It’s the best Denzel role. My husband kept putting off watching it for 10 years, I kept trying to convince him to see it. Finally, he broke down and watched it right after Christmas with me and was blown away and it’s now one of his favourite films of all time. He loved the writing and directing and acting.

I'm sure I've watched Man on Fire at least 50 times. I cry every single time the kidnapping takes place, and I cry even harder at the ending. So many wonderful things about this movie. Love how the bullet didn't work for him, but it did for the father. I don't think there is one thing about this movie I didn't love.

#1. John Goodman & Denzel we’re the greatest in FALLEN. #2. Training Day ! Both were, beyond a doubt, the best Denzel movies. The rest can all be put in a box of treasures to be opened when I get tired of watching the first two over and over again! P.S. I’ve already watched them all. Inside man is a special film for me. I was 15 and think that was the first rated R movie my parents took me to and we loved it. I forgot it had William Defoe and Denzel. 2 of my favorite actors.

My number one favorite Denzel Washington movie is probably Glory (1989) which won him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. I also liked him in Malcolm X (1992), Philadelphia (1993), Training Day (2001; won an Academy Award for Best Actor) and American Gangster (2007). I also understand that his son John David Washington has following in his footsteps. Like father, like son.
