Corbin agree, Andy is missing. Andy is top 3 my opinion. Also missing is Basso. 2x 1st giro,3rd giro, 5th giro, 2nd tour, 3rd tour, 4th vuelta, 1st Trentio 1st Crit International, 2nd Fleche, 3rd Liege, 3rd Lombardi 4th Lombardi. A much greater climber than Porte, Uran, Wiggins etc. He too, belong in a top five. (obviously not as great now, but a he belongs in any modern day top list of climbers)
@@Mr14041985 still 7 grand tours loads of mountain stage victories. Contador is great but I think all in all froome takes it due to some questionable early contador seasons
The Sour Videos chris froome is heavier and not as good on the climbs he wins the tour de France because he can time trial the reason why he lost the vuelta was because there were to many summit finishes for him to catch up on the time trial
personally valverde isn't a very good climber he is stronger in the flats section of climbs and then defends it on the steep section he isn't better than quintana nibali or porte just a mention porte has like 11 victories so far this year that's like ahead of mark Cavendish
Rafid aziz Dude, a climber who have won Fleche 3 times isn't good on the steep parts? Yeah right. But i do agree with you to some point, as he does not excel on longer climbs. He is more explosive. But on steep parts he sure has the power to make Nibali and Porte look like fools. If the climb isn't very long.
Rafid aziz if valverde isn't a climber than how can anyone say wiggins is a climber. im british and one of wiggins's biggest fans but he's not a climber hes a tt specialist who can get over the climbs
James Rodd Wiggins is not a good climber, he only won because of froome protecting him and in the tt's he gains a lot of time. Froome sets the pace which is too high for anyone to attack because wiggins can't cope with accelerations and wiggins just stays on froome's wheel

no creo que nibali sea mejor escalador que quintana, me atreveria a dar un top 3 y es quintana, froome y contador, el orden de cada uno lo da el momento en el que esten es decir que puede ser alterado, aunque considero que la diferencia es el tiempo en el que este video fue publicado es de inicio de año y quintana demostro ser mejor escalador en esta ocacion
Andy Schleck was a better climber than, Richie Porte, Bradley Wiggins, Cadel Evans and Rigoberto Uran. Wiggins wouldn't even have won the tdf if it wasn't for froome being a incredible teammate.
i feel offended... 1. froome 2. Contadour 3. Quintana 4. Schleck (andy) 5. Basso 6. Nibali 7. Porte 8. Valverde 9. Rolland 10. Rodriguez You all can contest #4 down but the top three are the top three hands down
Okay we are talking about climbs, not stage races right?! Wiggins, vanGarderen are not climber, they are solid clear, but more stage racer than climbers, because beeing a climber in my mind is much about explosivity and offensive riding. Talking only about climbing abilities from 2007! up to 2015 and forgetting the doping theme, three spanians have to named first. Valverde and Rodriguez because of there explosivity and in short climbs and Contador because of his stadiness and his strength in long climbs. After that, one can name riders like Quintana, Sastre, both Schleck brothers, Froome and even Samy Sanchez but in no way riders like Uran Uran or vanGarderen. Not even on a 'Top Climbers of 2015' list...
AA BB Froome has now won more Tour De France than Contador, which is the ultimate grand tour. Froome also has only ever prioritised the tour while Contador has tended to prioritise the giro and vuelta. Perhaps if froome were to do the same as the Contador the pair would be more equal in grand tour wins
