One of the creepiest I have is the alternate Voldemort face for Quirell from the 2018 Great Hall set. It’s meant to be creepy, and it definitely succeeds.
Fun story: when I was 9, my brother got the Clone Wars Mandalorian battle-pack. The set was cool - from what little I remember of it - but the heads are absolutely terrifying. And the heads have been following me for the last 11 years, as every time I find some Lego in my room, it feels like there's always a Mandalorian head.
I know!!! I got that battle pack ages ago when I was young too and was super creeped out by the wrinkly faces and eyes that felt like they were staring into my soul. Looking back on it I can kinda see what they were going for given how Mandalorians don’t show their faces and naturally if you don’t plan on showing your face to anyone it probably won’t be in the best condition, but for a kid they were so freaking terrifying.
Same bro 😂 except I only have one Mandalorian left because everything else is broken up some where in my Lego collection but still pretty scary not gonna lie
I could see the last one being used for stop motion horror stuff, like mannequins coming to life or those Dr.Who creatures that are effectively almost the same thing, or someone losing their face could work too
Some of the creepiest minifigures I’ve experienced is the Lego Atlantis enemy minifigures with their heads removed & their face prints showing. Those are some creepy figures.
Can confirm the Mouth of Sauron's helmet is rubber, but it is sturdy enough that you can't squish it flat. Mine was just hanging out on his horse in the rear of one of the baseplates I keep my minifigures on, sitting next to Mungus from Laval's Fire Lion and a Barracuda Guardian from the old Atlantis line.
Emperor Palpatine looks like he got his face disfigured from an acid attack. Also I never understood how people thought Groot was cute in general, he looks like a wooden version of those oldschool 1950s grey aliens. Not cute at all 😂
I still love your first Top 10 Creepiest video, I remember laughing out on the Galidor, Bunny and Geoffrey the Giraffe head on the plate staring at you .
I hope it gets better for you. I'm sorry if I come off as annoying sometimes in the replied but I genuinely love your videos and I always love hearing your thoughts whether it's from minifigures to movies. You're one of my favorite creators and I genuinely hope it gets better.
Oh my gosh, Gulorful, you never have come off as rude to me or annoying. You are one of the kindest regular commenters here, I love seeing you show up :)
The only reason, rabbit from Winnie the pooh is so creepy is bc it's a predecessor to the new HORROR movie from them, Winnie the pooh: blood and honey 🍯 Those are the eyes of someone who's witnessed poohs atrocities....
Great list. Only ordered CMF23 the other day and did not know about the snowman with a face inside the face. That's hilarious and horrifying. Just got all my LOTR sets back together not to long ago, and totally agree. Mouth of Sauron is still terrifying. Interesting seeing some of the buildable characters on the list though surprised the Yoda didn't make the list with those pink rimmed eyes.
Also, about the new lotr show: if you've read a lot of tolkien and want something book-accurate, don't watch it. If you don't really care about accuracy and just want entertainment then sure give it a watch.
What would the Eye of Sauron Mini Figure head Peice look like with that Snowmann head without the carrot the teeth head peice in King shark one or any other thats just a printed mouth would work too.
There actually was a skull head on the potion bottle. In a shot in the movie in which the bottle does not have the cap on, in the background you can see the bottle cap with an extension of the spine from the skull.
They would never do that because the core of breaking bad is about hard drugs. LEGO is already reluctant enough to show alcoholic beverages so I doubt they would actually make a breaking bad set since the show heavily involves hard drugs. It might get 10k votes in LEGO Ideas but LEGO would never accept it. People already made a massive fuss about Simpsons LEGO sets despite it being arguably the most tame "adult cartoon" along with King of the Hill and appropriate for ages 13+ like with Marvel and crap. I can't even imagine the backlash LEGO would get for making sets about a 18+ TV show with tons of swearing, drugs, violence, and sex. It would be like LEGO making a GTA theme lmao not going to happen. Try MEGABLOX instead they'll make a theme about anything and their most popular themes are Call of Duty and Halo, two themes LEGO isn't ever willing to touch.
I have the Mouth of Sauron head, because I bought it from FireStar toys as it was a part of their moc minifigs they sell. It's a real neat head. To me, none of them were really creepy, or scary. Strange/ugly? Yeah. I'd have to say instead of Shortround, it'd be the Smiley gangster head that was creepy for me. The squinty, beady eyes and the detailed teeth really make it an unsettling minifig head.
