@@fantasyfootballcounselor im sorry joe i should have been more clear. i already picked bijan in one of my fiirst 4 picks. my 5th pick mhj or gibbs? i always appreciate your advice.
In my redraft league, which I happen to be the commissioner of, I ended up with the 1st pick of the draft. I swear it wasn’t rigged. Lol. But man…. I am already picking Bijan there. Good call? Or should I go Lamb and stack him with Dak later?
Joe, you might not always be right, and I may not always agree with you, but I love that you go against the grain so I can actually have guys to target who aren't cookie cutter. Loved the interview with Kyren Williams too. Thanks for keeping fantasy interesting.
@fantasyfootballcounselor Damien Pierce pick last year hurt me but I will say you got the majority right. Pollard and Laporta you were dead right. Swooped Laporta last round in 1 league.
Joe, great conversation with Kyren. Have to love how he wants to be a leader on this team. He mentioned, on the field, in the locker room and off the field, you have to love that . What some folks don’t realize is that last year he had over 250 touches and he missed a handful of games. Even with BC behind him, he’s going to eat , not to mention, BC is going to push him to be even better . Great content as always!
Hi Joe! Great, Fantastic interview with K-DUBB! I've been playing f.f. since the days when you had to wait for the USA today on Monday to read the box score to calculate your points. I always looked to draft a player w/ positive attitude and skill set. A player that would go all out whether he playing for $5.00 a game or $1.1 million a game. This kid seems to have these traits.
This is super dope , 🔥🔥🔥🔥 i started last year with fantasy and failed... i see alot of future wins .. you knowledgeable and i understand you and the rest of the gang 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great interview Joe ! Thank you Kyren! I expect another top 10 year from him. Show me where McVey goes with the rookie back. McVey finds ways to get the ball in his best players hands. Williams has proven such. Love the list. Very solid. JT, yes. Colts offense going to be heavy tight end sets and whoosh fast. Good thinking not sleeping on Braelon Allen. But that’s not the only reason I am taking BRob over Hall. Let’s throw in Halls one carry inside the 5 last year and Rogers career 155 TD passes inside the 5. Gimme the guy who is said to have a McCaffrey role in an offensive system that supported the Gurley years.
I am all about most of the players on your list!!! I own Benson, Spears, White in my high stakes Dynasty league. And I am beyond excited. And they are my flex guys! My RB 2 is Henry and RB 1 is Pacheco!
So Joseph, are you still running that robust rb strategy? There’s been pretty good data in the last 10 years that drafting running backs in the first round has a lower than 40% hit rate. When you draft an elite wide receiver, their chances of success is over 60% compared to running backs. Meaning WRs end up more in the players top six and top 12. The numbers for RB is less than 40% but you will have an outlier year. I was shock to see the numbers too but going robust RB be a thing of the past. If possible u land an elite wr. Then for the elite RBs. Try to find a workhorse in round 2 and then slack up on RBs in the later rounds from 6-7 and on
Been grabbing benson almost every where. I typically have 2-3 day 1 starters and benson is my mid season stash. Instead of going to waiver, Benson will just crush when Connor gets injured or cardinals realize Benson is more hungry and decide to feed him.
N our keeper leauge it’s only 1 player and commish is telling me I can’t keep CMC because he was my first pick so Williams,Achane or maybe Saquan(traded for him so don’t know how that works) they’d both be my last pick. K Williams on waivers and Achane was my last pick that I ended up dropping before he went off but think I still can keep him.✌️ great show, great guest!!!
Hey joe, keeping mahomes, barkley and lamb . Tough call on the last one. Laporta or kyren ( kyren was a league winner last year). Love the show brother !!!
I love the kid, humble, respectful, great energy. But I pray people take him in the first round, I’ll be drafting the Rams starting RB in the 7th or 8th round…aka Mr. Blake
As far as Henry is concerned, I got one hell of an offer in my dynasty league. I give up Henry and Ridley for Waddle, Jaylen Wright and a 2025 1st! Quite a haul! But I want to win now and turned it down!
@@fantasyfootballcounselor also FANTASTIC questions for your guest. You were well spoken and articulated your thoughts clearly and fluidly. Made it a great interview
Let's not forget how bad you were getting piled on when Gibbs started out slow...and where were those people, and what did they have to say when Gibbs finally exploded and became a top 5 RB from that point on? You nailed a TON of picks last year!
@@fantasyfootballcounselor yeah I can’t say I’m going to draft him even as a Texans fan 😂 but I think he will be a very good waiver pickup for the poor souls who have Monty and Mostert as their RB1
@@marklambert1790 yes!! I don’t even think it’s crazy to say he gets more use than Mixon. With the passing weapons in Houston the run game will be so underrated
in my dynasty league I have Bijan, Gibbs, CMC, spears and benson. I can play three felx spots hence why i have all of these studs. I know you dont think CMC is going to do good but I feel he will help me win the chip
@@fantasyfootballcounselor that is definitely true Joe. When I traded for him in the offseason I made sure to get me some weapons in return. I got cmc, tyjae spears and the 4th pick in the rookie draft which resulted in Keon Coleman and I am fairly certain you and I agree that Coleman is going to be the new number 1 in buffalo. I also traded etienne middraft to get trey benson. I should have asked for a 2nd round pick or something else but fairly certain benson will be better than Etienne by the end of this season or latest mid 2025
@@fantasyfootballcounselor I’m pretty sure you shake a magic 8 ball to make predictions. No breaking down schemes, film or analytics just let me pull this out my ass and hopefully I get a couple right with most of the odds being 50 50 can’t all be wrong so somehow some people believe you. You have a listener league to join now that I’m thinking about it. Might as well get some money back for the time I wasted
Where’s Achane? I understand Gibbs but Achane averaged more touches per game than Gibbs. Counselor even though I don’t always agree with your takes and some today I definitely don’t see but anyway I love your out of the box thinking and that you’re not scared to go against the grain!!
@@fantasyfootballcounselorbased on what? You can’t make any type of statistical argument for that. Just hoping for injury basically. Being a contrarian can be valuable can also be stupid.
Ok Fantasy Football Counselor, if you can answer this question I'll be a subscriber for life. What strategy would you use for a superflex twelve team auction league? $200 budget. No one on RU-vid can answer this. You could be the first.
And quick question…. Where is Pacheco? I mean his competition is who???? CEH, McKinnon? Basically nobody on a vastly improved offense. He is money this year!
