These Ten Colleges till 2011 before MBOSE took away charge of 11th and 12 th had produced many doctors,engineers and brilliant graduates that are prominent citizens and later good professors. But in 2011, the teaching on 11 and 12 was handed over to fresh Post graduate. Still then doctors aspirants went to tutorial homes lf old experienced teachers. So till 2018 there was no dearth of doctors. DHS (GOM) would collect all the Physics Chemistry and Biology %and accordingly sent to all medical colleges in India. Sad NTA squashed by the 2012 Supreme Court for the capitation fee shot to crores of rupees, won the lawsuit in 2016. Meghalaya toppers were doomed. NEET turned to be Eliminator of poor meritorious students who could not afford pay lakhs of rupees to these spoonfeeders. Few reconciled to Veterinary, many switched to Arts and got lost and few affluent family sent their wards to Delhi and Rajasthan. Fees not less than 5 lakhs of rupees. Few managed to scrape with ST concessions Garo more advantaged and Khasi Jaintia suffer a lot. Now all those beautiful colleges would be Redundant as CUET would determine the fate of 11 and 12th. You know MCQs of ONLY 12th syllabus would be examined for 3 hours Oh Oh My. So what the hell is the hard work of a child from KG to 12, with loving teachers encouragement, parents expectation and after That CUET with its weird MCQs not from CBSE or ICSE (as detected in NEET) forget about MBOSE Era has come now when Education is a Purchasable commodity and rich elbowed to the sky with no substance and our poor lost in the sea of Unemployment

Dear friend as of now St Anthony's Higher Secondary is better though as told None could be like the time 11 and 12 were handled by experienced professors. Our principals then were thoughtful to put experienced teachers in 11 and 12th and fresh teachers in Degree. Sorry for my delay of replying as it appears today only in Shillong chronicle which feels for our students. Please try St Anthony's first. But their cut off marks is sky high.
