Most points in the regular season, most points in the playoffs. Just had the best season any foward has had in like 30 years....won zero voter based awards. Voter fatigue is real! People are just so used to him being god tier that they hold it against him. I am suprised they didn't give the Art Ross to someone else while they were at it.

Glad he showed the NHL "come play here if you want a cup ring" this year.

In terms of pure, explosive hockey skill, he's the best of all time and it's not even close

What a force that Connor McDavid is in The NHL that just keeps getting better and better, night in the game and night out of the game and that's why he can make such good plays and this is why he is one of the best in The NHL if not the best in The NHL for the 2021-2022 season.

Haters love showing their ignorance. Their only argument is how many cups? I saw Gretzky go to LA in his prime pre salary cap era & never win another cup. Far too much emphasis on cups for great players in a team sport. No one with an ounce of knowledge will say winning the cup requires only 1 or 2 players but it doesn't mean the great players aren't great. To all the butthurt Billy's, do yourself a favor & drop the jealousy & recognize you have an opportunity to be watching one of the greatest, most exciting players the league has ever seen. Or just wait 30 years & watch old video footage when you've grown up enough to appreciate someone that didn't play on your team

So great to watch him this year. I agree with Monica that they are literally one player away from a cup. In addition, we got to hear Jack and Louie with all the calls. Hockey fans couldn't really ask for more.

#1 I stand by is the best goal of all time, no speed from an end to end, start from a coast 1 on 4 guys who all had a play on him. Ovechkin's goal or others mentioned are more acrobatic one offs, this one was a hockey play.
