I think I'm the only person on the planet who never thought Kanye was worthy of the praise he gives him self. It could be my age (27) but I've always seen his music as hacky and ripping off other artists but I guess I'm good at seeing patterns. This includes his early music. I'm sick of his fans calling his work innovative when there is nothing innovative about any of his music. He has some talent but musically speaking to me he's never been noteworthy.

I'm not necessarily hating on the genre of Rap itself (though I personally consider it more niche, than genre proper); but there are rock songs that are legitimate classics - how many rap songs, especially by people like that living embodiment of egotism, are still remembered a year after they are produced, let alone decades or more after the fact, like the work of Elvis Presley, et al.?

As I've mentioned before US-pop culture is far more globally known than any other..I'm a non-American and knew all of them except the hockey player..People from outside US are far more likely to know these people than from anyone else outside their own country,,I mean almost everyone knows people like Kanye,Bieber,Charlie sheen..But a person from somewhere in Asia is unlikely to know douchebags from Croatia,Italy,Peru etc unless they do something famous worldwide or are connected to the whole US-pop culture scene..Same goes for many douchebags in Asian countries..Most Europeans won't have any clue about them even though in their own country they are widely hated

I don't watch TV, but I know Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Kanye West... But those guys from NHL or Baseball, none of them are known here in Europe (except maybe UK), as none of these sports are played here. I understand most peoples voting are north american, and that's why the lists look like that, but there are people way more famous than that in north america (Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian) who are known here for their "douchebagness" ! So well, I feel like Watchmojo is less entertaining lately (especially with the tops 10 comedies).
Sniperkitten971 I don't know about Baseball but Hockey is a huge sport in Canada, it's all they watch, There is a Baseball Team in Canada and a lot of Hockey teams there too.. it's not just Americans that watch this stuff, WatchMojo is Canadian so they know a lot about all this, personally I watch quite a lot of ESPN here so I do see some headlines and highlights of these sports but I mainly just watch Football(soccer) or NBA basketball
