I agree with you how being assertive, being proactive, use preventive strategies to help prevent poor behavior from occurring in the classroom, using positive reinforcement, being fair in regards to how you handle discipline issues, having engaging lessons, talking to students in private, and getting to the root of the problem are great classroom management strategies.
