Fan Idea - BrokenLeomon. A Virus-Champion level Digimon that came back to life after it's defeat in battle. This Leomon has become ferocious after it's resurrection and parts of it's body are bandaged and torn up. It's sword is broken and it's whole color became white to gray. Almost like a zombie. It's attacks are Fist of the Fallen King, where it unleashes a lion-shaped energy blast from it's fists filled with anger. And Shattered Blade, where it fuses it's anger into it's broken sword and slices it's enemies to shreds. That would be awesome.

X-Evolution is also my favorite Digimon movie! It's what made Alphamon my #1 favorite Digimon and why I'll always have a Dorumon as part of my party in any Digimon game I play!

10) I remember hearing that the creators were unaware of the pattern regarding leomon until actively mentioned to them. Also, since 02 is a continuation of Adventure, technically Leomon did die in that timeline, just before the events that took place in it. 9) Chimeramon is terrifying. I always questioned the self fulfilling prophecy that is that time paradox. 8) Ow. That hurts. You aren’t wrong, but it’s incredibly sad. Wonder if they are still a cyber ghost in Tri. 7) Yeah... to think that this guy isn’t at peak ability. He skipped a state explicitly stated to be made to build up power. 6) So he’s 80% leomon~. Joke aside, he’s fairly lacking in personality. He’s the end of life, but that’s where it ends. 5) Yeah, can’t go wrong with this rookie. He has an incredible character growth. Him filling the empty seat of the royal knights was exceptional. 4) can’t go wrong with this guy. I mean, he’s responsible for some of the biggest changes. Including number 8. 3) Noble warrior with issues regarding his emotions. Doesn’t understand why he does what he wants. He was quite a good individual in the end. 2) Eh, he’s Tai’s partner. 1) the demon lords make incredible villains and heroes. Heck, pick a sin and you can make an entire story staring them as either the protagonist OR antagonist. Look at Frontier and Xros wars. One was the end all, be all bad guy, the other a powerful and elusive ally.

I would have the composite lion digimon be able to save at least one lion digimon. He may have not been able to break the cycle but he at least he was able to save one. As for a series without humans, would a three way war between the Holy Knights, Olympus XII, and the ancient warriors suffice?

Sure, Apollomon, a Leomon-esque Digimon, died, twice, but he was resurrected each time. Here's two of my favourite Animé Digimon, both from Fusion/Xros Wars: Reapmon: I found Reapmon's story compelling and it was the reason I immediately got into Digimon Fusion when I decided to finally start watching it back in 2015 while it was taking place in the Sand Zone. Digimon Fusion got me back into Digimon after I got out of it after Digimon Tamers. Ignitemon: Ignitemon is a special Digimon to me that I discovered back in November 2015 while watching episode 35 of Digimon Fusion. Ignitemon is special to me because of coincidental similarities between it and my Steven Universe OC, Heliodor, which I created back in May 2015. I was inspired to create a model sheet for an Appmon version of Ignitemon by the Digimon Hackmon having an Appmon counterpart of the same name. I have already done the base sketches for the model sheet of Appmon Ignitemon's Super Appfusion, Crackmon.

It makes more sense why Chimeramon and Machinedramon are so compatible with each other now, in creating Milleniummon it's like a one off digimon, that couldn't be made through other means, except a fusion of the component digimon.

Nice Video, but My favorite Digimons in the Anime are Alphamon and Kaiser Greymon. I think Leomon deserves much better... he is treated like a Yamcha but in reallity he is a powerful and proud warrior. He should be the main character of a series, and NOT die...

Is there any fan theory about why Leomon always dies? Thinking now that Lion is called a king, I think it's kinda part of a duty do a king to make sacrifices for its people, there are some ideas like this on series like Once Upon a time and The Magicians.

While I can agree with most of this list my #1 will always be Gallantmon. Also I know it's not an anime but in the manga Digimon V Tamer the Leomon there is still alive at the end.

I've always liked Digimon Tamers & Adventure 02 over Digimon Adventure (any of 'em w/ Agumon & that team), tho' I do like 'em all Tbh. I just always thought the Digimon in those series (Tamers & A-02) looked cooler, but 💀Greymon & BlkWarGreymon & other character's like that was dope in the O.G. series.
