Did you know that when you are fighting Drawcia’s soul, the soul isn’t screeching at Kirby, it’s screeching at you. It is trying to kill the player while you attempt to kill it and protect Kirby. It does this because usually Drawcia is the one pulling the strings, but it understands that now you are pulling the strings, so it’s attempting to kill you. That’s why the soul’s attacks are on the same plane as Kirby now.
What's more is that 0,01 procent of star dreams succes ratio is held back by Haltmann's soul. As you hit him and hear him scream it becomes more silent until he can't be heard anymore. It was at that moment that Haltmann's soul, the last trace left of Haltmann, has been destroyed. And it tried to see his daughter one last time, but didn't realize she was there the whole time. Sectonia wasn't evil. She was a friend of Taranza and Taranza tried to give her a present and gave her a mirror. The more she looked into the mirror, the more corrupted she becomes. That shows not only how dark the two bosses are, but also how tragic it is. Haltmann only tried to get her daughter back and wanted to see her, but doesn't realize it due to memory loss and Taranza lost his friend and only wanted to give something to Sectonia to look at herself and made her unintentionally turn herself evil and had to be killed due to it not remembering her true form. I agree with the choices and adding this extra background to Queen Sectonia and Star Dream/Haltmann makes it even darker and sadder.
To be exact, Dark Meta Knight caused the mirror to corrupt Sectonia to the point that the only thing that can save her is to kill Sectonia. That is sad. And Taranza actually had feelings for Sectonia, making it even sadder. No wonder that Taranza has still trouble accepting that Sectonia is gone.

I wonder who's music The Void Termina Fight is based off of? I say this because in one game I play, "Ragnarok Online", has a similar track titled "Seven days and Seven Nights", and I could swear I have heard the notes from the fight elsewhere. Could it be more Beethoven, like with Zero-Two?
It was a bit odd at first for Zero Two to be number one, but I think it's pretty solid. As a kid, I was legit scared of Zero Two compared to the other bosses. So it's understandable Overall great video!
To be fair, I had trouble deciding Star Dream and 02. But thanks to Star Allies, it made me realize that 02 is much deeper than I thought which led me to pick him as my #1.
kirby: cute and cuddly characters and simple gameplay, Lore and bosses that seem like they came outa the minds of HP lovecraft and Junji Ito. Honestly i would not be surprised if the latter plays kirby XD
I have to say Marx and Marx soul are my favorite Kirby bosses! I may be slightly biased due to super star ultra being my first game in the franchise. As a kid I had a tough time beating Marx and I really liked how creepy he was especially Marx soul. That along with his music and unique design make him a memorable boss even to this day. Also his twist reveal caught me off guard when I first played the game.
Morpho Knight is my favourite Kirby Villain, I love his Design and Theme Song! And, get this, he's been there the ENTIRE TIME! He was that Orange Butterfly you saw at the beginning and end of games like Return To Dreamland and Planet Robobot!
Necrodius will also eat any Kirbys a Skullion he spawns can bring to him. Imagine what happens to the Kirbys that are pulled off of the Warp Star in the cutscenes now. Edit: It’s cruel cruel irony when you think about it. Kirby usually defeats enemies and absorbs powers by eating his foes, then Necrodius comes in and does the same to him... 😰
Idk if you know this, but sectonia and tarnza were once great friends, until tarnaza got the dark mirror to give as a gift to sectonia. That corruppted her into what you saw in game. But what makes this more sad is that in robobot, after you beat her as meta knight, you can she she once looked very close to taranza.Kirby lore is DEEP
Well you see it's called dreamland but since they need villains to keep the hero going its the best they can do. Holy heck they aren't kidding when they say nightmare in dreamland.
I haven't gotten much into this yet or read any comments, but I just know 02's gonna be somewhere on this list. Edit: ok yeah he got 1st Edit 2: is 02 a he? I'll just go with "it" in the future.
On a certain perspective, that is true but many dark moments from Kirby do come majority in final bosses. If I made a top 10 Kirby bosses, not many final bosses would make the list.
3:08 I loved that game, and I think it was my first ever Kirby game, I'm just wondering if it's getting more attention now because of Kirby star allies, 3:43 yes, tornado was my main in that game
I would have put star dream at #1, but that's probably bias. 02 is a good choice. Fun fact, though: in the last phase of its fight, star dream completes itself and becomes a clockwork star like Nova from Super Star.
@@Octav2000 Well yeah because they got so much lore thats rather dark. If this was a regular Top 10 Kirby bosses, I would've put Nova, Kracko, Haltmann, or even Masked DeDeDe in the list. But many dark Kirby bosses comes as the final boss.
It's ok. Looking back at this video, I noticed that there are some bosses that I went more than the others which is kinda unfair. But with all the welcoming criticism I've been getting, I'm making sure the next countdown doesn't share the same mistake as this one.
Unless you can prove from an official source that his name is pronounced “Dar oach”, we’re gonna keep pronouncing it as “Da roach” Also it isn’t even that big of a deal...
