The Small World breakdown was perfection. The lone-rider gliding through squeaky-silence, interspersed with moments of jump-scare soundtrack. I laughed so hard.
We visited all 4 Florida Disney parks for the first time and all I’ll say is none of them are worth the money. Magic Kingdom is SOOO boring. The only decent ride is the new Tron coaster. Everything else there is SOOOO old and out of date and boring. They really need to get rid of Space Mountain which was boring, It’s a Small World which was cringe worthy and more. I mean, I know its supposed to be about nostalgia and all that, but I would NEVER pay a red penny to ever go back to anything of them. Epcot had one fun thing to do, the new Guardians of the Galaxy coaster. Animal Kingdom had the Pandora flight ride, and Hollywood Studios well, that had nothing worth going back for. I’ll stick with Universal Studios for now one, which completely blows all 4 Disney parks away put together. Disney parks are just pitiful.
If you think watching the mirror portal reset is excruciatingly slow from a guest POV, imagine what it's like to be the one spieling! If you look closely you can see me literally pleading with the portal for it to open correctly the second time lol
I appreciate someone saying something. That was indeed dangerous and a sign that that they need to make everyone put their stuff away in lockers. There’s a reason why other parks do it.
Congratulations for LWTL! You finally appeared in a TPM Breakdown Video. Also I liked how that one Cast Member from Storytime With Belle just stayed in character the entire time.
Props to that cast member in the beauty and the beast attraction for doing her best to keep the magic alive with the door and not freak out or panic others when it malfunctioned!
We actually got stuck on the Pirates of the Carabeans ride while it was in the scene with the pirates signing so we just listened to a single sea shanty for over 30 minutes. Still haunts me to this day
I was stuck on Pirates in Disney Paris and we were stuck going up. The water going down made us wet like crazy. Luckily it was a sunny day and it happened at 12 ish. So still time to dry of. Still at the end at 11-ish evening, my underwear was "moist" (yucky word, but for this it is the most accurate word)
We got stuck on tpotc and we were under the one pirates feet, in Disney world, and uh, we have gone multiple times and each time i thought the animatronic was gonna fall in the boat with us💀😭
I remember the enchanted tales with Belle. I thought we would hear a story from belle whether live-action of animated. instead, the mirror expands as it shows a door. it was so seamless I couldn't grasp how they did that. also congrats on your first ride breakdown in Walt Disney world.
I'm a cast member at WDW and the Buzzing at HM could be the buss bar which is basically the electric power on the ride,in order to do the in show exits they put the ride in "Ride park" mode (at least that's what we do here) which means that the ride is not fully powered down in order to see what's going on while the in show is taking place! I hope this helps!! 😁 PS love your vids ❤
Yeah, I agree, my hearing is naturally crap so I've had to listen to TVs and stuff amplified and that's just how electrics, especially older electric stuff, sounds on its own. Like when you'd be waiting for a videotape to get to the next thing and all you'd have is blackness and buzzing. Sometimes my laptop does it when it's having a moment and will crap out on sound giving me that noise. Given it's much newer I assume it's a default frozen state of some sort.
I got stuck on Pirates at Magic Kingdom when I was a kid. The cast member put on waders and got into the water and pushed our boat to the nearest unload platform. Definitely a cool experience!
I was actually the one who took the video!!! It was super special bc it’s my favorite ride of all time! Seeing him react to my video surprised me bc I’ve been a big fan of him for such a long time.
Don't know about Disney specifically, but speaking as an audio expert, I am assuming the buzzing could be from electrical interference. That could also be why the entire ride needed to be stopped.
That buzz sound from the haunted mansion ride is called a 50hz hum and it means an unshielded audio cable is open which means its disconnected it makes that buzz sound or if its plugged in it can either be a ground loop or the jack isn't fully plugged in also why they don't just turn the volume off or mute the sound.
I don't know what's more disturbing about number 9: the awkward silence of the ride with the gears, or the fact that Liz looked like she was the *only one* on the ride (if she was). 😂
I once broke down at Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland around January 2020. We stopped in the ATAT scene, and I wish I had taken a video! We had an in-show exit and it was super cool to see everything up close.
It’s very interesting that someone caught video of the cat in Carousel of Progress. The cats usually don’t come out until late at night after all guests have left the parks. It’s usually only CastMembers that catch sight of them.
I would LOVE to be evacuated from Living with the Land since it’s one of my favorites and I’ve never had the funds for Behind the Seeds… looks so interesting!!
God I'd be mortified if it was my bag that stopped the ride. I know it was an accident but I'd be squirming. D: Also, kudos to that cast member in Enchanted Tales... bet she had fun improvising. xD
12:08 I think ppl don’t realize the reason it breaks down so much is because those sensors are so important, cast member was crushed by the rotating stage before they existed
I got stuck on the last scene of Carousel of Progress when I was seven. These people were lucky they started moving after three performances because I had to sit there for SEVEN before we got evacuated. Even today, whenever I ride, I still check the walls after each scene to make sure we're moving.
The little mermaid ride breakdown is really impressive breaking down in front of Ursula would be interesting if that was me I would not be disappointed
THAT’S MY CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS CLIP OH MY GODDDDDDD I actually screamed when I realized that was my clip and I’m ironically about to go to Magic Kingdom AGAIN today Thank you so so much for using my clip- I’m so glad you found it entertaining 😂😂 This is a dream come true omlllll LOVE YOU TPM 💕💕💕
I used to work on Living with the Land back when CMs gave the narration on the boats. Evacuations rarely happened while I worked there. I can think of only three times where it happened while I was there. The boats are really easy to push on the water, even with guests on them.
I once got evacuated from tower of terror and the ride stopped right before the lightning strike sound effect and it was so scary anticipating the drop and it never happened! The person I was with never went to Disney before and he was all excited for the ride and I started panicking because I was waiting for the drop I knew was bound to happen but it never did. Then the lights turned on and we had an in show exit and the way to evacuate was to take another elevator hahaha
16:29 That buzzing sound sounds similar to what happens when the Wii or Wii U freezes up during gameplay. My theory is that maybe one of their audio software has a glitch and froze up before a cast member switched to a different audio system. I don't know much about Disney and their softwares, but that is my theory
Gotta say, Disney Hong Kong is going things well with using more realistic features than projected faces, it makes it seem way more magical. (i havent been to any disney park, but the videos still make it magical even if I can't go and ride myself)
I think its frankly hilariously dark when the little mermaid ride shuts down and Sebastion says 'it might be the sea witch!' when it could just be someone in a wheelchair trying to get on
Ride breakdowns at Disney hit different because when we see the ride with the lights on, it enhances the magic because we can see what the imaginers did inside of the attraction and see what they did and how the theming works and that is so cool for a lot of us. I personally have never had a ride breakdown before, and I am hoping for one in the future whenever I go back.
2:04 this is the first time the Hong Kong version of the frozen ride has ever broke down 2:53 looks like it’s a silent world rather than it’s a small world 5:13 looks like we’re stuck in front of Ursula 6:48 looks like we got the first lights on experience on living with the land 8:27 look the lift has opened up by itself and the lights are on 10:03 I hope not because if someone is messing about on stage they will get removed by a cast member 10:39 I believe there’s a mechanical issue with the moving parts the way it’s not moving to the end of the show at all 12:33 I believe this is the first time ever someone has caught this breakdown of the goofys sky school 14:30 did I just heard the cast member saying oh no 16:20 once again haunted mansion is broken down again 18:04 looks like Sven and Olaf have been frozen to the spot
I love these Top 10 Breakdowns... but now I wonder is there a "Paris Edition" or a "Worldwide Edition"😉😇😉??? (I'd just love to see more Breakdowns from the ride-versions I actually rode on)
This happened to me once on the Pooh Bear ride. Halfway through the ride stopped and we had to get off and walk the rest of the way. It was actually fun, though seeing all the scenes there walking vs normally gave it a different feel.
Last time I was at Disney, I was on the Little Mermaid ride when we stopped and I instantly got filled with excitement bc I thought it was my first malfunction experience and we’d get an in-show exit but nah, the ride started back up and kept going :( Also, the physical animatronic faces for the Frozen ride in Hong Kong 100% look better than the projection ones in Florida. I’m sure they’re also less creepy when they’re turned off or malfunctioning 😅
Also, grandma was just playin away when the carousel of progress broke down she was just like, "Be quiet, let me game" YOU GO, GRANDMA, GAME GRANDMA GAME!!!
The family in the background of the Little Mermaid ride is textbook 21st century. The kid's all excited to have a fun ride experience, and both parents have their eyes glued to their phones.
That buzzing you are hearing is likely the control PC crashing or freezing causing audio jitter, which will prolong the audio then cut it off and it probably self restarts or unfreezes, so its probably stuck in a loop. its possible the electronics are overheating, as that is a common reason.
I like it but, I want you to make a video called this time because some of them we never heard of othr disne theme park which is: Top 10 Disney Ride Breakdowns Malfunctions & In-Show Exits Pt 13 10- Webslingers a Spiderman Adventure 9- Matterhorn Bobsled 8- Pinocchio's Daring Journey 7- Goofy's Sky School 6- Monster Inc. Hide & Go Seek 5- Na'vi River Journey 4- Star Tours 3- Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast 2- PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom 1- Toy Story Midway Mania
The one and only time I've been on the little mermaid ride I broke down right in front of a fish playing a tuba. It was literally the only thing I could see for a solid 15 minutes.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
