I saw the movie yesterday and it was just amazing I loved the whole we are done with humans thing and lockdown was great and this comes from a fan of all transformers story lines. "You see my face you're done"- lockdown

Number 5 is my favorite. It’s just perfect. It’s not only movie accurate for Age of Extinction, but the robot form looks identical to battle damaged Optimus from the Bay Trilogy. I only wish it had flames, a faceplate, and his energon blades.

I agree with you Alex. Number 1 is the most movie accurate and it looks great! But I'll be picking up the "Autobots United" box set with the 5 (if it's available for the public)

I really dig the colors of #1, not necessarily in reference to movie accuracy, but this figure and that silver/gunmetal look super cool together. I think the eye color (looks like a light blue from the video) is really fresh also.

I think i am gonna go with the #1 . It looks movie accurate and that's what most important for me. Also the Nemesis Prime is a very good choice for something "different" of this mold. Thanks Alex for this video, we needed all the variations so we can choose! You were VERY helpful!

im in chicago in the hotel where the crew for dotm stayed so yeah and i saw the location where optimus and lockdown fought at the end. and the voyager evolution 2 pack grimlock is a repaint too.

You use the evolution legs, then you use the takara body and arms and for personal preference if you want to use the face mask use either the evolution head or the autobots united optimus prime head and you will end with a accurate colored version of optimus from the evasion mode optimus prime mode

I like the number 1 rated evasion mode optimus prime, because to me it was the most screen accurate toy i have ever seen and i'm one the biggest transformers fan. in other word i really like transformers.

I liked the Takara standard version overall because it had the blue colouring on his thighs and shoulders which made the stand out more since the arms on this mold look a bit thin. I think if you really wanted, you could kitbash it with the legs from the Autobots unite version which would be pretty decent.

Breakout Prime with toysrus damage would be supreme tho, sadly won't happen. am i the only one that didn't see any red blue bits on optimus in the movie? i think the 1st time he scan marmon97 (offscreen) he got that G1 paint, but at the events when cade found him, i can only see brown rust color all over prime no red blue bits

I kind of agree that some would say there is a conspiracy about O.Prime Evolution pack, in order to get a really good repaint of the classics Prime, you have to get the poorly repaint of Evasion prime. Still both good molds.

Really? You complain about the blue being out of place on the Hasbro Prime, then you're fine with the randomly placed chrome on the platinum edition? There are better places to have put the chrome (bumper, smokestacks, maybe even the rearview mirrors).

Just went my Local Toys R Us here where I live in Japan and reserved the Takara Toys R Us Special edition Evasion Prime. It will be available on Aug 8 the release date of the Movie here in Japan. I almost bought the regular Takara Version which of course is now in stock but I wanted the the special edition one. I plan to see the move here on release date on Imax 3D. Going to have to drive 2 hours to go see it! So far I have stayed away from spoilers yay!

I would have to say that the Takara standard and the nemesis prime are the best. The 2 grey ones are lazily painted on the robot mode and the rest kinda look dumb. I don't know if other people noticed but only the Takara standard has accurate thigh colors to the mold. Takara had the upper thigh armor colored as blue, while all the others have full grey thighs. I don't know why, but the thigh colors really bother me.

If you follow him on Instagram, he posted a picture of him at a wedding doing taking some videos and pictures for the wedding. I would say he was probably editing with his collected videos or pictures from the wedding. I'm only assuming, it's seems logical.

I don't know the price, but I'm DEFINITELY getting the Autobots United box set. The only Autobot I have is Crosshairs. When I get the box set, I'll probably just sell my Crosshairs.
