It’s really cool to see that he is part of season zero’s final boss, and his effect is based on Bakura and Yugi having to fool for attacks so it’s a pretty faithful interpretation which makes it cooler.
Logs is now doing more gimmicky Top 10 lists. I'd love to see a list of the top 10 cards with glasses. Maybe the real reason Yugioh players don't read their cards is because they can't and they need glasses to properly read the card text.
Very fun video! These are by far my favorite! Seeing all these quirky strategies that genuinely make you want to try them out just for fun in a casual game. Duel Links would be a good way to try some of these due to the slower pacing and ease of getting into duels where the power level matches your deck build or testing your mettle against some tough opponents without worrying about just being OTKed for not running a meta deck. Yugioh has so much potential. I love seeing the "no other time to talk about these cards" videos the most.
If I may draw some attention to 2 other dice cards, Morphtronic Telefon and Psychic Rover aren't all that unpredictable. Rather they're pretty good by dice card standards with the former having FTK setups and the latter unironically having some consistent and strong effects that Dotodoya used in his all luck deck. No once per turn on either btw so with enough luck you can just spam them.
Top 10 Worst classic cards 7: Ancient Sanctuary, or Top 10 Worst Warrior type monsters For the non top 10 list: The Unknown side of Yu-Gi-Oh: Beasts of the Colliseum featuring Gladiator Beasts
I started playing yugioh world championship 2007 on my DS just a few days ago. getting my ass HANDED to me by the "Snipe Hunter - Las Vegas Deck". The AI gets ALL his rolls to his benefits its so frustrating.
"And at #2, we have my beloved son, Number 85: Crazy Box." - The DuelLogs I'll never forget the time in Master Duel when someone playing a burn deck against me offed themself because they got hit for 6000 by Dice Jar. Twice.
Orgoth the Relentless is a fantastic die roll card. It was great in the Master Duel gambling event. It's my first time seeing Royal Rhino with Deceitful Dice, and it looks so fun to use.
The odds to get a specific effect (other than the ATK boost) of Orgoth is 36/216, or 1/6. For example, for the draw 2 cards, you can roll : 133 233 433 533 633 313 323 343 353 363 331 332 334 335 336 144 244 344 544 644 414 424 434 454 464 441 442 443 445 446 111 222 333 444 555 666. The odds to win the roll off of Pair-a-Dice, assuming you have a brain, is (11/36)*1 + (9/36)*(35/36) + (7/36)*(33/36) + (5*36)*(30/36) + (3/36)*(26/36) + (1/36)*(21/36) = 1191/1296 = 91.9% chance
As a side note, the chance of getting no effect off Orgoth is 5/6 * 4/6 (first dice roll is whatever, second dice roll has to not match first dice roll, third dice roll has to not match first OR second dice roll) which comes out to 5/9. So correspondingly, the chance of getting any effect (be it any of the three doubles or a triple) is 4/9, or 44.4444444~%
Ya know before watching your streams i would have thought these kinds of videos were out of character but nope this is how you are (even if you didn’t write this one in particular idk i didnt check) and i love that. These new type of thematic videos are my absolute favorite, great stuff duel logs
One thing that you forgot about Zorc: in the manga, a critical success (a nat20 essentially) was based on rolling 1s while a critical failure was rolling a 20, which explains why rolling a 6 destroys everything.
Honestly, I'm kinda surprised that Zorc has never been retrained with other stuff from that manga arc. Seems like perfect potential for a small archetype.
If you use dead heat with truck-kun you can avoid destroying your monster and each activation still increases its level. Last year I climbed the synchro event with assault mode and this trap like that lmao
Top 10 tech pichs for potential tier 0 decks Guys, i got a combo for y'all activate future fusion in a speedroid deck to summon the ultimate vehicroid You are getting 5 cards on the grave and its 1 for 1 oh boy Tell me your similar combos and lets make a list of top ten
I literally just made a Duck deck and now it looks like I’ll be making a Box deck. This is the life of someone who treats Yugioh deck building as an art form.
One thing you didn't mention, but couldn't Crazy Box use it's number 4 roll to target itself, allowing you to swing with him, assuming your opponent doesn't have a face-up target for him.
It's a list of unpredictable dice roll cards, and somehow Roulette Spider didn't make the list. Even in the anime, it was explicitly called one of the riskiest moves in the game.
how to improve chance cards and make them fun. 1. Make them unreactable meaning a super poly like effect. 2. have some wacky gimmick and effects that are strong but also risky, not 50/50 but 25/25/25/25 like. 3. have ways to search eachother and recycle each turns to really bring in the gimmick of everyturn a new dice roll for various gameplay mainly on your turn but could be fun if you can use it on your oppennets turn. that's all.
Effect of Number 7 is not a OPT, so the chance of getting 7 at least once is 42.13% and you can go further with Gossip Shadow etc. (and I'm surprised no LVK subscriber did this on sub replay)
I remember an old game I had on Dueling Nexus, I used a pure dice and coin flip deck for fun as ya do. in that game, my opponent and I resolved dice jar with these results, first number being mine second number being his: 6,6. Reroll. 6,6. Reroll. 6,5. meaning we rolled 5 6s in a row somehow. talk about playing in the high rollers huh?
Does no 7 work with the trap card that's a six? Because if so you would have a 50/50 shot of getting the max attack boost and the combined 7 effect. or a 25% of just the max attack and 25% of only gaining 700 lol.
It's crazy you aren't putting psychic rover on this list. It special summons out of gy not once per turn every(2/3) time it gets sent there and it pops 2 non target every(1/3) times and you can make an entire snake eyes board with just diabellestar and 1 rover on a half decent day. And the key difference is it's from an ocg topping list from last year. Thats far more relevant in format than anything from this list.
"This continuous trap has the effect of letting the player change all odd dice results to a 1, and all even die results to a 6." **Card shows it's the exact opposite, and Evens are a 1, Odds are a 6.** Swing and a miss, there.
number 7, is one of most broken powers in all fiction (probability control), easily surpass dragon ball (or any other anime) but the number 7 is in wrong anime.
was some of this script written by chat gpt, it seems a little weird sometimes "Detach one overlay unit" instead of "Detatch one XYZ material" was a bit of a sign
The best part about dead heat is that your not even at a risk when you use its effect. Sure, my monster has been destroyed, but it also cancelled that monster's attack in the process! Potentialy giving me one more turn to potentialy overtake my opponet.
I still remember facing one in MD using Dice Jar loop combo, and I won that by rolling 6 two times before I got to do anything else. It was hilarious I still keep that replay on my channel. XD
One funny one I had was playing against my brother. He was just getting back to the game, so I pulled out a gamble deck. I told him "don't worry, this deck can't OTK" I then proceeded to get perfect rolls on Orgoth, doubled his attack with Dice Dungeon, and OTKed him by attacking directly. I wish I knew you could save duel room replays.
