Another great video Cortney, we have 18 blueberry bushes, 4 peach trees, 4 apple and 4 pear trees. We can green beans and potatoes. We water bath our blue Berries in wide mouth quart jars and it works out great for us.
Thank you!! Amazing that you’re growing so much fruit at home!! Blueberries are my favorite. I’ve never tried canning them before except for jam, good to know you can water bath those in quarts.
New subscriber here! Thank you for this information! This is the first year I grew lettuce and I absolutely loved it! The key for success was gardening nets!
Great!! 🙌 Thank you for watching and I hope you have fun planning your expanded garden! You can’t go wrong w/ sweet corn and strawberries (or I’m biased b/c those were my childhood growing up in W. Michigan) - saves money and the garden flavor is priceless.
Don't know how I missed this! Such great info thank you. I live in the Pee Dee area so I know how hard it is to grow in this heat and this year the bugs are so bad!! They are eating everything even my flowers 🤦♀️ NSG🌱
Yes! This year especially challenging with more bugs. It’s driving me nuts how it’s really dry one day, like 30% humidity, then 80% the next. Hang in there!! NSG 💪
I’ve grown two varieties of flint corn this year. I wanted to try my hand at growing for cornmeal and feed supplement for my chickens. It has worked out well.
So happy to have found you and your channel! We are moving from NM to SC soon. We will most likely initially be in the Aiken County area, but may end up further north when we buy our land. Looking forward to more videos and learning!
I’d love to know your favorite ways to incorporate it into your meals! 💚 I am determined to figure out ways to make it more delicious. It’s so good for you and easy to grow!
Your garden is just beautiful! I’m beginning to garden again after a long break. Right now it’s only container gardening in a forested area - lots of animals with the munchies here!
Thanks so much. Getting ready to leave it in a few weeks and rebuild my garden, a much smaller one this time! Container gardening in a forested area sounds very peaceful and beautiful, but maybe not as peaceful after the animals have found you! I know that can be quite frustrating.
I Really Enjoy All the Valuable Information from Your Channel Cortney! You are a Fantastic Gardener, in Fact Your the Best!! Please have a Beautiful Day and Week Sweet Friend!❤
@@CortneyGrowsFood sure was. An excellent framework, but I like how you also sprinkle in some little gems like about the herb cubes! Definitely going to use that idea.
