I read her story in a book on the White Rose movement when I was in 6th grade and never forgot the powerful impression her story made on me. Actually, I like this video on this channel. Sure there are male feminist that could be possible subscribers on the other channel, however it is better on this channel because this is suppose to be aimed for females and with feminism being a huge topic in America that means equal rights for women, it would be fitting 100%. I remember sitting in on a lecture about Susan B. Anthony, and though it's really amazing with what she started she was only really active about WHITE women's right to vote. She never regarded people of color (the whole spectrum from black,Asian, Latino) in her advances. It's a tough one when she's regarded as a feminist.
While it's disappointing, she did that for strategic purposes, i.e. get the Southern women on board with suffrage. It's not that SBA isn't a feminist but she had to pick & choose her battles. Had she been more inclusive, there's no doubt women's right to vote would have taken longer....it had already been going on for decades. Intermixing that struggle with analysis over ethnic communities' needs would have only stalled the progress. You see this multiple times in social movements....an activist is faced with difficult choices & opt for what is advantageous, even if the concluding result undermines a segment of individuals.
