The crew is one I would love to try (and I think the underwater version supposedly plays ok at 2), but my wife hates trick taking games wizh a passion :D I grew up playing a trick taking game with my parents and their friends (I think it is called "Bauern schnappsen" on bgg) and later in university I played a ton of "Tarock" (amazing game in my opinion, but hard to get into) with class mates. Showing some trick taking games to my wife (who never played them) made her feel like she could never beat me, since I had so much more experience with the genre and some basic "skills" are very transferable between different games of that kind...
I feel ya on the significant other having a wife that does not like trick taking makes these less fun. I know our friend likes it at 2 player. I like the chaos at 5 😂. Brad
Great video good chemistry, straight to the point earned a subscriber. If I could give one point , include an out of the box picture. Always wonder what some of these games look like and if they look complicated or too big.
nice video I like the special effects on the boards games the growling of the lion made me jump. I can decide which team ill go for they all seem like cool games but ill choose team brad because i loose a lot in playing board games also but now days i choose board games over video games for the most part.

Awesome list, I own some of the games you mention like Jaws of the Lion, Nemesis and AHLCG. 3 of my all time faves. I’ll have to try the other ones you mentions since it looks we may have similar taste. :D
I am not a Harry Potter fan , my wife is, but I can safely tell you that Harry Potter Hogwarts battle is amazing! Especially once you mix in the expansions, but you want to make sure you are playing with at least Harry from The box 6 and Neville from the box six as well, Hary's character allows you to save your money and your damage and keep it for future turns instead of discarding it at the end of your turn, this depending on how low or high your life is, Neville's character allows you to heal other players when you heal yourself, there are also proficiencies that you can choose before you start the game, they give you special perks that help you throughout the game, like if you choose professor mcgonagall's proficiency, she allows you to discard an item type card from your hand in order to look at your discard pile for an ANY card and put it in your hand! All in all, once you mix in the other two expansions, the potions one and the monster box of monsters, the game is pure fun! , even if you are not a Harry Potter fan, and everything is so thematic and makes sense within the Harry Potter universe, everything is cohesive and well balanced. Highly recommend it!
