I have two labradoodles, a black 5 year old named Holly and a chocolate 4 month old puppy named Grace, who is chocolate but has a white stripe on her chest and one white foot. Let me tell you now, this is one of the best breeds ever. They are amazing companions, who have the family friendly nature of a lab mixed with the intelligence of a poodle, plus the ability to stand on two legs! They really are amazing I suggested getting one of you are considering it, they come in differing coats some wire like other softer mine both have the softer coats. Easy to train, the puppy is already house trained no crate or any of that nonsense and she’s been here for only 3 months! While this might be a lot for some, I also suggest getting two dogs, maybe one now and another later that what I did, we got Grace 5 years after Holly, this breed is very social and they get along perfectly, the adult actually taught the puppy a few things!
I have a black labradoodle called Ceilidh (Scots Gaelic spelling) pronounced Kaylee. We have had her since she was 11 months got her from a breeder. She will be 13 years old in six weeks. She has never destroyed a toy, chewed on anything but a bone. My first dog ever. We have just gone through cancer surgery with her. A low grade sarcoma on her thigh, never slowed her down. She is very bright and never forgets anything. A joy to have as a member of our family.
Our beautiful chocolate Labradoodle is 15 years old! She’s the most loving and compassionate pet. Nikki is great with the elderly and brings them much joy. We absolutely adore her.

I have a labradoodle who will be 8 in May. He's a great dog. He's a therapy dog where we visit the local cancer center. Patients and nurses love to pet him and he loves going to be petted! He's loved by many! He's not very active. Never has been. He's an extra large size weighing in around 100 lbs!!! Yes, he's been on a diet, yet he still only gets down to 94 lbs. He's VERY tall.
I have one named Mabel Grace. Possibly one of the smartest dogs I’ve ever had. She’s like Houdini, pure escape artist. I also have a bulldog that hears voices (no joke) and she’s like his little therapy dog for him 😂. She’s so sweet and it’s hard to get mad at her because she will give u big puppy eyes and a shameful face because she knows she did something wrong. Overall, a fantastic dog and I would recommend getting one
I love my labradoodle puppy! His name is Westley. My crazy angel is black with one foot that has white toes. Earlier today he was rolling outside and stood up then plopped down to roll again. His belly is super ticklish and almost everywhere you scratch on his chubby belly he scratches with his leg.

I have a chocolate Labradoodle, and he's the quietest dog I've ever owned. He is quite shy though too. He's certainly a looker and everyone wants to come up to him, but as I noted he is very shy. Super loving though to me and family. Very much a family dog! Perfect breed I think. No shedding, so not constant vacuuming. If he sheds at all, Ive never noticed.

Thanks for this fun video ! We rescued our chocolate labradoodle from a puppy mill when he was 3 months old.. It was a huge adjustment for him .. But now that he has been shown love and taught the proper way he is an amazing dog ! Potty trained at 6 months! 🙌 they are amazing dogs and deserve a place on the official breeds list

Our Labradoodle Sydney is extremely needy but so good with the family and nothing but love to give! Highly recommend the breed plus they don't mault due to the poodle in them :)

Which i also have, Jacks, he was my first service dog! Cockapoos were introduced in the 1950’s, THE ORIGINAL designer dog!!

Australians, on the other hand, have taken the Labradoodle a few steps further. Sincerely wondering why so many sources reference the labradoodle as the "pioneer" hybrid breed, when so many "purebreds" were created by mixing breeds, long before the labradoodle. Like the Doberman for example.
Man mine is a puppy. She's 6 months right now, and growing very fast. She's jacking up my backyard digging lol. But she's full of energy. The only problem I have with her is that she always bites. Manly my kids. Its sometimes a playful bite, manly on the fingers. She's my 10 year old daughters puppy, and she always getting bit by her, as well as my 6 year old son. I personally think its because they're the two smallest people in the house, and easier to take down. She doesn't try any of that with me, or my wife. Well sometimes she does get my wife, but not much. When she does try to get me, I personally know that she wants to play. I play rough with her when I do, just because of all the energy she has. I just can't wait until she's a bit older. We've discovered that we're not a puppy family type lol, but we love her like another kid of ours.
This is a year old but I am where you were right now! This might as well be me writing this lol. We got ours for our 12-year old son but our doodle seems to "pick" on our 4-year son lol! Probably bc he's picking on someone his own size haha. How is your doodle now that she's a little older? Has she relaxed a bit? We've had to fill in a couple holes in our yard as well but he likes being outside so I won't complain. He gets a kick out of me threatening to him back. He always calls my bluff. We love him though. Very smart and super affectionate dog.
Be careful of bad breeders, the popularity of a new breed will bring out the bad backyard breeders that don't care about their health. A multigen doodle will never have straight coats but either fleece or slightly curly/wool.....that said, good breeders will breed for awesome temperaments and will be excellent guide/support dogs. These dogs are one of the few that will get along with any other animal you happen to have, they are gentle and kind. A great family dog., mine is 11 now and she is a dream dog that has a Maine Coon cat as his playmate.
Ive only heard they are the Best of Best dogs an will be adopting a mini size soon like in summer of 2020 I so love them because also they are my kids in fur coats

Great video. We got our first dog last week. a 9 week old black labradoodle named Bella. I have some slight allergies and her coat really helps. her coat is straight and she looks like a black lab except that her hair feels thicker and slightly wavy. I learned alot from your video. thanks :)
We have a red labradoodle. He gets his third set of shots tomorrow and after that will be ready to go more places, including puppy classes. He loves people, and has already learned three new tricks. We are excited to have him and can't wait until he settles into adulthood.
No comment that most Labradoodles are 3/4 or more poodle? What I have seen when it comes to people with Labradoodles are people who want a poodle without the poodle cut. When it comes to poodles, you do NOT need to do the cut you see on most poodles. Those cuts are done by people who want to want that pool. People with Standard poodles who do NOT do those cuts are often mistaken for Labradoodles, I have had to correct a lot of people when I am walking my Standard Poodle. Standard Poodles are a real breed, Poodles give birth to poodles. Labradoodles are a product of a poodle and a Lab or other dog. Thus a 'Hybrid" not a breed. There are not even a "Type" of dog. "Type" is an old term for dogs breed for certain things, but no blood lines were kept. Most dogs and horses started out as "Types" that later became Breeds as people started to keep blood lines. I b
Ours nips when playing with my kids/ gets excited ( he is 9 months). We are breaking the habit right now but it is definitely a negative and made me want to get rid of him but my children love him.
If you get one of these dogs be prepared to spend a lot of money. Their hair never stops growing and so they have to be cut and groomed several times a year. Also, some breeders will tell you they do not shed. They don't shed in the sense that you find their hairs everywhere, but what you will find is a tumbleweed like collection of very fine hairs that blow around with the slightest breeze, such as by walking past it, so you find them under and behind furniture constantly. Also, they are subject to food sensitivities, and will get ear infections from certain foods, which means changing foods to find which one does not affect them in that way. i found the foods containing fish are the easiest for my dog. Read up on them before deciding to buy because the outlay of funds does not end there. Otherwise, it is a fine companion.
They won't & never will be a service dog. The original man that started all this mess regrets it because out of his own mouth said they're stupid they're not hyper allergenic they are useless and dumb. Backyard breeders are just trying to make more money by lying to people.

My labradoodle is chocolate but the tip of the chocolate fur has caramel, what coat would that b? It like to play fight a lot so I got some boxing gloves and it likes nibbling on me and the gloves a lot lol
You could get a irishdoodle(Irish setter poodle mix) seems like a compromise. Irish setters can be hard to handle so having mixed with a poodle would make easier to train.
I have three labradoodles ,Maisie 8 weeks old and caramel, Honey 9 years old and blonde and mikko 8 weeks old and black and white parti. So loving and sweet are two little ones know sit ,stay, down, potty and come already so smart.🐾🐾
Not too familiar with labradoodles, but I am with labs and poodles. Do labradoodles shed? I know labs do, but does it depend on the hair type or do they just not shed. My daughter is looking into getting one and I just thought I would check them out. They are awfully cute!

My labradoodle Evie is jet black and weighs 107 pounds 😂 she's not over weight but she's as tall as a great Dane 😂 and she loves new people but she doesn't like cuddles pretty much every one who walks past thinks one of the two things either awwwww or she's scary 😂 she a bfg lol
